About Sahara Behavioral Health

Sahara Behavioral Health is located in Chandler, AZ. They provide behavioral health services to address and treat addiction through transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and other forms of treatment. Treatment is available to children, adolescents, adults and seniors in need of behavioral health services.

They are located close to many natural landmarks including Los Altos Park, Fountain Park and Maggio Ranch Park. You can also access Highways 101 and 202 for access to and from your treatment.

If you are experiencing acute care conditions, they may provide you with medication assisted treatment (MAT) to assist in managing your withdrawal symptoms which may include cravings and overall discomfort. They will also simultaneously address your mental health needs through therapy. They will work with you to determine the root cause of your addiction through one-on-one counseling.

Pediatric Addiction Treatment

They also provide medication treatment for pediatric clients who are suffering from addiction. I find it good to know that they work with you and your child to address both their physical and mental health conditions in order to get your child on the path to recovery. They will also work with them to incorporate coping skills and nutrition into their treatment.

Addiction Treatment for Pregnant Women

I like that Sahara also has a program for pregnant women who are in the throes of addiction. They will closely monitor your medication intake to ensure your child and you are both safe and stable during your detox treatment from addiction to alcohol or opioids.

I love my doctor Roya Nayeri. Best one there is! Emily has been helping recently, I think she is now Roya’s assistant. I am very satisfied with Sahara Health.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

Arizona's substance abuse treatment centers can provide tailored treatment for individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Treatment programs may include medically assisted detox, 12-Step recovery, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare support. Addiction experts employ evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and talk therapy to uncover and reframe unhelpful patterns. By graduation, you'll have developed new coping strategies, learned new stress management techniques, and have the capability of sustaining your recovery.

Dual-diagnosis addiction treatment in Arizona provides integrated care for individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Services may include medically assisted detox, 12-Step recovery, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare support. Addiction experts use evidence-based therapies, like cognitive behavioral therapy, or dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused therapy, to simultaneously address substance use and mental health disorders. This comprehensive approach to treatment helps to ensure sustained recovery.

Charged me twice for outpatient and then the actual "30 minute" appointment which mind you was never actually 30 minutes. My appointments were maybe less than 10 minutes. Now I have a bill over 400 dollars for charges that shouldn't be two different charges. ESPECIALLY if my appointments were never near 30 minutes like the bill says. To add on top of that, theres a random "adjustment" charge after insurance went through. Don't waste your time here.

I don’t understand why they have 1 phone number for every location and all their providers. I don’t understand why if you press 1 for appointments the phone will ring and then hang up. Why is there not an option to leave a message if lines are busy. Why during their lunch hour, there’s no option to leave a message? You have to call back during office hours to what, not get your call answered? You will never be able to reach them, the only luck I’ve had is using their billing line to speak with someone (they don’t like it but you’ll at least speak with someone)

You will NEVER be able to get them on the phone. Joined the practice just days ago and needed prior auth for meds and had questions. Would wait 30-45 minutes on hold and no one would pick up. Called all times of day. Sent portal message - No response for days. Terrible feeling when you're between docs and unable to get the care you need OR connect with anyone.
