My time at treehouse recovery changed my whole trajectory in life. It’s rare that anyone give themselves a chance to hit stop and spend 3 months dedicated to only growth and healing from the past. I will always look at treehouse as the pivotal point when I decided to do what I needed for myself. I can’t stress enough how amazing this program is. I have seen so many men come in different stages of spiritual decomposition and leave glowing and empowered with new purpose and strength. 100/10.

Tree House Recovery PDX saved my life. I hit a new rock bottom during the holidays. I was reluctant to going to a typical, 30-day, institutional rehab center like I did over the summer because that didn't work. But then I saw that Tree House was a three month program with a focus in physical exercise, writing, and learning to work as a team. My expectations weren't met -- they were exceeded. I recently graduated on April 3rd and am a better man now than I was before I started using and drinking. I've learned how to be empathetic, hold myself and others accountable, find gratitude in my daily life, lean on my teammates during times of struggle, and how to celebrate little and big wins in my life with healthy pride. The staff is amazing too. Rob, Nevin, Doug, Bryan and Kevin are all great men who are now role models in my life. They challenged me, listened to me, and gave me advice and suggestions I have taken to help me soar. If you're struggling, you don't have to do it alone. I would highly recommend this program for any man who is having trouble with addiction and needs to turn his life around. Thank you, Tree House.

Oregon Trail Recovery is an addiction rehabilitation center in Milwaukee, Oregon. They offer various treatment options like detox, intensive outpatient care and sober living homes. They are Joint Commission accredited and are known to deliver superior quality and personalized care. Their medical detox is facilitated through their partner, Pacific C
I came to Oregon Trail Recovery Services not as someone unfamiliar with addiction treatment, but as someone who has spent more than 15 years working in the behavioral health and substance use treatment field as a counselor, clinical supervisor, administrator, and advocate. That background gave me a unique perspective. I know what quality treatment looks like. I know the standards. I know the difference between simply providing services and truly helping people heal. When I arrived, I was also a man who had experienced the devastating consequences of addiction firsthand. I had lost pieces of my life that mattered most, including precious time with my children. I entered treatment humbled, broken, and determined to rebuild my life one day at a time. Oregon Trail Recovery has exceeded every expectation I had. The greatest strength of this program is not simply its curriculum or structure—it's the people. Every single day, I have been met with kindness, compassion, encouragement, and accountability. The staff have an incredible ability to challenge me while never making me feel judged. They have celebrated my victories, helped me through difficult moments, listened when I needed someone to hear me, and reminded me that recovery is possible even on the days when I questioned myself. What stands out to me most is that I have never felt like just another client. I have felt seen as a person. The staff genuinely care about each individual's success, and that care is reflected in the countless small moments that often go unnoticed—checking in after a difficult group, offering words of encouragement, celebrating milestones, laughing together, and creating an atmosphere where healing feels possible. As someone who has supervised treatment programs myself, I pay close attention to culture, professionalism, and clinical quality. Oregon Trail has created something special. Their staff consistently demonstrate integrity, empathy, patience, and clinical competence. They don't simply teach recovery—they model it through the way they treat people. Throughout my time here, I have participated in intensive treatment, recovery planning, peer support, 12-step work, parenting education, relapse prevention, and ongoing clinical services. More importantly, I have begun rebuilding my confidence, my character, and my hope. The tools I am learning here will continue to shape my recovery long after I leave this program. This experience has also reignited my passion for the behavioral health profession. Rather than allowing my relapse to define me, Oregon Trail Recovery has helped remind me why I dedicated my life to serving others in the first place. It has given me renewed purpose and strengthened my commitment to continue my own recovery while working toward restoring my professional credentials. Recovery is about so much more than abstinence. It is about learning to live honestly, reconnecting with yourself, repairing relationships, finding community, and believing that your future can be different from your past. Oregon Trail Recovery is helping me do exactly that. I am deeply grateful to every counselor, peer, worker, support staff member, and person behind the scenes who shows up every day for people like me. The work you do cannot always be measured on paper, but it is reflected in lives that are slowly being rebuilt. Mine is one of those lives. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in me during a season when I desperately needed people who would. Your compassion, professionalism, and unwavering support have made a lasting difference in my life, and I will carry what I have learned here with me for years to come. — Clayton Kammer

