This place has been a life-changer for my son. He recently completed the twelve month program after years and two near death experiences due to substance abuse. He voluntarily chose to go because he literally had nowhere left to stay. The Foundation took him in and gave him structure and stability as well as a program to start a new sober way of life. My son was one of the children here and they would take away the privilege of being able to speak to your friends being able to buy things and getting food that your family sent you in the mail thus place is the biggest joke in the world it is not a Christian facility they practice Christian things but I know for a fact that a staff member slept with my son he was 15 yrs old of the time of him being in there the staff member was married with a child and he was excited about being there and doing the automotive trade he was mistreated and so there for he ran away but when they caught him they beat him (the police) when asked why he left he said they would punish him for things the same thing other kids were doing as well as give other kids his food I spent money on while down there when they were packing his things my son has servel expensive shoes servel nice pairs of name brand shoes and they gave them to the children when we went to gather his belongings they're excuse was they didn't know where he put them he's told me stories about this place this place is using the government and thesis children as a paycheck and if you think your child will be safe coming here you are very mistaken that place is a huge joke when he came home from the facility after getting out of rydc he still had cuts and bruises from where they let the other children beat on him

I've been going here for over twelve years altogether. I've found every person working there to be thoughtful, attentive, understanding, and wholly involved and committed to the successful recovery and/or development of their patients to be able to live a more self-sufficient and self-satisfying life, as free from the horrors and pain of mental illnesses.
In order to get the very best care along with the very best results and treatment, it's important to become your own best advocate. You must speak up and out and let people know what kind of issues you're dealing with, and what kind of path you'd like to take through the journey to healing and recovery.
The staff at the Hartzog Center have always encouraged me to be the primary person in charge of my care and treatment. They've always listened to my needs, been incredibly supportive of everything I am trying to achieve, and have always been terribly easy to talk to, and to get help from when designing my own personal treatment plan.
If you want good care, you've got to be a great patient. Nobody can read your mind. The staff at the Hartzog Center in North Augusta definitely care, and always support and encourage every patient to be involved and be proactive with the choices they make towards furthering their treatment goals.

This place helped me when I was going through a tough time. I didnt really like the guy counselor as he seemed cold and disconnected but the woman was good. The doctors got me on medication that helped when I had gone other primary cares who didnt know how to cope with mental health or what works.

Before I found this place I was in a dark place in my life with my addictions. The night before I found this wonderful new family I have now, I was ready to give up. I was never much of a drinker but they welcomed me with open arms and accepted me as I was. I now know I was a Alcoholic in my ways, we are share the same feelings, emotions, trauma and depression that controlled our lives that lead us down a road of despair. LRADAC’s Outpatient Program was absolutely amazing and truly helped me change my life. From the beginning, Brooke, who placed me in the class that was the perfect fit, showed genuine care and understanding that set the tone for everything that followed.
My counselor, Arianna, was beyond incredible. Everyone in my class would agree she was made for this work. She poured her heart into helping us and genuinely loved what she did. She had recently gotten married and was starting a new chapter in her life....Then, in a moment that shattered us all, we walked into class one day and were told the devastating news: Arianna had been murdered by her husband, who then took his own life.
The pain was unimaginable. Continuing the program without her felt impossible—but we knew Arianna would have wanted us to push forward. And with the strength of our group, and the incredible support from the staff, we did just that.

Columbia metro treatment center (New Seasons) has been a Joy to work with. Many people I know have mentioned how the services New Seasons has provided has improved their lives exponentially. They genuinely care and have a lot to handle and they handle it very professionally. MAT can be utilized for great things. It can bring someone to a stable point in their lives, so that they can start their recovery process without having to be in a problematic state with use.
Often times, when folks who’ve had issues with substance use/misuse they are not able to hold down a job, their use affects other area’s of their lives, myself being a recovery coach, a peer support specialist I’ve seen so many people have a new leash on life once they’ve got the chance to utilize the services that New Seasons provides. They make sure that you take accountability, being that you are responsible for getting there to get whatever medication the individual chooses. The nurses, and counselors, along with the director are extremely compassionate and supportive of individuals who may need a little more support than others.

The Dr explained why other treatment wasn't working for me and got me where I need to successfully complete treatment. Metro uses an app on your phone where you can pay/check in. I don't have to wait in a line and give personal information in front of others in treatment. Metro made me comfortable by giving me privacy to personal information. None of the other centers care about privacy. I even get my treatment behind a closed door. The staff Counselors/Nurses/Pharmacist/Director go above and beyond. I have never shared anything this personal but I felt others need to know what help they can offer you. I can't say enough good about New Seasons on Chris Rd West Columbia. I was a patient for 3 years in Charlotte, NC at New Seasons. The difference is nite and day. The new director Carol is an Angel. I can't say enough good about her and the changes she has made here. She is so compassionate and caring for all of her patients and staff. She has an open door policy and no matter what she is always there to listen and help clients as well. I truly feel so welcomed and know the great staff here are here to help you. I have the best counselor I have ever had in all my life. All the counselors are good and Carol only chose the best for us. Addiction is a disease. These people are here to help you, and guide you to the help you deserve. Mo is one of the nurses here and so informative and helpful. Always have a smile on her face.

Excellent immediate care for my 19 yr old daughter who was having a severe mental crisis. The associate took us to a room and listened to our concerns then had a team meeting to formulate a plan of action. Today, one week later, we had a meeting with the intake psychologist and a treatment plan was devised. The fantastic front desk person coordinated the various appointments and furnished appointment reminder cards for each one. Mr.Peele the intake psychologist was superb as well!

These people work miracles. Everyone is super nice, and patient. The IT professors are wonderful teachers, not just classroom directors.
