Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride. The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. They challenged me, listened to me, and gave me advice and suggestions I have taken to help me soar. If you're struggling, you don't have to do it alone. I would highly recommend this program for any man who is having trouble with addiction and needs to turn his life around. Thank you, Tree House.

My decision to attend treatment was one of the most important decisions of my life and I could not have made a better choice than Treehouse Recovery. This was my first time in treatment and I was terrified while researching places to go. From the very first phone call, the staff at Treehouse made me feel heard, supported, and helped to ease my mind that help was available and change was possible. I could tell from the initial conversations on the phone that was a place that truly cared for each and every client. That same empathetic and welcoming attitude was expressed and carried on at every other step of the process. Embarking on the treatment journey was a time in my life marked by fear and uncertainty but with Treehouse, I knew I had the best support possible and was certainly in great hands. Before Treehouse, I was living a miserable and isolated life and desperately needed help to get back on track. Throughout the course of the program, I was able to find a strong sense of discipline, integrity, and perseverance and as a result, rebuild myself into the best version of my self that has ever existed. Treehouse’s wholistic approach to treatment empowers each client and arms them with the skills and tools needed to sustain a lasting recovery. If you are ready to work hard and make some lasting changes to better your life, Treehouse is the best possible choice you can make.

Recovery is rarely a straight path. For me, it was marked by multiple attempts—each one beginning with hope and ending in frustration. I wanted sobriety, but wanting it and sustaining it were two very different things. Each setback carried shame, doubt, and the quiet fear that maybe lasting change just wasn’t meant for me. Six years ago, everything shifted—but not for me at first. It was my husband whose life was saved by Treehouse. At a time when things felt beyond repair, they stepped in and gave him not just support, but a real chance at living again. Watching his transformation planted a seed in me, even if I wasn’t ready to fully act on it yet. When I finally completed my own inpatient program, I was fragile but hopeful. Through my husband Treehouse met me right where I was offering suggestions for a straight transition into sober living for women, giving me a safe and structured environment where I could begin to rebuild. For a full year, I worked on myself in ways I never had before. During that time, Treehouse didn’t just check in—they actively supported my growth through their family program facilitating weekly therapy sessions that helped me understand myself, my patterns, and my path forward. Their presence didn’t end there. Years later, Treehouse was still standing beside our family during one of the most challenging chapters of our lives—our court-mandated reunification. They ensured our son had access to therapy, advocating for healing not just individually, but as a family. Their continued support reminded us that recovery is not a moment in time—it’s an ongoing journey, and no one should have to walk it alone. Today, I can say with certainty that Treehouse has been an integral part of our success. They didn’t just help us get sober—they helped us build a life beyond what we ever thought possible. A life grounded in stability, growth, and connection. Some organizations provide services. Treehouse became something much more. They became our support system, our foundation, and ultimately, our family.

Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above.. Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. But this place plants seeds that lead to a life of substance free Bliss!! The acupuncture in the AM and evening AA/NA Meetings meant everything to me.

VANCOUVER CTC IS THE BEST MAT CLINIC FOR OPIOID ADDICTION. END OF STORY. Real talk, in all seriousness, I couldn't say enough positive things about Vancouver CTC. They were apart of my story at my lowest low, and I genuinely credit Angela, Ken & Teresa (if you've been or end up going, you'll know who I am referring to) for helping get me back into recovery and helping change my life. Today, I have 130 days sober and am rebuilding my life. That aside, I cant thank the staff at VCTC enough for the positive impact they have made on my life. Honestly, I could list them all, every staff member is incredible and perfectly fulfills their roll. I've been to 5 other MAT clinics, and honest to God, VCTC is better than all 5 combined. This recovery program changed my life. Another Chance helped me get into sober housing my first day of treatment; the manager has now asked me to be the assistant house manager of that house, and I have been sober for 5 months now. This is all due to what I’ve gained from the classes at Another Chance. The counselors at Another Chance truly care about their clients and promote long term sobriety through community supports. Counselors teach through discussion based classes around psychotherapy, recovery, coping skills, and self sufficiency. The counselors work with each person to make their recovery “work for them” when it comes to making a schedule/requirements for their program. It really is so supportive and encouraging it makes me want to be there every day unlike any other program I’ve ever worked before. I encourage everyone to give this program a chance.

