I have been with unity chemical dependency for a while now. All of the staff in outpatient and the majority of staff in inpatient are compassionate and were essential for my recovery. My outpatient therapist is always ready to listen and give incredible support and resources. I don't think I would be in recovery if it weren't for my therapist, Sam. My life has been saved. I have improved my quality of life, as well as my relationships. I highly recommend unity chemical dependency for those who struggle with addiction. If you are committed to changing your life, this program and staff will do everything to support you.

I went in yesterday and was surprised to see the new recreational center they created for Veterans. There's snacks, a pool table, and a great staff that work there. The whole Veterans Outreach Center has been good to me since I got out of the Navy in 2005. I sense there's a lot more they've done for me that I don't realize and for that if so I'm forever grateful. Thank you to all the staff and the community for your help. I greatly appreciate it and look forward to continued relations with you hard working, motivated, caring people.

I go here for chemical dependency therapy, and after years of battling addiction and being on the losing side of the battle, I am finally winning my battle. And a big part of that is to the phenomenal help I get from my therapist and MAT dr. At Evelyn Brandon. My therapist is such a sweetheart. I can call or email her anytime of any day and she'll respond as soon as she can and help me through whatever. They act as more than drug counselors, they're life counselors too. Plus I have a once a week group zoom meeting that I attend through Evelyn Brandon as well that I've gained some real close bonds with other recovering addicts so that I know that I'm never alone in this life long battle against my demons. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get help with either their mental health &/or their drug&/or alcohol addictions.. trust me, life is so much better being free from substances. It feels great!

I used to live there 15/16 and they saved my life. I would love to be able to find Mr. Howard that worked there around 98/99 and tell him thank you. His belief in me turned me into a great mother and I've never been in trouble since. Please if anyone knows how to find him or lead me in the direction of him, let me know. Tell him I just need him to know I appreciate him and his sacrifices for me and the rest of the children that needed an ear to listen to us. I will never forget you. I'm forever grateful.

OK went in not knowing if the off the chart pain was a gallbladder attack or what was happening yes being in the hallway in the ER for over a day stunk but everyone was kind and I understand they’re trying to attend to everyone the best they can.. I was admitted, but needed to wait for many many many hours to get a room. Ended up with severe, acute pancreatitis got moved to the surgical floor where every nurse was absolutely fantastic and compassionate! Every time I had to ring the bell because of my IV having issues it was only minutes before they came in! So attentive, so caring! I can’t say enough as to how hard these nurses work, and still have a smile on their faces, and really care about their job! My major complaint would be about the food that is given on this floor, or any floor for that matter after being on a water only or a clear liquid diet, and then NPO diet, which is nothing by mouth in the picture I show what they gave me after four days of not eating … a hamburger and tater tots I was disgusted that this is what they would feed somebody Who is moving to a low-fat diet who has pancreatitis and gallbladder stones! Spoke to the dietitian and expressed my disgust! It’s shameful to feed people food that is raised with all of these dies chemical, preservatives loads of sugar and sodium. There’s nothing nutritious whatsoever about this food and you wonder why people are sick.!! After requesting some different type of food, they did bring up a little bit better food basically fruit and vegetables, which I was fine with I wasn’t eating much anyways. Maybe if more people advocate for better food, they might do something about it?

I was assigned Arlene as a therapist March of 2022. Arlene and I have one on ones monthly. She always puts me first, helps with solve thru my problems I’m dealing with in early sobriety. Also provides me with resources and self help books to help me work on myself outside of therapy. Also Laura is my peer advocate, she is always a phone call away, meets me at AA meetings and is a great friend along being a great support for me. Laura goes ABOVE and BEYOND her expectations. She truly cares for her clients & their journey with early sobriety. During active use, she made sure I made it to detox and I was in a safe place. She is a great example of what a sober woman is. Set a great example for new patients I truly wouldn’t be where I am at if it wasn’t for Laura & Arlene ❤️😍 When I get my vivatrol injection, Mayra the PA, always takes time out of her day to say hello to me. 5 stars for Huther Doyle

The staff was extremely helpful and professional. I stayed for 28days. The food wasn’t the greatest but it was alright. There were classes offered that helped combat the depression and boredom. The rooms and Bathrooms were clean. Anything that was needed the staff was sure to accommodate. I was able to connect with my counselor, whenever I need to. The only thing I would say was an issue was the separation between men and women. You are allowed to speak to the opposite sex at all not even a friendly hello. The women are escorted everywhere and housed in a separate area meanwhile the men could walk all over all day. One day I started doing my own calisthenics trying to exercise when I was told I had to stop because it was against rules for safety reasons. There was a schedule listed Every Morning with the going- ons of the day. Over all it was an enjoyable stay once I got past the initial Rude meeting of the director.

