They've made the lowest point of my life, so much easier. There's great councilors you just have to find the one you click with. Make sure you tell them what you're looking to get from going to see them. They have excellent counciling for whoever needs it. They have a wonderful Aftercare group for anyone who is in recovery. They are very positive and uplifting in what they have to offer.I have become a better person to my family and the community. The staff is the best in the country. Thank you for your help. Leonard Platt 7 months ago I came to the Youngstown, Meridian Rd location to get off of heroin/fentanyl at the end of 2023. The first day i came in to fill out paperwork i could tell i was at the right place. The staff are so caring and even when they're extremely busy they take their time with you no matter what. My only complaint was that my tolerance was so high and they start out every new patient on 30mg. That led me to still use until a couple months later when i finally got up to a higher dosage and they split my daily dose because i have such a high metabolism as found out they testing. Other than that i have absolutely no complaints and would wholeheartedly call a few of the staff friends. They have gone above and beyond for me a few times and i appreciated it so much. Many others will ask how my days going and while I'm at the dosing counter Maria is sure to ask if everything is ok with me which makes me feel great! The first year and a half i had Krista Rubosky as my primary care and MAT physician. Because i drive 63 miles round trip and because i was going thru other medical problems that hadn't been figured out yet, she would do both appointments at the same time on the MAT side. She was so caring and amazing, the best ever, but unfortunately she left there for personal reasons early 2025. As far as all the doctors, nurses and screening personnel, i can't say enough about how good mannered and patient everyone is and i honestly just love them for doing everything in their power to make us patients feel like someone actually cares and takes the time to do so. My heart goes out to all the employees and especially my counselor Abby. She's helped me more than i actually think she even knows. I've never been to a counselor before but it's been a pleasure being with her. I'll be moving next month out of state and I've got to say, i will wholeheartedly miss each and everyone of the employees at the Meridian Health Campus in Youngstown Ohio on Meridian road. I will genuinely miss our interactions every two weeks on my pick up day. Thanks for everything everyone and to anyone thinking of coming here, do it! It’s rare these days to find someone who genuinely cares about helping people, but you can tell she takes pride in what she does. I go in 1 time every 2 weeks and they work around my schedule pretty well! The psychiatrist this is my maybe 7th psychiatrist since I was very young battling anger issues , aspergers, and a number of other things! None of the other 6 were compassionate and only told me things I was doing wrong. Instead this one is telling what I’m doing right but what I could possibly do to enhance my life! They don’t care about the money so I really don’t know where that lady with the one star is talking about. They love families and even offer I believe family counseling and relationship counseling. The prescription doctor here actually diagnosed me after nearly 13 years of not knowing why my anger was so bad she diagnosed me with bipolar when no one else seemed to believe me honestly I haven’t felt more good about myself in ages! I'm am a really shy person when it comes to people I don't know. I also have a psychiatrist named Fabian, and compared to the psychiatrists I had before he is really good. I had been through three other therapists before discovering Preferred Care. They have top-notch practitioners who CARE. I recommend them to anyone I talk to when it comes up in conversation. Ck Ck 4 years ago I spent a few years in counseling with Joe. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I see there are several 1 star reviews and I am sure they have valid complaints, but I don’t believe that’s a good representation of this institution. I know there are many people they have helped. Often times people only point out the bad you do while the good goes unnoticed. I have highly recommended this place to my family and friends. You always have to be careful about who you trust.