This place saved me. At first arrival, I was sketched out for sure. I was about to leave when two of the staff, Scott and John spoke with me and put me at enough ease to check in to the detox facility. I had so much trepidation but once I was in, I was so happy I stayed. Each and every one of the staff is amazing! From the nurses who are awesome(Boo especially), the BHT’s who genuinely care and go above and beyond to bring as much comfort as possible during my stay, to the therapists and medical clinicians, all were a huge part of my recovery. Even the C level, Bethany was present and available when needed. The food was great and regularly improving. The beds were comfortable, rooms are basic but everything that is needed. The room I was in had a Roku tv so I was fortunate but from what I heard every room will be getting one which is nice to be able to be able to secluded myself when I wanted and just zone out to shows to pass time. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this facility for any detox needs. -CDK

The Women's recovery center is absolutely amazing. From the facility to the food to the best staff I've ever gotten care from (and I've been to treatment more times than I care to admit), it's just wonderful all around. I honestly want to go back as an employee someday just because I love them so much. There isn't one person on staff that's uncaring or rude or hard to get along with. They all love the work they do and it shows. They listen to everyone's unique needs and do their absolute best to accommodate what they can and if they don't there's a darn good reason for it. The schedule is great, not too much but not too little.. the food is incredible, you get to go to the YMCA and go for walks with Go the Distance, they take those that choose to go to church.. I just can't say enough good about them. I still call and check in and they get excited to hear from me and are cheering me on but I've relapsed in the past and had to go back and they welcomed me with open arms. No shame or judgement at all. It's honestly the best treatment center I've ever gone to and would highly recommend it to anyone..

The Lifeline Women’s program has done so much to help me on my journey to recovery. Through the classes and peer led panels at Lifeline I have gained a support system that will continue to help me on my journey. I love the staff, it is a group of individuals who absolutely care about every single woman who enters the doors. They take the time to get to know each patient and their needs. You will have the opportunity to visit one of the medication assisted centers to get on either Methadone or Suboxone, you will have access to mental health counseling which includes equine therapy, you can visit the dentist and the doctor while a patient. All of your needs will be met while you are a resident at Lifeline. You will even get the opportunity to earn a nice pair of walking/running shoes, a new sports bra, a medal and a certificate after completing 10 “Go TheDistance” walks.

PEOPLE stop leaving bad reviews bc of the hospital, this isn't the hospital it's a group therapy organization that's run out of the hospital. Adapt+ is by far and large one of the greatest group therapy organizations I have ever been in. They are a hybrid IOP and PHP organization, providing both scheduled group therapy and partial hospitalization. All of the counselors and psyciatrists are compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, and professional. They are one of the only programs I have been in where feedback was given and actually taken into consideration and eventually put into place. I really cannot recommend this place enough, they are truly amazing. People wonder why mental health is so bad in this country. I can confidently say that Adapt+ is not contributing, instead choosing consistently effective mental health treatment over money.

Im only giving 5 stars because the staff here is nice and they listen well and always help out when my husband has stomach episodes. My husband and i came in again today first time in a few months he's gotten sick like this, he has a cancerous cyst in his esophagus that causes issues with his stomach so he’s on a special diet until we find out what triggers him. Sometimes he eats something that sets him off and he ends up puking and dry heaving until he cant stand and he can’t keep any fluids down so i bring him here to get an IV with fluids so he doesn't dehydrate! The doctors, the nurses, the medical assistants, everyone here is wonderful they always listen to me and do great with him. What saddens me is today i was in the waiting room with him and there was a hand full of people staring at him while he was puking and dry heaving, and making comments and telling people not to sit next to us because they thought he was contagious even though i had clarified he is not and that its a pre existing condition. It became so uncomfortable to the point i wheeled my husband into the hallway and waited there and stood in front of him so no one could stare. Everyone in the waiting room didn't even show signs of being sick, no one was coughing or puking or pale or had any visible sickness. They all just sat around on their phones chit chatting and staring at my husband and making comments, and half of them got into a room before my husband who is in agonizing pain. One of the women in there kept announcing that she had cancer, and was even being disrespectful to the staff, and talking down of the staff saying no one here knows how to do their job, she offered me these odd candies for my husband and I politely turned her down and she immediately caught an attitude. Y’all need to grow up. Im sure if you were in my husbands position or my position you wouldn’t enjoy that either. So folks think before you speak.
