I've been going here for over twelve years altogether. I've found every person working there to be thoughtful, attentive, understanding, and wholly involved and committed to the successful recovery and/or development of their patients to be able to live a more self-sufficient and self-satisfying life, as free from the horrors and pain of mental illnesses. In order to get the very best care along with the very best results and treatment, it's important to become your own best advocate. You must speak up and out and let people know what kind of issues you're dealing with, and what kind of path you'd like to take through the journey to healing and recovery. The staff at the Hartzog Center have always encouraged me to be the primary person in charge of my care and treatment. They've always listened to my needs, been incredibly supportive of everything I am trying to achieve, and have always been terribly easy to talk to, and to get help from when designing my own personal treatment plan. If you want good care, you've got to be a great patient. Nobody can read your mind. The staff at the Hartzog Center in North Augusta definitely care, and always support and encourage every patient to be involved and be proactive with the choices they make towards furthering their treatment goals.

The Hartzog center has enabled me to make leaps and bounds in maintaining a functioning stable lifestyle. Shameka is a wonderful person who genuinely cares about her patients and considers them a friend as well as clientele. She is truly a remarkable person. I highly recommend this center ; the staff is professional, friendly and they provide quality, affordable healthcare for all.

This place helped me when I was going through a tough time. I didnt really like the guy counselor as he seemed cold and disconnected but the woman was good. The doctors got me on medication that helped when I had gone other primary cares who didnt know how to cope with mental health or what works. Front desk is whatever but they're not the ones who you're there to see

Saved my life, I attended and graduated inpatient and outpatient This is only a program for people who are ready to own their mistakes and take accountability for their addiction, if you can not do that, this is not the program for you. My question is “how bad do you want it?”

Excellent new facility! Im so great full for the government! Staff in the lab were so professional and very up beat Eric was the first person whoever drew blood and I would have never known had I not watched. Excellence in the Medical field right there Thank you Eric!

This place is awesome. I've only had one bad experience and that was while been locked up in the mental treatment ward the first time but other than that it's been great including my 2nd visit to mental ward. They are very professional and caring at this hospital.

Air hugs for all you do.. valet parking folks are kind & quick, love the red coat service, Chaplin is so nice. Women's clinic fabulous. Not sure how all the specialties keep up with everything. LOTS of stuff. Smiles and compassion are priceless for all.

WOW!!! What a wonderfully blessed place.. a special place; that as soon as u pull into the driveway , the Presence Of God just envelopes U!! This place & This woman: Stacey Carroll, are both miracles. The much needed structure is within their daily schedule, the term "downtime" isn't an option. The program is packed with classes equivalent to course studies, the Biblical Teachers are knowledgeable with an understanding if the Bible, the atmosphere is one of "kindred spirits".. like that of king David & Jonathon.. or Ruth & Naomi. What is said here, stays here. Stacey Carroll is one the most pure hearted women of God I have ever had the honor to be around. She walks it.. like she talks it!! Backs it up daily, she was more than a role model or an example to me.. she has & is a "big sister" to me. I am an Alumni of Shalom. I stayed at the " farm:" for 9 months, then to the Shalom halfway house until my Motherb had a 2nd massive stroke that killed her swallowing reflexes.. Jesus took her home 1 week to the date of the 2nd stroke... Had I been out there using atthe time of hrb stroke & passing..I know I would inintenionally overedosed. Stacey took me under her wing & I almost bought a house in Belton.. It is 59 minutes Stacey from my place to u!! I will be texting you I a few.. I made you a Peach, with Graham Crustm mixed berries, almonds, chocolate & strawberry syrup with Cool Whip for the top.. I have ftozen this pie.. God willing you will have time for me to bring that pie over today and I will get us some pizza but I have a 10 minute that's running behind and he's got some small children so I got the pie down though do text me back you will have my number or you should and I'll holler at you this morning I've been working a lot at night I'm a certified caregiver and I can do sign language, also. But I have been so crazy busy in this business because there have been three different Court battles headed my way I will be able to retainthat piece of property.. we will talk soon.. love you.. praying for all of you please keep me in your prayers also.. Linking professional competency, care and compassion. Not so easy in healthcare today, but from my family’s recent experience I’d say all three were far above our expectation while at Prisma Richland Hospital. My 33 yr old none verbal, non ambulatory daughter was transported last week to 10 West. During her 5 days there we experienced an incredible staff that took extreme pride in their patient care, presented themselves with positive attitudes and behavior that was refreshingly compassionate. Too many exceptional professionals to mention, but I truly mean ALL staff members: charge nurses, techs, dietitians, doctors and neurology team, lab techs and others. Each day I kept thinking, “surely one person is going to let us down, approach with a terrible attitude or appear to not want to do their job”. That never happened. Not once. We are home with hearts full of gratitude and thankful for putting our trust in Prisma Richland.

