The staff was professional and kind I would like to point out the excellent kindness of the ladies in the assesment office. It is hard these days to find people of their quality and caring. I am from California, I spent 3 months at the facility. They definitely over charge you for treatment. Their facilities aren't the best....however there are some people here doing almighty work. One such person is Hakim. He is a counselor here. He is a good man with a good heart, he cares about people. I wish he would transfer to California and be my counselor there. He really helped to see many things in a different way. He's very passionate about his patients and the job he does. I would guess they don't pay him nearly enough for how valuable he is to this facility. I hope to see Hakim again one day. There is also Jay who is often the only nurse in the dispensery. A great guy and always has a kind word. I'll miss these guys very much....they probably have no idea how much what they do impacts people's lives....or maybe they do. Either way folks like them are rare in today world.

This is a response to the last review I see, the lady with a small star on her icon. Methadone is a safe medication, it stops withdrawals from illicit opiates and does not get the person in treatment "high", which allows the patient to get their lives back. Please educate yourself on methadone and methadone treatment centers.

Obviously the people saying "one addiction for another" has very limited understanding of this treatment and addiction. Yes, this treatment can take years. This verses cold turkey/abstaining is night and day with success rates. Or I like to call that the "just pray about it and hope" method. BTW it doesn't work. If it did, nobody would have an addiction. These people complaining are still failing drug test and trying to play the system. Eventually u have to admit defeat and surrender to ur recovery and stop trying to use illegal substances by counting days till ur testing is done or sneaking in urine or basically trying to manipulate ur recovery process. I promise u will get out of recovery what energy u put into it as well . Yes, there are a couple nursed that seem to not get we r patients and we pay thousands of dollars a year to be there and yet they treat us as if we r at the dmv. One is down right rude and doesn't even look at us. She will not speak to us u less ahe has to. We will not miss her when she goes we just really hope she leaves soon.

They dumped me off at the bus station, knew I missed a bus, contacted me and told me it was my problem anyway, there's one nurse there that works at night time I don't know her name, but she's from France. She is so nice on hand she does everything she can to help everybody make everybody feel good only because of her, I'm giving you all 5 stars only because of her, the counselors there are terrible. They don't care about you or maybe it's racism. I don't know once again. I'm going to say there's a nurse that works at night time. She's from France. She's the best only because of her. Hello, I was a Resident here for almost 2 years and I left 2025 June 27th, When I first got here it was rough, yeah and sure there was staff that weren't there for the kids and were there for the paycheck, but then you have the staff that were supportive and took time out of their day to talk to us and supplies while still remaining professional. I will like to give a shout-out to Derrick Falls, James Green, Jennifer Updike, Kayla Wentzky, Renee Little, Allison Clifford, Curtis Barnes. And Holley. Personally I see all these other reviews from pass residents and it does disgust me because all you have to do is follow the program and do what you are told. Also the food is great, this place could have served us residents crap if they wanted too. But overall, this place will break you, and rebuild you, but it's up to you how you want to be rebuilt.

On 11/14/2025 at approximately 3:30am My IV machine started beeping, I notified the nurses station because the machine had actually been beeping for a very long time. I was out of IV fluids and they said they would send someone..Nurse Danika came in told me that she would be back with another IV fluid bag.I also told her I was on pain...it is now 6:45am and she still haven't came in my room.I unhooked myself from the machine and set it outside the door.. Shouldn't have to do that. The machine has been outside my door for over a hour and no one has came to check on me or the machine.. Very unprofessional....When I put the machine in the hallway, someone stopped the machine from beeping and someone stated that he's tired of the beeping and so are we and they started laughing...I was very humiliated...And from this point I really don't feel that my care is in good hands ...My first night staff was awesome with the nurse, Ashely & the tech, Elizabeth taking great care of me and my wife... 5 stars to them both!!. ....But the next night staff with the nurse, Danika and the tech, Jullianne was awful. With this experience, due to the inconvenience, the inconsideration, and the humiliation, I am not going to use this hospital again..No stars is what I would give.

I don't leave reviews... so the one and only review that I will leave will be for the place that gave me a hope when I had none. I went to this facility July 9, 2018. One of the instructors there said that he had never relapsed and when he picked up his chip he wasn't going back to have to pick it up again. This challenged me... I have been sober for 6 years now. This facility taught me surrender. It taught me humility. It gave me a soft cushion to land while learning these lessons about the terrible person I was. It offered me a hand to help me up... most of all... it gave me a plan of how to live and never get back into the condition I had gotten myself into. I carry the Big Book with me everywhere I go in my van with my now 3 children. I am a child of God, I am a wife, and I am a mother. Thank you Owls Nest Recovery... may you be proud of the difference you make in the world. You are making sober soldiers that carry this message to others. God is moving in this place... keep it up!

This place has assisted me in turning my life around. The people that work in this place, engage you ..challenge you to become a better YOU. Their programs are true. When taken seriously can rehabilitate your addiction mindset...I've been there twice. The first time...i didnt take it seriously checked the boxes..minimum participation....slid my way through. My life fell apart and ended up there again . ..court orders aside...an open door.. IS AN OPEN DOOR! I took it seriously and it helped me find peace and a sense of who I was amidst everything I had done and tools to become better. To those two individuals whom have had to deal with me when i attended their program...I thank you immensely.

I've been a patient here three times. The nurses and counselors are really nice and down-to-earth. They are friendly and like to cut up. The food is delicious and better than most cafeterias serve. The techs act professional and help is always available. There are groups that are mandatory unless you're ill and bedridden. (This is a detox.) There is a dayroom where you can watch TV and play board games, cards, or socialize. There iis a selections of books on display to choose from if you're a bookworm. A TV is also in your room, which is even more cool. Cell phones are prohibited. There is no smoking. You can request a nicotine patch. Counseling is optional. Visitation is available on a certain day during your stay. Overall, I recommend this facility. BRUCE HALL IS TERRIFIC!

I am absolutely 💯 % pleased with front desk staff, nurses, and the particular doctors I visit here. Dr. Friedman my pain doctor does acupuncture and Dr. Rothmeyer is excellent Chiropractor. I have been seeing both for awhile now, I honestly didn't think Acupuncture would be as amazing as it is, Dr. Friedman is awesome! Thank everyone that works here for the outstanding service you provide!

I had an appointment for a blood draw today. Great check in procedures and Covid19 screening. Very pleasant and young lady who checked me in. As I waited in the waiting room, I sat at a social distance of 6-feet from the front entrance check in. I had no other places to sit because of the 6-foot social distancing guidelines. I saw each patient coming in and I couldn’t avoid hearing there names and last #4 of their Social Security Numbers. (Not good privacy), but what astonished me was the amount of Veterans who came in that didn’t even have an appointment just to stop in and drop things off for their PCM’s, or had questions, or wanted to talk about their health...hello, we are in a Covid19 and I couldn’t understand why there isn’t “common sense” being used, or not understanding that you just can’t drop in. I’ve ALWAYS have had great service at this VA-Trident clinic from the laboratory and they’ve always have been in time. When I did get called back, I was asked how I was doing, and I replied not well today! Ms Luz, responded, “that’s good”! I said, why did you just say that after I said I wasn’t doing good? Ms Luz (name badge said her name and that she’s from PERU , and she said that’s it’s just natural to say that. Well, I don’t think that this is a natural reply, and if you really ask someone how they are doing, listen to that persons response, and respond with sincerity. That’s why I gave a 4-star rating today.I
