My child recently went here for serious depression and suicidal ideation. The program is very intrusive and requires both the family and the child to be fully open and honest. In our experience it was not an easy or light experience. But the alternative was losing my child and I was not willing to do that as no good parent should.
The staff there all treated my child very well . I assume this would vary depending on how the child behaves but my kid is a good kid and is respectful. The place looked reasonably clean but this is a psychiatric facility so not nearly as sanitary as a hospital.
The program gave me my kid back and helped our family out in so many ways but it requires a lot of work on everybody's part and it is in no way shape or form easy. But if you work the program and continue the program on an outpatient basis as well it does work. The staff are dedicated , friendly , respectful and caring and as long as you're kid and family is respectful to them and work the program. This program saved my kid and helped my family through one of the hardest times in our lives and I will be forever grateful to have them in our lives.

I came here in 2013 when I was 13 years old... I'm a 25 year old grown autistic man. I had a rough time in 2013 because I was getting bullied by my former classmates and then I got myself sent to Bradley. 12 years later... I got my own YouTube Channel, my own job, my own apartment and stuff that I always wanted on my bucket list. I'm building my own future and working on my dreams. I learned that in life it's better to be on your own. Because this world is too evil for people to understand our feelings. I pray for the people in Bradley for a happy positive future. <3

I have got a good support system with them I have not been stressing knowledge of being able to see somebody whether it's 2weeks or similar I enjoy Dr. Wold paying attention to me and my medical condition and I am keeping to keep my anxiety to a minimum but I don't know how yet I have a major case of ADHD which should have been treated as a child but wasn't,I have had experienced becoming disabled at a young age and marrying my soulmate which I lost this current year and reaching out for Mental Health was very difficult. I was lucky to find Dr.Wold. Thank you Cheryl for helping as well I am trying but knowing so many experiences I wish to be completely vanished out of my mind is beyond difficult. Thanks for the share

I come here for my psychiatrist and my counselor. Both are fantastic. The staff is courteous and helpful. Its hard for me to trust anyone, and I don't really like people or them telling me what to do, (anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, suicidal thoughts (2005),and for years wouldn't leave my house). Thankfully my psychiatrist is working with me on my issues

There's a man named Joey that works there and he is just the light of the building. He is so nice and has an amazing heart and he's genuine not doing it bc it's his job. The facility overall was excellent. While there are a lot of unnecessary rules — many of which even staff don’t consistently enforce, often for good reason — the experience was still overwhelmingly positive. The exceptions were the two or three “storm-trooper” staff members who seemed more focused on rigid enforcement than on helping patients.
The kitchen staff, however, were absolute standouts. The food was consistently on point, and the team ran things like true professionals. Reagan, Kevin, Marvin, Shannon, Jay, and either Ralph or Phil were cool as ice. These guys should be running the place. They were strict, but always fair. If any of them were giving you a hard time, you probably earned it.
I want to give special recognition to Reagan and Kevin — genuinely two of the most authentic, sincere people I’ve ever met. I read a review saying the staff in recovery didn’t know how to handle addicts, and I STRONGLY disagree. In my experience, the staff members who were in recovery went above and beyond for patients multiple times, even in situations where they risked being reprimanded for helping.
My only real complaint is consistency. Either dial back some of the rules, or have the “storm-trooper” staff follow the lead of the standout team members above — because those guys truly embody what this place should be about.
I also want to shout out Jay one more time. He helped me out in a major way and he really didn’t have. All you guys. Keep doing what you do!

Zinnia is a special place. It's very clear to see that the staff aren't just doing this for a paycheck. The love that was showed to me during my stay was unparalleled. I had in patient treatment in late fall. The AD Care facility was great! It was clean, very nice & comfortable place to stay. The food is very good and the cafeteria was clean and has a great onvionce.
The staff are all very friendly and address your needs with a smile. The staff tends to all your needs and go out of their way to help you. The programs are thorough. They treat you for your physical ailments you may be experiencing as well as psychological aspects of your life. It is truly a all in one treatment facility. They are definitely spot on for the treatment one may be seeking.

So for my experience this far it has been very very awesome. I am looking forward to my recovery here and experiencing what has yet to come. I'm sad that I cannot explore the woods and that they do not have an art room but Nicole expressed that an art room is coming. Eventually I may be able to visit the creek. Been on liquid handcuffs for 3+ years finally starting to decrease my dose, this place saved my life they’re awesome and don’t treat you like an addict. My only complaint is they should make it easier for take homes. I don’t understand why they don’t give everyone 1 weeks worth and if the patient messes up then take them off. I feel like if I git take homes right away I could have winged myself off. Because yes Dr’s know a lot and a lot more than me but I know for a fact I know my body better than any doctor. Had a six day visit on the 4th floor. The groups were productive and helpful. The mental health support team was very thuro. I wasn't a fan of the food or lack of cleanliness in group bathrooms. The nursing assistants were hit or miss based on engagement and cell phone usage. The facility should put a policy in place removing cell phones from the floor. If our disabled veterans can't use their own phones, why should we / they constantly see the floors "care team" on theirs.

My first experience at this hospital. I went in for the company mandated flu shot. I don’t do well with needles. I looked at the wrong time and these two lovely nurses caught me before passing out. They spent over a half hour with me. Constantly reassessing vitals, got some sugar in me. Elevated my legs to help with blood flow. They kept me laughing with a good sense of humor. WOW cannot say enough good things about Ocean State Recovery! I was drinking and drugging for 12 years and if it was not for them, I would not be sober today. I had never tried to get sober and was skeptical if it would be possible for someone like me. But through their group sessions led by their talented staff with encouraged client participation in addition to 1-1 counseling, I am a changed man today. Some days were really hard - the counselors can smell BS a mile away and will really push you hard, but it's because they care, they believe in us, and we need to be pushed if we want to choose a better life for ourselves. The owners are phenomenal people who led some amazing groups and brought in incredible outside speakers. The case managers and other staff (Steve, Victoria, JP, etc.) are also super friendly and very knowledgeable about alcoholism, addiction, and how to navigate daily struggles.

Had day surgery here and I am extremely impressed by their sanitary protocols and surgery prep. Not only was everything clean and sterile from the divider bed curtains to the grout on the floor.