Thanks to everyone here I have been able to get my life back on track after a crippling dance with opiates that lasted over a decade. On top of all that, I continue sessions to ensure that I am walking the best path I can - the weekly meetings, the degree of care during personal emergencies, and the actual reflection of the progress that I have made are all things that have helped me improve my life. I am a more whole person thanks to Delphi Rise. Healing one's self is never a straight path, but at least it doesn't have to be solitary or terribly crooked - Delphi kind of stands as an illuminating light in a terribly dark world. Keep it up, guys.

Delphi Rise is not just another outpatient rehab. This organization provides a wide range of programs that can only be summed up as true "Human Services." Yes, they will help you if you are struggling with addiction; they do that 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through their Open Access program. They also help people who are homeless get into safe, permanent housing. They will help you if you are even at risk of homelessness. They help people returning from prison to secure safe, permanent housing. They have a Health Home System. They offer assistance obtaining and keeping a job or help you apply for disability and get a specialized attorney to represent you for the case. They provide food, clothing, personal items, even mobile phones to those in need. Nobody is turned away for any reason pertaining to race, sex, religion, nationality, age, or criminal history of any classification or subtype. 2 years ago when I needed help with everything a person could need help with, they gave me a safe and dignified living space in less than 3 weeks of asking for help despite my many social barriers. They gave me treatment for addiction that began immediately and they still support my recovery today. They've given me clothing, bedding, personal supplies and toiletries, a phone with prepaid service, transportation to and from their office when I needed it. They have supported me in every area of need in my life for the last 2 years and continue to do so now and in the foreseeable future. Every time I go to Delphi Rise I am greeted not only with courtesy, respect, and dignity, but with down-to-earth kindfulness and warmth. Someone from Delphi visits me at my home once a month to make sure everything is going well and that I have what I need. These other reviews giving 1 star and complaining about personal treatment absolutely blow my mind, and they are not to be believed. To everyone at Delphi - Darnell, Monique, Alex, Rob, Mike, Tasha, Tashaba, Martin, Dr. Ainsworth, Krystal, and Jill - thank you for what you do every day to help the less fortunate, the outcast, the homeless, the unwanted - thank you for helping people like me. May God bless and sustain you in your mission and in your lives!

Villa of Hope provides substance abuse and mental health treatment for children, adolescents and adults in Rochester, New York. They offer outpatient treatment at this location but may refer you to another location if you need higher intensity care. The outpatient center is considered an extension of the comprehensive care offered by Villa of Hope.
Reading some of these reviews honestly breaks my heart. This organization has done and continues to do so much good for so many people. I know Carrie (the CEO), Isha (Director of Agency Advancement), and Amber in Development personally — they are deeply committed, compassionate, and truly passionate about helping others. Their work isn’t just a job, it’s a calling. I first came here when I was just 15 years old, staying at the Lifehouse where I learned life skills that helped shape who I am today. I’m 51 now, and I’ve watched this organization grow and thrive over decades. Please don’t let a few negative reviews from disgruntled former clients paint the whole picture. Instead, look at the positive stories they reflect the heart and impact of this incredible place.

We had a great experience with the school. Staff seemed to genuinely care and were supportive straight through. Staff worked with my child and some went way out of their way to make sure he was successful. Offered great support for parents. There was a high turnover rate in some positions, and that was hard at times, but my experience was that once the new staff was brought up to date, we didn't have any issues. We did not have any issues continuing with supports outside the school.

I absolutely love the Villa of Hope!!! I had switched from FLACRA’s outpatient program (WHICH I HATED!!!) to the Villa of Hope’s outpatient program, at the hardest time of my life. I literally can’t say enough good things about the program, the staff and the way that everyone was so accepting and willing to help. The only downfall I can say, is I have had a little trouble recently with getting my prescriptions on time when I am supposed to have them refilled by but other than that, I don’t have a bad word to say about them. I would highly recommend to anyone that is struggling with a mental illness or addiction. The Villa of Hope saved my life.

