They are extremely kind and genuinely care about the people they provide an unparalleled support system to. If you are struggling with addiction, mental health, or anything else like that, these people should absolutely be your first stop.

Heather Mehann is one of the best counselors there. She truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyound to make sure they succeed. Without heather I would not be where I am today so thank you Heather for all you have done for me. You truly helped me change me life. I went from no job to a management position! Life is so much better because of your support

They do an amazing job especially considering how high of a workload these counselors have. Ive had two amazing counselors over the years I've been there. To those who have had a bad time you need to remember not everyone's counseling style matches with the client and if it doesn't you need to advocate for yourself and find one that is for you. Only issue I've ever had was with my Dr there. He isn't horrible but he got a little impatient with me after me not being happy with the meds he thinks I should be on so I requested another

I had to find a new counselor after years of seeing one that I loved from Milestone in Hornell. I tried a couple others but ended up going to Steuben Mental health and thanks to a friends suggestion got in with a counselor there named Allison, she has been amazing and the entire staff are very pleasant. Should you need counseling services I would highly recommend them as they have a large collection of providers and can match you up very well. Truly a amazing experience to me and this coming from a man who has been in counseling for quite awhile.

I'm very pleased with the service I receive at the VA in Canandaigua as well as Caulkins Road. Everyone is always friendly professional and helpful.

Jeez, it's been years since I was there. The staff was patient with me when I would lose it and runawa6 but they also helped me realize that I was given up for adoption. At least these places still exist for reasons .

I used to live there 15/16 and they saved my life. I would love to be able to find Mr. Howard that worked there around 98/99 and tell him thank you. His belief in me turned me into a great mother and I've never been in trouble since. Please if anyone knows how to find him or lead me in the direction of him, let me know. Tell him I just need him to know I appreciate him and his sacrifices for me and the rest of the children that needed an ear to listen to us. I will never forget you. I'm forever grateful.

As a young teen these people took me out of an unsafe environment. I have memories of swimming, basketball, video games and more. The ratings should be at least 4 stars. This post is my way of saying thank you.

No matter where you end up in recovery, any rehab you join can ultimately work for you if you make it work for you. With this being said, I'm not here to tell you if it's bad or good rehab...I've had both experiences here. But one thing is for certain, this place was an integral part of my success in my own recovery. I owe them that at least. I do want to highlight one thing, more than anything, this was amazing for me and I know it can be for you. Some of the staff and security were amazing. Dustin the security guy was there for me literally since day one. There has been times where past counselors and medical staff have been very useless on what needed to be done, and no matter the situation was I always felt better thanks to Dustin. He took the time to tell me hello and ask how I'm doing or even just passing along shouts of encouragement. And that has been all I needed after such times where maybe the place couldn't help me. But he did. Tom as well. And if you don't think that's such a big deal, they are both a huge part of what is and will be keeping me on the right path. It was a blessing I can take with me forever.

My mom stayed there 7 days for detox Next day of she get out to do DETOX my mom social workers from A CPS PENDING CASE CALL THEM CUZ MY MOM 36 YEARS OLD DECIDED GO BACK AND DO INPATIENT 28 CUZ SHE REALLY Want to do the admissions..... They said she have to wait 2-3 weeks for a bed... Now I understand why the world been covered of many people want to get help and they don't care really well them...

At New Directions they know exactly what they are doing and know exactly how to do it, you can't imagine how much I improved during the treatment. I have only good things to say about this place...

This is one of the GED test centers. Staff was very friendly. Difficult to find the entrance to this place though. You need go in the driveway just to the right of the Tops driveway, drive all the way back to the train tracks then there is a gate to the right. Entrance to the Action For A Better Community building is by the small red roof.

My experience here was great, I had been struggling with alcohol abuse for years, I was lost, torn, and I had a defensive attitude, but they took me in anyway. They were terrific, they were patient, they provided me with the best help, and thanks to them I'm learning how to maintain sobriety every day. You guys are THE BEST!!!

The best place I've ever been to for help. Have been In a few short and long term. Inpatient and out in my teen days and the staff has been by far the best around ! I also made a small hiccup on the end of my stay so stupid but they let it go with a warning seeing the progess I made as well as my fellow friend I made, her progress as well. I would 1000000000% recommend especially for women struggling with abuse. They specialize in really helping you find your inner strength . Also.. out of all the stays. This is the only one above a 3. So that tells ya something.. and its closer to 4 than 3 so great place !!

I was recommended here by FLACRA in Clifton Springs and I couldn't be more happier with my decision, was there from the end of May to the end of July, very caring and empathetic counselors and nurses along with the food service staff which is an army of one but she rocks it, they truly want to see you succeed and live a happy joyous life, they provide you with great information about addiction and also provide you with a wide selection of literature and even host NA and AA meetings with guest speakers, most staff are in recovery themselves so they can relate to your struggles with addiction, im 22 and currently 3 months sober, the age range is well diverse, I would recommend this ATC to anyone who wants to change their life around, I will never forget the staff who helped me overcome my alcoholism 🙏