Counselor nodded out on me 😆 I like to believe he was on methadone or Suboxone but he literally asked me how long he was out when he came to. All while talking about super personal information... I've been there three times... Not since the 90s old location .. thank you Lord above.. Another time the guy had the exact same line "don't you want to go to the ocean and throw your girlfriend in it type of shit 😂" same guy ten years apart it was beyond memorable. But this place plants seeds that lead to a life of substance free Bliss!! The acupuncture in the AM and evening AA/NA Meetings meant everything to me.

Our experience with Crestview Recovery Center exceeded every expectation we had. The level of care and compassion shown by the entire staff is truly exceptional. They didn't just focus on our daughter's recovery—they genuinely cared about her as a person, treating her with dignity, respect, and kindness every step of the way. What impressed us just as much was the support they provided to our family. Addiction affects everyone who loves the person struggling, and the Crestview team understood that. They were there for us throughout the entire process, offering guidance, encouragement, and reassurance far beyond what we ever expected. Garrett, who helped us through the admissions process, was outstanding. His professionalism, patience, and compassion made an incredibly difficult time much more manageable. He worked with us over an extended period, helping us navigate insurance and ensuring everything was in place so that when our daughter was finally ready to seek treatment, her admission to Crestview was seamless. Garrett also took the time to help me process the emotions that come with having a child battling addiction, offering thoughtful guidance and support that I will never forget. On the day our daughter arrived, Zoey, her counselor, was remarkable. When our daughter wanted to leave, Zoey met her with empathy, patience, and understanding. Her ability to connect with our daughter and help her choose to stay was nothing short of extraordinary. The care, thought, and dedication that every person at Crestview Recovery Center puts into helping individuals and their families is beyond measure. We are deeply grateful for the role they have played in our daughter's recovery journey. If you are looking for a recovery center where people truly care, I cannot recommend Crestview Recovery Center highly enough.

My son was treated at Crestview Recovery, they made him feel very comfortable to accept his alcoholism, which he has never done in the past. They also taught him tools to sub-due triggers that make him turn to alcohol. They kept us in the loop every week to his progress with updates and information for when he was released, for him to continue his journey of sobriety. They got him on the medications he's needed to maintain his mental heath problems as well, that also contribute to his addiction. I truly believe if it wasn't for all the help he received at Crestview Recovery I think my son would still be struggling with his addiction in a destructive manner. I will always be very Grateful to all the staff at Crestview Recovery.

This is a good place to begin your journey and general understanding of what it takes to walk the path of getting clean and bettering yourself as a person. The owner understands the sacrifices, costs, risks, and determination it costs for her Center’s patients to begin that path of getting and staying clean from their substance abuse. They are interested and understanding. The same has to come from the patient though and not just their end.

Best emergency mental health place around portland. Brian Esparza is a genuinely nice guy and tries harder than 85% of doctors. I wish I could rate this place higher, but the vibe sucked being lumped in with unstable drug addicts. Raving about their glorious drug use and insane escapades. The staff didn't give much of a shit when I was having a mental breakdown. I was told to find god or I might go home and hurt myself. Talking to a therapist was like pulling teeth too. Music therapy was amazing, though. Best therapy program in a emergency setting. Was genuinely a pleasure listening to them play. Clean up your program and you will genuinely be the best I've been to in oregon. Edit: After my most recent stay I'd say the acuity split is better, but the nurses station got less efficient and tied up with red tape. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Palumbo this time. He was a real gem. He went above and beyond his duties. Best doctors in Portland hands down. Adding another star going from 3-4 because I see progress in their program and they take people very seriously and address issues immediately unlike other places. This would be my #1 choice of venue when in a severe crisis. I'm hard to please, and these guys pulled that off. Give them a chance.

