What can I say? My stay at Gratitude Lodge was beyond my expectations. This was my first exposure to treatment so I was nervous; nonetheless, I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. ❤️ From the start, the house was definitely a second home for me having traveled from the Midwest. I was warmly received on the first night and settled in comfortably. So many staff members impacted my experience...from the start, Ryan, meeting my at the airport and providing sound advice for tlnext steps in my recovery, Peter for his fantastic music therapy sessions, James for his sincere commitment to my casework, Mario always for his listening skills, Trinity, Justin, Andrew...and everyone beyond.

Best experience of my sober life. I want to personally thank, Trinity, Justin, Mario, Ryan, Eli, Megan, Andrew, Lee, Kyle, James and Peter for everything and that they do. The best staff at any program I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to a bit over my fair share). They actually care, they love you and they truly want to see you succeed. A special shout out to James, for always and I mean ALWAYS being in my corner. A shoutout to Trinity for being my confidant when I felt alone in the beginning. To Peter, who listened to all my bullshit with a smile on his face and some music in the background. The best place to get sober and the best people to ever be around. Truly a sober environment, where you learn how to be sober. Not just get sober but BE sober. I’ll forever remember my time here with love, respect and of course plenty of GRATITUDE!!!!!!!

I had such a great experience here. I've been to alot of rehabs and I cant say the same for most of those. I didn't know if I wanted to come in or even be sober and James and Megan stayed out front with me for a long while, patiently helping me to make the right decision to come in and I am so glad I did. They have such a great team of people and I couldn't thank you guys enough. Shout out to James for always staying late and convincing me to not AMA lol i even decides to stay longer, you can tell he really pours his heart into his job and wants to help. Same goes for Megan and Ryan you guys are really the best.

My name is Colin and I’m an alcoholic and needed to find recovery for a better state of lifestyle and health. Design for Change provided a structured environment and reliable access needed for recovery. The routine, resources, and accountability offered a stable foundation for developing healthier habits and clearer direction. Overall, my experience was consistent with what the program aims to provide. I was able to focus on my goals, maintain sobriety, and utilize the structure as a stepping stone for my continued personal growth. As of November 18, 2025 I have maintained my recovery and am over a year sober from alcohol. Design for Change saved my life.

I want to start by saying to ignore any negative review on this place. I personally went to Rise at Mayberry and cannot say enough of amazing things. I’ve been to many different facilities over the last decade and this one has become family. I get emotional and want to cry with gratitude when I think about how the staff/clients have been there for me during the most difficult moments of my life. Everyone turned their back on me outside of here while they didn’t judge me and gave me a chance. Ron reminds me of my papa being the kindest man ever. He cares deeply about each client, is passionate, patient, generous, the list goes on. Lauren has gone above and beyond for me with all my legal issues making sure everything is done the way it needs to be. She listens without judgment and is always available to help me. Allison was so helpful getting me into this place and throughly explained all the services that’s offered here. She’s relatable and kind. Dr. Neesha is beautiful inside and out, intelligent, and a strong woman of faith. She’s so insightful and working with her as a therapist has been my honor. Not to mention the support staff are incredible. Josh K has also made himself always available to the clients and he’s helped me so much from his own personal experiences dealing with dependency court/CPS. Chris and Tim are also such an honor to know. Tim, with all his travel stories and passion for AA. Chris, prioritizing the physical fitness in sobriety. All their stories on how they ended up here are inspirational. God brought me here unexpectedly and it’s one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. I live in Orange County which has a lot of recovery and places to get sober, but i couldn’t be more blessed that I landed here. I’ve been here without my young children for a couple months now and I wouldn’t have been able to get through this difficult time without everyone here. I’ll never forget what’s been done for me ❤️ addiction is a lonely disease, allow them to help guide you to a solution.

If you need Detox/Rehab, this is the place to do it. The staff is fantastic, the therapy is top notch. The food is prepared by professional chefs and the food is incredible. All the patients have their own rooms and bath rooms. You may not want to leave.

Really enjoyed my stay, i completed CPR a few months ago and it was difficult being away from my home in NC but it turned out to be the best thing that happened to me. I now have 6 months of sobriety and I'm enjoying being back with my family and living this new way of life. My favorite part about being here was the staff, community and the great living near the beach. Much love CPR.

When I think of California Prime it instantly fills me with so much peace! I came into the program a couple years ago I was a lost, scared, insecure broken woman with addiction issues that were ruining my life. . Through out my stay I learned so many skills to change my life. The facilitators and staff are genuine, caring, compassionate, and informative. Today I have my life back! I'm a mother involved in my kids life, I manage a hair salon, I have a strong relationship with God, and thanks to Cali Prime i have coping skills to work through life's hard times that I will use the rest of my life. This place goes above and beyond for its clients. Let’s just say I’ve been there more than once on my road to recovery. The staff have become my second family. They have an alumni person that’s reaches out to clients to follow up after treatment and I call her my guardian angel. Numa is a wonderful facility helping many people suffering from the disease of addiction. The staff truly cares and shows the utmost attention to detail. I would recommend to any family member or friend!!!

