Witnessing a loved one hit rock bottom is a scary and heartbreaking experience, especially when you hadn t realized they were struggling with addiction. Then having to suddenly research treatment facilities was a raw mix of emotions. Thankfully we found Tree House Recovery PDX to help guide our entire family through the treatment journey, starting with my brother who was struggling with alcoholism.Tree House Recovery PDX is a holistic addiction treatment program for men. When first visiting their site, I immediately noticed their empowering voice mixed with an emphasis on team-focused, complete recovery not to mention MMA, Yoga, and Writing Therapy. Tree House treats the mind, body, and spirit for sustainable recovery, by building strength through fitness, addiction education, writing, 1:1, group sessions, etc. The more we learned about their holistic approach, the more we were ready to contact an admissions counselor and ultimately my brother made the decision to enter the program.Privacy is of the utmost importance at Tree House Recovery PDX, so I don t want to disclose too much, but know that the entire team treats everyone with care, respect, and professionalism. Clinical Director Karen Willock's monthly family group sessions were particularly impactful, and Nevin Andrews was incredibly responsive and kind throughout my brother s 5-month treatment. Everyone continues to be supportive, too.As a family member of a program graduate, I would wholeheartedly recommend Tree House Recovery PDX.

Where to being. Treehouse is the very first place that comes to mind when I think about where I would send a loved one struggling. I went through PDX and it absolutely gave me a foundation to actually build a life. The program design, team, staff, culture allowed me to get to a place of healing that had eluded me for years. I ve been to 15-20 rehabs in my journey. Detoxes, inpatient , outpatient, Salvation Army, the million dollar mansions in SoCal, and every SUD/ PTSD program the VA has- but none of them got CLOSE to getting me to the place that treehouse has. I am truly grateful for life I live today and I owe a tremendous amount of thanks to Treehouse as a whole#PDX

I have been to allied coda and many other from California to Oregon and this place is the best mat treatment around. The people here are amazing from Wendy the main lady to Marise and Joy and all other o e of the consler that isn't even mine Trisa sent me an email forever changed my life my consler is Joy and she goes above and beyond for me and marise use to be my consler I can just tell u amazing his stories are great and Wendy without her there would be know New Seasons. I can't forget the nurses the people in front just all around no bullshit kinda of place

I did intake here originally December 2020, but have courtesy dosed here before. It is by far the best clinic in the Pacific Northwest. Previously I attended several clinics in Seattle.It is important to understand that they are doing the best that they can with the number of people that they have. I have seen job postings for nurses on their website for years. It is not their fault nurses join and leave so abruptly or are hard to find and hire.Then you have the patient count that has steadily been increasing. Most stable patients qualify for take homes fairly fast, so don t expect to have to go daily for too long. There will be days the wait will be long. That s just life. People take vacations. Shit happens. Relax and get your dose.

This is a good place to begin your journey and general understanding of what it takes to walk the path of getting clean and bettering yourself as a person. The owner understands the sacrifices, costs, risks, and determination it costs for her Center s patients to begin that path of getting and staying clean from their substance abuse. They are interested and understanding. The same has to come from the patient though and not just their end.

I spent 6 months there and was kicked out of my sober living house because of unsuitable reasons i won't go into here. But let's just say it was around the whole George Floyd thing, and the race riots.

This is an amazing treatment center. A staff that are both well trained and genuinely care about their clients! This is a community that incorporates really awesome outings, meditation and has a great nutritionist. I found a life in recovery there and recommend it to anyone seeking compassionate healing!

Worked hard to get my family member an appointment when sharing the situation. I feel the fewer obstacles equals more engagement. Frustration creates people walking away. The more agencies that assist in making services accessible and welcoming for our community, the better.

A clinic with amazing staff and fantastic recovery environment. The people here truly care and are always there to make sure you re on the right track. I ve been here for almost 3 months, and have been able to recover through their support and kindness. I ve had Ken as my therapist there and he is wonderful! Tons of resources, knowledgeable, and overall great community here. I highly recommend coming for treatment!

The best clinic in Clark county and all of Portland. After a lot of hard work, I have gone from being homeless and using to owning a business and home and staying clean because of the care and empathy this clinic and it's staff has for the patients here! I have 6 years clean next month. I also was treated horrible at North Star and Belmont making treatment harder to work the program. When I came to VTS the quality of care is so much better then other clinics I've been to. Ken is an amazing counselor and really cares about you as a human. The nursing staff is incredible esp. Michelle and Aubrey! If you need help try this clinic. They go above and beyond to help.

What wonderful facility. The staff is fantastic. It was such a comforting, safe and welcoming place. If I'd have known, I'd gone much earlier. I couldn't recommend them more.

One of the best and most meaningful experiences of my life. I understand I got the perfect set of circumstances; my room location, my roomate, the people I went thru detox with ect. The people who work there are mostly very loving and caring if you need them to be. They will try to make you as comfortable as possible. Beds are not bad, TV with cable in room, allowed to eat in rooms. I came in on my knees and left stronger person with lifelong friendships. Extremely thankful for my time there. PS. The provider Micheal is FINE FINE FINE! So thats a nice distraction.