SLO Recovery Center is situated in Portland, Oregon. This drug rehab center specializes in treating drug and alcohol abuse. It provides patient centered care focusing on treating the entire person through therapeutic interventions during addiction recovery programs. The SLO Recovery Center recognizes that drug and alcohol addiction is a complex
Your journey will be begin via a phone screening with an administrative person who will have you set up a time to come to the facility in person. Once you're at the center you're greeted by an intake staff who will ask you about your current drug and alcohol use, housing situation, family situation, court cases and that sort of thing. They'll ask about your insurance situation but most of the clients here at Spark are on the Oregon Health Plan - so you're totally covered for behavioral health! This process takes about 1.5 hours or so. Once your insurance is approved you'll move to the scheduling area where a staff member will get a pulse for your interests, strengths and weaknesses in treatment and try and augment the programming that is tailored to you! The programming is two different classes per morning. For example "Anger Management" or "Art. If you're in need of immediate housing (currently on the streets or in an emergency shelter) the agency will set you up with a bed in a sober living house completely FREE of charge. The center partners with local agencies who will do same day placements. Men's and woman's houses are separate. There is an Oregon City house and a SE Portland home. They'll work with whatever makes the most sense for you! Most of the houses will have a blackout policy meaning no cell phone for a week, and no leaving the house unchaperoned by another house mate (trust me this flies by!!!) Transportation is always provided from sober housing to the facility. They're in 18 passenger vans and come roughly between 8am and 9am 5 days a week. You'll arrive at treatment around 9am and hangout in the milieu area (living room) drink coffee, mentally prepare for the day and go to your assigned group at 9:30-10:45. There is a coffee break at 10:45 till 11:00am- and you'll have group #2 until 12:15pm. The coffee is pretty good (Folgers) with cream and sugar. UA's are random and occur twice per week at the PHP level - check your name on the board and just hit up the UA techs located in the obscure office next to the couches. They'll take you to a restroom where you give your sample! At 12:15 you'll get a hot lunch. It ranges from a Cafe Yum bowl, to a burrito from the local mexican joint. Pizza is always on Friday's! and it's Dominoes. This lunch is completely free of charge and included in treatment. The Afternoon group starts at 1:30pm until 3:15pm (it's a longer lunch) but a good time to unwind. You'll meet with a main counselor every single week to discuss how things are going and putting together a discharge plan and certain treatment goals. You'll also see the in-house physician the first day or second day in order to get medications that'll help you along the way. This doctor will not be your PCP however and you'll be required to obtain your own as a condition for graduation. Outside of groups at the facility there is no outside meeting minimum although some housing providers may require some for their own policy. Every Saturday a peer support specialist will pick folks up on Saturday for an optional AA meeting in the local area for convenience! Every single Wednesday there is a group outing to different activities in the community. This ranges from bowling alley's to the pumpkin patch in October. Lunch is provided before the van leaves and it's a Jimmy Johns turkey sandwich at 10:45 - the van will depart for the field trip around 11:15-11:30. Before the activity starts however you'll be transported to the URS club out in east county for this really awesome AA meeting - seems boring at first but it's a good meeting! All of this stuff will happy like clock work five days a week for about 4-6 weeks- at which time you'll "step down" to IOP level of care. This is held in the evenings instead of the morning and there will be no more hot lunch, activities but you won't have to wake up anymore for that van! The UA's go down to once a week and it's a color system so be sure to call in!! The IOP evening classes at 4:45-8:30-8:45ish - it just depends. After 90 days or so you will graduate!

Staff was great, counselors have been there before and understand addiction on a personal level, food was good. Classes every day, meetings half the week. Only complaint would be strict policy on phone usage, I understand the reasoning behind it but still frustrating. If you are respectful and mindful you won't have issues with most guests but 85% of the guests while I was there are ex cons so some can be a little rigid and immature in their thinking. If you really want to recover and focus on yourself this is a good place to do it.