Did a pretty good job of patching me up after a serious injury requiring 13 stitches however they had me thinking my pain was going to be long term or for the rest of my life the moment they took out the stiches my pain hen stretching went away

The nurses and doctors are great; I’ve been all throughout this hospital at this point. Especially the pediatric emergency room, who I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of getting familiar with due to my kid’s chronic condition. Those ER doctors are top notch and I’m extremely thankful for all that they do. They (and the nurses) do a great job of keeping the atmosphere positive. There are some downsides. The parking situation is atrocious. If I had to go to the main building or the children’s hospital next door, it’s sometimes a quarter-mile walk from the car, if not more. ER parking is also very limited. The admissions process in the main building (5 Medical Pk) is odd. It’s very cramped and they seem primarily like a debt collection service, with actual assistance being secondary. Like they’re gatekeeping medical services until they’re satisfied that your balance is paid. Very “corporate America healthcare”, if you will. E.g., you go through this whole process of sitting down, meeting some admin person in an extremely cramped room who goes through this whole script, just for them to say “oh, you don’t owe anything! Take the elevator to the second floor”. They always seem to have contemptuous attitudes (I suppose I would too in that role, though). Regardless, I’ve never seen this in any other hospital. It’s strange and makes me question the hospital’s priorities. They also seem very understaffed for doctors and nurses in some areas, while other offices are fully staffed. I totally get it, but it’s worth mentioning. Plenty of admin staff tho! The security guards can be… less than professional. I’ll set off the metal detector at the ER and they don’t even get off their cell phone, but just wave me through 🤷‍♂️. Don’t try to use the “wrong door” though. Only time I’ve seen them do anything security-wise is straight up screaming at people if they try. Must moonlight as TSA agents, lol. Negatives aside, the doctors and nurses are fantastic. Admin side is hit or miss.

The staff is great! They make me feel very comfortable and safe. I haven't been there in years so I noticed they have a security guard there, which is good for their safety. I was asked if I needed a PC Dr and I did, I now have one. It took about a month but I finally got my first actual well care check in about 8 years. Super happy about that. They listen and help when I have concerns about my medication, they fix the dosage when I have concerns, they truly are life savers. I can get out of bed and brush my teeth, wash my face, do my hair, and care for my plants. I used to not be able to do any of those things because my mental health was so bad. I'm so glad they are here!! Thank you Advantage!!

They have upgraded there service love it they have new programs like CST and others you just have to ask and me polite is all

I just was in there for kratom problem they saved my life im out doing great with my beautiful grandbabys i want to live very caring and friendly staff i feel so optimistic for the future now thank yall so much!!i will forever be grateful to you all p.z im not a worker it was free service so they are very limited with gov money lol

This place helped save mine and my kids lives! When you walk in, you are welcomed with open arms, love, laughter, and a shoulder to cry on if that's what you need. True definition of warm and safe. I will always be grateful for this place.

Do not come here if you have probationer/DFCS evaluations to get done. When you call to set up your walk-in appt, the staff does not tell you that your case worker/PO needs to sign a request form & they will not see you if you don’t have it signed. Made my process longer by three weeks & was stressful. This not only happened to me, but to two other people on separate days. I had to come in the first time- was told to do a walk in assessment & was faced with this issue. I have yet to see the professional I was sent here to see, so this review is based on just the initiating processes alone- which are terrible & waste people’s time. ETA: The staff themselves in the physical building are all doing their best with what they can. Obviously the state of communications is a result of lack of support from the State & local government. I really enjoyed my time with the staff I interacted with & I wish the best for those who work here.

I have been coming here for about 2 years and Ashley is always super sweet. They have always been professional and they have automated calls to remind you of your upcoming appointments. I'm very sad to see such bad reviews on here. I guess the only people that bother with a review is the people who have bad experiences. They have helped me so much!

These people work miracles. Everyone is super nice, and patient. The IT professors are wonderful teachers, not just classroom directors. 5 YEAR UPDATE: the skills that I gained in the IT training center allowed me to get my foot in the door with accomplished engineers. Later, I would move on to even better opportunities. I now do VERY fulfilling work, and my life is completely changed from what it was before. Thank you again!
