Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride. The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. They challenged me, listened to me, and gave me advice and suggestions I have taken to help me soar. If you're struggling, you don't have to do it alone. I would highly recommend this program for any man who is having trouble with addiction and needs to turn his life around. Thank you, Tree House.

My experience at Recovery Village has truly been life-changing, and I will forever be grateful for the people who made such a huge impact on my recovery. Hannah is an incredible group facilitator. She has a way of making every group meaningful, engaging, and something I genuinely looked forward to. She is compassionate, understanding, funny, and truly cares about the people she works with. You can tell that she puts her whole heart into what she does, and she has made a lasting impact on me. Allison, my one-on-one therapist, was absolutely amazing and life-changing. She created a space where I felt safe enough to be completely honest, even when it was uncomfortable. She helped me work through things I had been carrying for a long time and gave me tools and perspectives that I will continue to use long after leaving treatment. I am incredibly grateful I had her as my therapist. I also want to recognize Jay, Lindsey, Randi, Kathy, and Jared, who are all incredible BHTs. They consistently went above and beyond for us. Whether it was listening when we needed someone, helping us through difficult moments, making us laugh when we needed it, or simply being there day after day, they made a huge difference in my experience. Their patience, compassion, and dedication did not go unnoticed. And a huge thank you to Angie, Toni, Whitney, and Dale, who are absolutely amazing nurses. They were compassionate, attentive, patient, and always willing to help. They made me feel cared for and supported throughout my time there. Recovery is not easy, but having the right people around you can make all the difference. I came into Recovery Village needing help, and I left with tools, hope, confidence, and people I will never forget. This is an amazing place. I felt at home here. From all of the nurses, BHTs, counselors, medical staff, chefs, maintenance - I was completely taken care of. Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above.. Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. But this place plants seeds that lead to a life of substance free Bliss!! The acupuncture in the AM and evening AA/NA Meetings meant everything to me.

Another Chance is hands down the best treatment center I have been to. I was on fetti and meth and had been homeless for years. The first day I got there they got me into a sober living house and made me feel welcome. All of the staff is great and they have a very high success rate. My experience at Lifeline Connections was both meaningful and challenging. I’m grateful for the support and tools I received during treatment, but there were also experiences that were difficult for me. While in treatment, I was called a racial slur by another participant who had already been discharged but returned to pick up belongings. I was disappointed that, after responding with “okay,” I was placed on a 5-day phone restriction. I felt that the situation could have been handled differently and that my perspective deserved more consideration. Overall, Lifeline was an important part of my recovery journey, and I’m thankful for the things I learned and the people who genuinely supported me. The Recovery Village saved my life! I was there in 2024, the staff were so helpful and very empathetic. I had never been to rehab before, and it was the best experience for me. They focus on the underlying issues of why you use substances to numb. I rate the experience 10 out of 10 and have recommended it to other friends that have family members that struggle with addiction. It was bittersweet when I left after 45 days, as I felt very safe there. I am 2 years and 2 months clean from pain meds and have no desire to take them again. Thank you to all the staff!

This place saved me. At first arrival, I was sketched out for sure. I was about to leave when two of the staff, Scott and John spoke with me and put me at enough ease to check in to the detox facility. I had so much trepidation but once I was in, I was so happy I stayed. Each and every one of the staff is amazing! From the nurses who are awesome(Boo especially), the BHT’s who genuinely care and go above and beyond to bring as much comfort as possible during my stay, to the therapists and medical clinicians, all were a huge part of my recovery. Even the C level, Bethany was present and available when needed. The food was great and regularly improving. The beds were comfortable, rooms are basic but everything that is needed. The room I was in had a Roku tv so I was fortunate but from what I heard every room will be getting one which is nice to be able to be able to secluded myself when I wanted and just zone out to shows to pass time. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this facility for any detox needs. -CDK

Best emergency mental health place around portland. Brian Esparza is a genuinely nice guy and tries harder than 85% of doctors. I wish I could rate this place higher, but the vibe sucked being lumped in with unstable drug addicts. Raving about their glorious drug use and insane escapades. The staff didn't give much of a shit when I was having a mental breakdown. I was told to find god or I might go home and hurt myself. Talking to a therapist was like pulling teeth too. Music therapy was amazing, though. Best therapy program in a emergency setting. Was genuinely a pleasure listening to them play. Clean up your program and you will genuinely be the best I've been to in oregon. Edit: After my most recent stay I'd say the acuity split is better, but the nurses station got less efficient and tied up with red tape. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Palumbo this time. He was a real gem. He went above and beyond his duties. Best doctors in Portland hands down. Adding another star going from 3-4 because I see progress in their program and they take people very seriously and address issues immediately unlike other places. This would be my #1 choice of venue when in a severe crisis. I'm hard to please, and these guys pulled that off. Give them a chance.

PEOPLE stop leaving bad reviews bc of the hospital, this isn't the hospital it's a group therapy organization that's run out of the hospital. Adapt+ is by far and large one of the greatest group therapy organizations I have ever been in. They are a hybrid IOP and PHP organization, providing both scheduled group therapy and partial hospitalization. All of the counselors and psyciatrists are compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and professional. They are one of the only programs I have been in where feedback was given and actually taken into consideration and eventually put into place. I really cannot recommend this place enough, they are truly amazing. People wonder why mental health is so bad in this country. I can confidently say that Adapt+ is not contributing, instead choosing consistently effective mental health treatment over money.

Im only giving 5 stars because the staff here is nice and they listen well and always help out when my husband has stomach episodes. My husband and i came in again today first time in a few months he's gotten sick like this, he has a cancerous cyst in his esophagus that causes issues with his stomach so he’s on a special diet until we find out what triggers him. Sometimes he eats something that sets him off and he ends up puking and dry heaving until he cant stand and he can’t keep any fluids down so i bring him here to get an IV with fluids so he doesn't dehydrate! The doctors, the nurses, the medical assistants, everyone here is wonderful they always listen to me and do great with him. What saddens me is today i was in the waiting room with him and there was a hand full of people staring at him while he was puking and dry heaving, and making comments and telling people not to sit next to us because they thought he was contagious even though i had clarified he is not and that its a pre existing condition. It became so uncomfortable to the point i wheeled my husband into the hallway and waited there and stood in front of him so no one could stare. Everyone in the waiting room didn't even show signs of being sick, no one was coughing or puking or pale or had any visible sickness. They all just sat around on their phones chit chatting and staring at my husband and making comments, and half of them got into a room before my husband who is in agonizing pain. One of the women in there kept announcing that she had cancer, and was even being disrespectful to the staff, and talking down of the staff saying no one here knows how to do their job, she offered me these odd candies for my husband and I politely turned her down and she immediately caught an attitude. Y’all need to grow up. Im sure if you were in my husbands position or my position you wouldn’t enjoy that either. So folks think before you speak.