This department offers an outpatient medication-assisted treatment program and an addiction management program. Yes I really appreciate what The Pathways Methodone clinic has saved my life . I am 66 years old and I have been to 2 Rochester Clinics in my life , The first one was Strong ,which I feel was a money grab .If you go to one in the surrounding area of Rochester N.Y. go get on the list to Pathways, it has been the best one for me . My Counselor Roberta Sparkman is very good at her job ,she sure helped me get back on my feet and I go Bi weekly . I nearly died two times maybe more in my life but thanks to Narcan I am on the straight and narrow. The thing is don't lie to your counselor bc they are not stupid , they will find out about your history,I know Roberta had her work out on me. , she is I Believe ( the best counselor there ) or I should say the Best Woman to finally straighten me out , with the help of The good Lord and myself staying straight and Fentanyl free . It used to be Heroin but so many people are dying from this epidemic. So I know this is long but bear with me . You Folks who think having a Methadone clinic in your neighborhood is such a bad thing , think again, it saves lives bc your young children are peer pressured to Drinking and Drug partaking, it starts out my kids don't do drugs and they come home with pinned eyeballs and acting tired or sleeping all the time . Than they get addicted and you don't know what to do . Than you get a call in the middle of the morning from the morgue to identify your child bc they bought a bunch of dope and the dealer told him or her ,just do a little, you will be okay . Heroin folks is not pure heroin the cartels are lacing it with a lot of dangerous fentanyl and even a little bit on your finger nail is too much ,than you sniff it and within minutes, maybe less you feel pretty good, than you start feeling dizzy and if you are alone or you don't have Narcan you die , bc you are so High your brain tells your body not to Breath , so you basically are dead . Just think of that the next time you wish or vote out a methadone clinic . It's more than going there and getting your dose . They teach you ,they know your name bc they really care about you . Pathways is my Blessing and so is God and the Son of God . Look up on you tube how many people die from fentanyl it is staggering and fentanyl is cheap to make plus there is another Beaut in there it is a animal tranquilizer , I believe it's called Tranx , this stuff should not even be touched by the human hand ,cops have died from this and they most wear gloves . Anyway the nursing staff is excellent at Pathways . It covers a lot from mental health problems and a ton of other stuff . I have been in many car accidents so I'm just glad I was giving another chance,Thank you Pathways,Roberta and the wonderful Nursing Staff . Pathways is the Best and I'm a Baby Boomer. I got addicted to everything, there is hope

I've been to clinics in Illinois, South Carolina, and in my home of GA. The longest I've gone to a clinic was almost 11 years. I left for a year and went back to one in ga. I informed them I was going to be traveling alot they said it would be okay no biggie. Not true. I barely made it to 70mg, I barely got clean. When I got to pathways I was supposed to be here for, at the most 2 months. The least 4 weeks. My clinic wanted them to drop me to 60mg & drug test me before they'd dose me.. Christina didn't understand this logic. If I would've failed a drug test then its not like they would've turned me away. And she agreed with me that 70mg is low especially 60mg. I was on 130mg for YEARS. I'm still having withdrawal symptoms after 5pm everyday. But I've increased to 75 hoping to go up again soon. .. This place is different but in a good way . I'm used to being treated like the medicine (in my opinion) that I take to live is something to be looked down upon & heavily mandated. I'm used to the clinics making you empty your pockets for a drug test. Can't be on your phone in the waiting area at some places bc they want to know if you're going to nod out. Peek and troths make you sit for 1-3 hours no phone. Nothing. And it's early in the morning...you think you wouldn't be tired no matter what? Pathways is honestly the only place I've ever been to that seems to care about you and not the money. The first day there the counselors remembered my name. I didn't have to correct them on important aspects of my life they asked about, I've had counselors that after a year or more of seeing me 2x a month couldn't remember if I had kids. I understand most of the clinics I've gone to are big. But damn.. the smaller one, the counselor I had, I had never had a counselor put me into an actual anxiety attack . Her non chalant attitude and voice and the first time speaking with her she insisted I didn't tell a certain person if I had issues with her, my counselor, bc she was mean & If I told this other person she'd defend her..the person she said not to tell was a very good person, I told her, "what? She isn't mean I love her " like what? But at P pathways even the security guard is cool as hell!

I've been coming here for over 5 years, have seen 3 therapists that all have been amazing and for having the worst health insurance, I'd say 10/10 overall. My psych (for meds) was amazing and I was with her for 5 years until she retired, and the replacement is also excellent. For anyone who is new--remember this is a trial and error process! :)

It is a great place for therapy and psychiatric care, but my only complaint is that when a medication refill run out and a new Rx needs to be sent in, they do not always send it out in time, resulting in disruptions in medication regimes, especially since they do not always respond to calls from the Pharmacy. If you are on a medication that is scheduled by the Controlled Substances Act or on a medication you cannot live without, I would recommend having those prescriptions written out from a medical provider from another organization.

Westfall associates was instrumental in my recovery. At first I didn’t want to admit I had a problem. Then I didn’t want to ask for help. I celebrated 5 years sobriety this past summer and I continue my relationship with Westfall. The entire staff was instrumental in my success. The groups, the lecture series and stages of their treatment led me to success. Thanks Chuck and staff!

I have been in treatment in many mental health facilities over the years and have found Westfall to be far superior to any others. They are the kindest most caring group of people that i have ever met. Everyone including the front office staff and therapists have always shown me genuine concern and been dedicated beyond the realm of just their job requirements to assist me in my quest for better mental health. I have never had any difficulty in scheduling appts or receiving contacts in emergency situations. What a great place with wonderful people.

I’ve never been to East House nor lived in Rochester. But if Ashley still works there I’d like everyone to know she’s absolutely wonderful! When I was homeless in the DV shelter Ashley would call me & give me resources/housing recommendations. One time she even went out her way to ask her supervisor about a DSS question I had. Very kind & extremely helpful, I hope life treats her well 🩵🩷.
