I had abusive parents and was an epileptic. I loved every minute of being there. They helped me with my emotional feelings and taught me that it was okay to feel the way I did about being abused by my parents. Back then we had units that we were placed on. I was on the "debs" unit. We had the best unit leaders going. I'm 62 now but I will always remember them and their names, because they were the only people that validated my feelings and emotions and told me I was okay. I still today have friends from way back then. I appreciate everything that Bradley hospital did for me and I will never forget that they took care of me when nobody else would! Carol Malloy 1 month ago I spent a good part of my childhood there from 97 and on I lived there on and off for months years weeks they helped me in so many ways I see I’m now using as a adult dr. hunt was my main dr and I am so thankful he was and for all the people in the children’s unit and craft unit from back in the day as a child this was my home away from home I felt safe there and the staff helped me in many ways . Brian Mackey 5 years ago I have got a good support system with them I have not been stressing knowledge of being able to see somebody whether it's 2weeks or similar I enjoy Dr. Wold paying attention to me and my medical condition and I am keeping to keep my anxiety to a minimum but I don't know how yet I have a major case of ADHD which should have been treated as a child but wasn't,I have had experienced becoming disabled at a young age and marrying my soulmate which I lost this current year and reaching out for Mental Health was very difficult. I was lucky to find Dr.Wold. Thank you Cheryl for helping as well I am trying but knowing so many experiences I wish to be completely vanished out of my mind is beyond difficult. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. Cristina is a superlative therapist who is as intuitive as she is attentive. She offers valuable perspectives to those who may be lacking in some regards due to their own specific, personal struggles. For patients in their 20s, she offers relatability in spades, which was comforting for a patient who presented as worn down, isolationist husk of a human being. I was fortunate to finish the PHP program and to be quickly referred to her as my first therapist. The management is extremely helpful and the wonderful front desk lady Samantha will stop at nothing to make sure you are taken care of! If you are considering treatment and need some form of help, but do not want judgement, confusion, or elevated anxiety, I would personally recommend this place. As a peer, member and volunteer, I have been given a voice and a seat at the table.
