After numerous hospitalizations and 4 prior treatment centers, Rivermend Health's Bluff Plantation in Augusta was a vital turning point in our son's life. Staff and programs are refreshing and hands down more effective, holistic, professional, communicative, and involved than any others. They passionately work with patients and families to change lives. The follow through with support programs for depression and substance abuse is unprecedented in 10 years of struggle. A neurologist named Kristen, a nurse named I think Adriene, and a technician whose name I can’t recall at the moment, were especially helpful in expediting matters so that all testing and care would be completed so that I could be released in a timely manner. That manner being so that I could be home before a major storm occurred. For that I am truly thankful to those three ladies that were working on 01/24/2026, in particular and to Aiken Regional Hospital in general.

I what to Aiken Regional Medical Center ER with chest pains and tightening in my chest I was very pleased with the service that I received from the Regista until the end of my Service. The staff that was working on 02/05/2026 after 3:00 pm was "Johnny on the spot". Very knowledgeable and worked together as a team to take care of my heart condition, that could have easily when into cardiac arrest. Again I say "Thank you", I can't remember all their names, but Tanisha was one of the nurses and the ER doctor was Meikle, maybe misspelled, but that entire team was my hero in comforting my daughter and taking of me. ❤️🙏🏽

I have been going here for a very long time, this place is not perfect but I can easily say the Current Program Director (Ms Christina) and the nurses (Jo and Shelby) have really done Alot to fix the issues. Before this director there have been times where the wait was over 5 hours! It no longer is like that, she's very nice, the counselors I have encountered are also nice and tend to help. I give the current staff a ton of credit, dealing with really difficult patients and fixing the wait time issues, It's not perfect. I'm sure they're still fixing things but I could definitely say that this facility is so much better than it has been in the past. Great job to the

Hi I want to start off by saying this location has been down to one nurse ms joy to dose today and 2 the last several days and they have been putting in extra hours to make sure every one is getting there meds the director and ms Alisha was also helping cause wait time is 5 hours these workers all deserve a huge shout out and a raise for keeping there cool and fretting everyone out and passing out take Homes to those who get them I’m very thankful!!!!thanks to all the staff !!!!!!! we do recover

People who understood me and my problems. Then I was handed the book and my life changed. After my time there I’ve helped a few men myself get there lives back the same way. Absolutely recommend this treatment facility, staff was amazing, never ate a bad meal, and feel like I got what I have been searching for for the past 20 years. Oaks Recovery saved my life and my marriage! My husband went to The Oaks in September 2024 and I followed him to Willow House 2 months later. Seeing my husband be restored through working his program at Oaks Recovery I wanted what he had and I knew where to find it. Oaks Recovery is a SOLUTION based treatment center for substance and alcohol abuse! Beyond that The Oaks has definitely become family and home to us. My husband is 6 months clean and I am 4 months and counting. The staff is phenomenal! This place helped me so much! I was there for around 7 months back at the end of 2018-2019 i even completed my GED there. And now im married and expecting my first baby. I couldn't be happier. Yall completely changed my life. The staff are so caring and the principal there was awesome! And my therapist Anne was perfect for me i couldn’t of asked for a better one! Excellent immediate care for my 19 yr old daughter who was having a severe mental crisis. The associate took us to a room and listened to our concerns then had a team meeting to formulate a plan of action. Today, one week later, we had a meeting with the intake psychologist and a treatment plan was devised. The fantastic front desk person coordinated the various appointments and furnished appointment reminder cards for each one. Mr.Peele the intake psychologist was superb as well!