This place made a big difference for my child, and that is all that really matters to me. I will say, they could have HUGE improvements in parent involvement, parent education, and family therapy. At times, they seemed almost anti- parent, which seems to me to be a strange approach to recovery. My ex and I were left on completely different pages as to next steps for our child. They should take a note from Clementine which has great support for parents. But, my child is doing well, and I'm thankful.

Wanted to thank the staff and everyone who was in here at the same time as me. I didn't come here entirely on my own free will, but because I was kind of cornered into it by my therapist. And I wasn't happy about putting my life on hold to be here. But now I see why she really wanted me to go. I had no previous experience with programs like this and didn't know what to expect. And you can bet I doubted everything every step of the way. I still do in some areas. But the longer I was there, the more I saw a difference and realized why things are done the way they are. I got a lot out of the program in the relatively short time I was there and have seen a big difference in my eating and thinking. And also in my physical health and brain. My memory has really noticeably improved and so has how I feel physically. And I've felt so much calmer and happier compared to before I went in. Turns out eating consistently helps you not feel like you're in fight or flight all the time, who would have thought haha.

My therapists at Woodland Park are awesome; some of the best I have ever had. The desk staff and security guy are awesome as well. I feel loved and accepted and unafraid to be my authentic self. Plus they hug which I need so much. It is a safe place for me.

I spent a lot of time researching treatment programs. I ultimately chose Center For Discovery because I felt comfortable with the person I spoke to on the phone and because they had open spots available right away. My inner critic said "Why do they have open spots? Is no one going to this place?" The answer is that lots of people are going to this place! And those are the people I spent every day with for the last three months. Going in, I wasn't sure what attending treatment would be like (it's kind of like hanging out with people who understand you, eating meals together, processing feelings, and working on goals) or where treatment would be (it's in a big building with other businesses) or how it would feel to share my inner most thoughts about food, weight, and body with others (it is scary, but also freeing!) or who would be there (lots of different people, ages, stages in life, gender identities, fashion choices and hobbies HA!) Basically, I had a lot of questions going in and I wasn't sure this would be worth my time/energy/money/family stress/etc. It sounds cheesy, but what I found was so much more than I could have imagined for myself. I will miss all the staff and friends I made. I will miss all the games we played at meals and all the inside jokes and crying from emotions but also crying from laughing so hard. Thank you to Paige, Ailis, Alana, Kim, and Jodi for being part of my journey and helping me see the best parts of me.

To anyone considering coming here for treatment - do it. The other reviews posted during COVID are not representative of how the facility is now (not to mention they have never put anyone into "quarantine," it's not even that kind of facility). It's not perfect, nothing is, but this program, the staff, and the others in program with me changed my life. But, it took time. Plus, there are tons of post program support. I still miss the connection I felt with everyone there. It will be what you make of it, so give it a shot and embrace it. It's worth it.

Cielo was suggested to me by my residential treatment center because of my interest in spiritual and wholistic based healing. Cielo’s counselors and facilitators work with us to heal the root cause of our addictions in a way that honors and validates our experience without sugar coating the harsh realities we face. This balance works for those ready to accept and challenge old patterns and ideas. The thing I liked most about Cielo was the groups, and how they were facilitated. I healed so much and having spent four months there, hardly did I see repetition in the material that was presented. There is of course always room for improvement, and Cielo is prepared to listen and engage with one’s comments and concerns through client advocacy groups and in the moment. It is clear that at Cielo, everyone working there has their heart in the work. <3

I came to Cielo like a lot of people do, broken down discouraged, low self esteem and not too trusting. I’ve been through treatment many times and this place was something different. The clinical team and staff there are amazing. It really feels like family and if you are ready for a change they are amazing at helping you along the way. Through the work and help there, I’m getting back to a place I haven’t been in a very long time and for that I’ll be forever grateful!
