You really have to be your own advocate here. Not just here but everywhere. I've learned to be open and honest about my mental health and what's really going on is best. There's great councilors you just have to find the one you click with. Make sure you tell them what you're looking to get from going to see them. Just be clear on your intentions or nothings going to get accomplished.

The Counciling Center has helped me out tremendously throughout the years. They have excellent counciling for whoever needs it. They have a wonderful Aftercare group for anyone who is in recovery. They are very positive and uplifting in what they have to offer.I have become a better person to my family and the community. The staff is the best in the country. I can't recommend these people enough! Betzy at the front desk is very friendly and helpful same with my Doctor Sean and My Therapist Priscilla. Came in looking for help for my ADHD, got diagnosed went through the process and Now I'm being treated and Wow, I'm just impressed with how smooth and friendly the process has been and their willingness to work with my work schedule which consists of 12hrs swinging from days to nights every week. My life is starting to take a turn for the better and I'm excited and hopeful for what's to come!! My only complaint which honestly doesn't outweigh everything enough for a lower rating was that I had an Interaction with a Nurse I believe her name was Gina , one time that I tried to call my Doctor to try and give him an update on my medication which was not working at the time. This lady had the Audacity to tell me "If you truly had ADHD you should be feeling some sort of effect", as if I'm trying to lie about my medication for whatever reason. When I'm the one struggling, close to lose my Job due to my heavy inability to focus, and struggling with my life at home...Few weeks go by and talk to my Doctor we agreed in upping the dosage, and If she ever sees this(and I hope she does), Guess what lady, it worked, I was not lying, so your disrespectful comment was completely unnecessary. And honestly if that is how you normally treat patients who are struggling you have no business being in this clinic or any others.

I m not saying that the whole place is bad but my experience there wasn t very good. It might ve been my fault but I didn t feel like it was. I didn t feel comfortable in my counselor was very judgmental. I don t know how I was supposed to open up and tell my problems to a counselor that was judging me, but I did find somewhere to go that didn t judge me so just be careful when you do go there and pick your person carefully.

I ve been working with Dr Mathurs for the past few years to address lately discovered mental health concerns. I ve found that Dr. M and his staff have been attentive, empathic and supportive throughout the years. Coming from a strict religious background it is such a relief to be in a nonjudgmental environment addressing real MH symptoms previously unknown and untreated from childhood.This industry is a Godsend and needs to be celebrated. For many years,decades in fact, I've heard alot about Teen Challenge. I've heard how wonderful and successful they are with people both young and old who are struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction, where traditional treatment centers and 12 step programs failed these people Teen Challenge successfully turned their lives around with this totally and complete Faith Based approach. Clients/Residents are encouraged to completely stay away from all secular activities and music and totally focus on the Jesus, the Bible, Church, Faith, Prayer and everything else associated with dedication to a Christian way of life. I've spoken to several people in the past who have successfully completed the Teen Challenge Program and they all said that their lives were completely turned around leaving alcohol, drugs, homelessness and crime behind them and now today, still devoted to Christianity are living productive and fulfilling lives.

The staff there are always very helpful and I can usually get in to see the Doctor within a few weeks. Sometimes they have open slots for the next day. I've never been screwed around by an VA bureaucracy here.

Wonderful ladies that answer the phone! They are so friendly and so is the counselor she is worth 5 stars alone and so are the girls upfront . Now, the reason for the 4 stars is because of the nurse practitioner here. She deserves nothing. No stars at all. She rushes you and on the very first visit has no idea who you are but will shove meds at you and demand you take them and not stop them no matter what they re doing to you. I ve never had someone sit down and not let me get a single word out. She s the worst but everyone else here is very pleasant!

Okay first off I ve been going here for nearly over a year now so over experience with all the doctors and receptionist here is my honest and thoughtful review!Let s start with the receptionist they are very considerate and family oriented they love to see regular faces and remember their patients well! I go in 1 time every 2 weeks and they work around my schedule pretty well!The psychiatrist this is my maybe 7th psychiatrist since I was very young battling anger issues , aspergers, and a number of other things! None of the other 6 were compassionate and only told me things I was doing wrong. Instead this one is telling what I m doing right but what I could possibly do to enhance my life!They don t care about the money so I really don t know where that lady with the one star is talking about. They love families and even offer I believe family counseling and relationship counseling.The prescription doctor here actually diagnosed me after nearly 13 years of not knowing why my anger was so bad she diagnosed me with bipolar when no one else seemed to believe me honestly I haven t felt more good about myself in ages!I recommend it here for families, adults seeking help, and children in need.

But to my surprise the lady the registered me was super nice.. the lady they had me talking to was super nice even though I thought I was too broken she's was willing to help me.. they only thing I was a little disappointed with was I went in to get my meds straightened out and find a new one and it has taken me a month to be seen again bc they see so many people.. which isn't they're fault they're trying to help so many people.. it just sucks to have to wait and fight alone until the next appointment.

I had to write a review just for that girls tantrum about Sarah. I ve seen her for 5 years and went from agoraphobia to social anxiety. Progress doesn t happen over night therapy is a process and calling her a prissy princess is so embarrassing for you. You obviously need some healing and sorry this place wasn t right for you. Sarah offers ranges of therapy that is effective if you stick to your treatment plan.

Psycare is a great clinic. Everyone has always been warm and welcoming. Sarah (my counselor) is the best, she has helped me get through so many difficult periods of my life and has truly helped me better myself in more ways than one. She is kind, empathetic, supportive, and genuine. I honestly don t think I would have been able to get a handle on my anxiety and overall mental health if it wasn t for her.