It was everything I needed. The right place and the right time. This program has already started changing my life. I have so many new tools and an awareness of who I am.

I came into another chance a meth addict. For my intake I was high but I've been here for about 4 months and this place kept me clean and sober. The staff and counselors are awesome and classes you really learn from. I can't forget kristina and cheryl the lady's at the front desk. They are awesome and a big help. Thank You another chance. My clean date is December 6th of 2024 amd I started treatment on December 9th.

The staff here at Westside another chance is the kindest and well informed people I have meet.

The ladies at the front desk I love foreal they make it so easy to get the intake process easy and comfortable I don't know if this place can function smoothly without these ladies. They made it to where my intake I was able to get vulnerable without feeling judged I lobe them sincerely.

Lifeline was very helpful from detox to residential. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lifeline program taught me a lot about myself to help me grow into my recovery. From my progressive drug use to my mental health they have a program for it all. Thanks lifeline for saving my life.

They were very helpful and explain things to me when I didn't understand and I've learned much at this place. People are people. Sometimes they're not happy, but most of the people there are happy and will help you if you will help yourself. And reach out to you it was a good experience.

I have so much gratitude for my 9 weeks in Newberg and for my IOP classes after I got out and went into a sober living house. Tom my counselor recommended to go to sober living when I left Newberg. Well today is 153 days sober and have so much hope to continue this sober journey one day at a time for the remainder of my years left

I had a solid experience at HBF. Not having air conditioning in my room for three weeks was not good, but the programs were.My IOP classes, very good once Tim Craley returned from vacation. He is a talent. Very engaged, did not shortcut anything and made sure all participated. I really got a lot out of that experience. Tim is a special person.All in all, I am really glad I went. Currently 70 plus days sober with a lot of positive momentum.

Life changing. The staff is kind and nonjudgemental; the curriculum is varied and holistic. Could not be more pleased with my experience. From the counselor at inpatient to the facilitators in IOP/OP, I was cared for.

The staff at this facility seem to care if I live or die.

Only visited the pharmacy. A kind man with a parking shuttle drove us from our vehicle to the building. The building was clean. The staff was kind. Medicine was filled quickly.

I really appreciate all of the staff I have encountered at this facility. I receive care for mental health related issues here. They have really helped me a lot.

In the very beginning I felt extremely welcomed and safe in the Women's group led by Amanda. I learned a lot of tools for dealing with my Mental Illnesses. It was comforting to know I'd be in group for the majority of the week.

I was in a deep, dark place this time last year and Cedar Hills took me in with open arms. I had never done an outpatient mental health program, I was feeling really insecure. The staff was wonderful, it felt great to have everything managed in one place. Frequent medication changes proved to be so helpful. This program allowed me to get back to the basics of self care, along with depression and anxiety management. I graduated April 2024 and I m a different person. I can go to work, I can safely express my emotions, I can verbalize my needs, and I understand that I have worth. Thank you Paisley for being the best counselor and helping us all get to the place we want and deserve to be.

My experience was not what I expected. I walked away from therapy feeling in control of my life and my decisions. I learned a lot from group therapy and hold what I learned and the lived experiences of those in my group in my heart.Thank you to the staff who participated in my road to recovery.

This place made a big difference for my child, and that is all that really matters to me. I will say, they could have HUGE improvements in parent involvement, parent education, and family therapy. At times, they seemed almost anti- parent, which seems to me to be a strange approach to recovery. My ex and I were left on completely different pages as to next steps for our child. They should take a note from Clementine which has great support for parents. But, my child is doing well, and I'm thankful.

Wanted to thank the staff and everyone who was in here at the same time as me.I didn't come here entirely on my own free will, but because I was kind of cornered into it by my therapist. And I wasn't happy about putting my life on hold to be here. But now I see why she really wanted me to go.I had no previous experience with programs like this and didn't know what to expect. And you can bet I doubted everything every step of the way. I still do in some areas.But the longer I was there, the more I saw a difference and realized why things are done the way they are.I got a lot out of the program in the relatively short time I was there and have seen a big difference in my eating and thinking. And also in my physical health and brain. My memory has really noticeably improved and so has how I feel physically. And I've felt so much calmer and happier compared to before I went in. Turns out eating consistently helps you not feel like you're in fight or flight all the time, who would have thought haha.

this has been the best eating disorder treatment center i have been in! yes, they did make me eat food and not engage in behaviors but i don t feel the need to anymore! lauren has been very helpful to my recovery! she deserves a raise for all the work she puts in. anyone can see how passionate she is about her job! ari is an amazing therapist! amanda is doing an AMAZING job as clinical director! she is determined and dedicated to helping others live eating disorder free! all the staff is amazing and wonderful! 10/10 would recommend! #edfree

My experience at Lifeline was completely life changing. If you feel like you need a soft place to land with angels at every corner to help, go to Lifeline. The amount of support, kindness, and empathy you will receive is overwhelming. Please, if you are in crisis, go to Lifeline. I will never forget all of the staff members who hugged me when I cried, and told me I deserve all of the love in the world. It was endless. If I ever need help again, this is my new refuge, or what I jokingly call, a safe mom basement you would dream of to recover in. :) There is so much love at Lifeline.
