We were many miles from home with a trailer full of horses and the staff was so fast and efficient to get us taken care of and back on the road in no time. I was hesitant to go to a facility for treatment. First of all the level of care was unsurpassed in my experience. Very personal and professional. The facility doesn't treat you as another number . That was huge for me. They spend time giving you the tools and therapy needed for you and your particular needs. Dr. Pete (Jesus sandals) was a wonderful Dr for me and had a very personable manner about him. Very easy to speak with and open . Erica was a nurse who was very helpful in her openess to speak with you and help you understand what tools you can use as a person struggling with mental health. Lori was fantastic. She did my intake process and made me feel less anxious and very welcoming. Abby you were also very helpful and I enjoyed the helpful conversations. If I forgot anyone just know you have made a lasting impact for me. Thank you guys so much. I would definitely recommend this facility and their support staff to anyone in need of help. Gino Travels 2 months ago I had to go to the ER on Sunday morning.....and i was treated so well....I hate to go to the hospital as many do.....so not only didnt feel well but very uncomfortable......my Nurse Zack Conrad was just amazing!!! His bedside manners are off the charts....he made me feel at ease and comforted....friendly smile talks in such a respectfully and loving manner.....I absolutely just loved him.....you really need more like him!!! Trying to avoid this traumatic event and see it was not my fault and learn to stay positive and not trying to hide and avoid a terrible situation but to open up about it and realize this was not my fault but caused by a careless older gentleman not paying attention when he slammed into the vehicle I was in and I now have some permanent disability even after under going multiple different operations......she help me try to see the positive not like life time disabilities Iam facing.......she is a true caring loving and looks out for her patients no matter what your age or color or race like you are one of her own children and teaches positivity and not to concentrate on negativity......she might not be some young counselor but uses her life time learned knowledge to try to instil positive thoughts into her patients life and show them no matter how bad anything is or may seem always instead seek out the postuve things not the negative kinda like when the devil whispers in your ear ....ignore him. Dustin the security guy was there for me literally since day one. There has been times where past counselors and medical staff have been very useless on what needed to be done, and no matter the situation was I always felt better thanks to Dustin. He took the time to tell me hello and ask how I'm doing or even just passing along shouts of encouragement. And that has been all I needed after such times where maybe the place couldn't help me. And a big part of that is to the phenomenal help I get from my therapist and MAT dr. At Evelyn Brandon. My therapist is such a sweetheart. I can call or email her anytime of any day and she'll respond as soon as she can and help me through whatever. They act as more than drug counselors, they're life counselors too. Plus I have a once a week group zoom meeting that I attend through Evelyn Brandon as well that I've gained some real close bonds with other recovering addicts so that I know that I'm never alone in this life long battle against my demons. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get help with either their mental health &/or their drug&/or alcohol addictions.. trust me, life is so much better being free from substances.