I’m at a crossroad in my life where I finally acknowledged I needed professional help for my drinking. I called the 1st number I googled. It landed me with Profound. I just finished my 30 days in California at one of their incredible homes located in one of the most prestigious areas in Los Angeles. The home was nothing short of amazing. The staff was top notch and all have been in my shoes. They were very easy to talk to, and the environment was comfortable and accommodating. I was not anticipating going to another State for treatment. They covered my flight there and back. After finishing my 30 days, I now feel equipped with what I need to stay sober for my family and myself. Thank you Profound for giving me sobriety and a new outlook on life.

If you are ready this is the place to go, the staff is out of this world they care, they love and they want what you want. Take the leap and you will not regret it. The food is amazing and the location is beautiful, you are treated as an adult that is looking to better their selves. The Staff and facilitators go above and beyond.

Opus is amazing. I came out to California from Missouri for treatment and wasn’t expecting much, honestly. However, the staff at opus were incredibly kind, caring, and listened to my needs when it came to my treatment. This place is fantastic!

I attended Opus Women Rehab more than once and each time I go there I feel like I’m stepping home. Staff is amazing, accommodations are comfortable and classes are educational. Staff if very kind, loving and care for you as an individual. At opus you get a therapist, medical staff, case worker and a small group of housemates. On weekends we get out to do activities to bond and it’s great! I would highly recommend coming here because they do help change your life and are there to help celebrate the wins!

Great place for women to learn grow & recovery

I recently found out that a family member was struggling with addiction. I was so lost and confused on where to start. Thankfully Conor at Pacific Sands was one of my first calls. He made me feel heard and understood exactly what I was going through. He gave me really great advice and knowledge on addiction. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go with them because of insurance reasons but, he was very helpful, attentive and reassuring. If pacific sands is anything like Conor than I know anyone who comes here will be in great hands.

This place was amazing, very friendly staff who helped me through the tough time. I was given all the necessary tools to recover and get my life back on track. I hope I never need to go back to treatment again, but if I do I would definitely go back to Pacific Sands.

I have enjoyed my stay at the Hollywood Hills Recovery Rehab , I must say they are very professional here and clean very caring as well. I appreciate all that the staff has done. Special mention to Christian he is very friendly and on top of his game. Picked me up directly from the airport with no trouble whats so ever. If it wasn't for parent care I would have never been able to get my kids back or be the better person that I am today! Revive was a great experience. The first week was rough for myself but after finding a balance within myself and being able to attend groups I was able to acquire the tools I needed to maintain my sobriety.

If you are nervous, hesitant, conflicted about getting help or helping a loved one get help, there isn’t a more warm-welcoming & safe place to be. All catagories you can possibly think of that would make a treatment center perfect, is exactly what Enlight Treatment Center is. I came immediately after being at another treatment center & I was terrified. When I made calls to get in somewhere, the person who answered was more concerned with my well-being than my wallet. My first day there, I was crying & I remember sitting with a counselor, Kristin, who I asked if everyone who worked there really cared & she along with every single staff member there proved just how much they cared. In fact, they really all went above and beyond to help every individuals needs in recovery. When I was near the end of my stay I was certain I was going back home right away. They helped me feel safe to try out sober living and it completely changed my life. Remember, employees are replaceable, if you’re worried about “needing to get back to work,” things will work itself out, trust the process & the staff. They have the purest hearts. I’m forever grateful for every single one of them.

I’ve have referred many people to Enlight for detox and residential as well as for mental health treatment, and let me tell you, lives are being changed lives are being saved. I’ve been working as a recovery coach for almost 15 years, worked with many different treatment centers, none of them are like Enlight. I’ve had client sent to Enlight from all walks of life; rich poor employed unemployed, people who worked to unions and blue collar men to lawyers and nurses… this is the only place I trust to be able to take care of my folks in addiction. I trust them for many reasons but mainly because they have 3 doctors on site who will see you in person as opposed to other centers who have one doctor who will see you on zoom (if ever). The team at Enlight is as experienced as it gets, most of the staff themselves have been through addiction and really treat this job as a passion. I have sent over 100 people to Enlight for detox from alcohol, Xanax, ketamine, Cocaine, Fentanyl, Heroin, Marijuana, Whippets, Adderall, Methamphetamine… you name it. Many of these people were dual diagnosis, meaning they had both mental health issues and addiction. Most of my clients that I’ve sent to Enlight are sober now! Enlight really knows how to Safely medically, detox, and set up the foundation for future success in sobriety. Love you guys. Shout out to Chef Carlo, homie is a wizard when it comes to making food. My first experience with anything drug related happened at age 58 when my husband decided to torpedo our life by smoking meth. Laguna View saved him from himself. He said the sounds of crashing waves from the porch gave him peace and helped him focus on what he had to do next. The staff was caring and the facility was very clean. He said they went to the beach, bowling and meetings several times a week. He highly recommends Laguna to others who need detox.

The team approaches care with genuine compassion and professionalism, creating an environment where real healing can take place. Okay let's start from the beginning back in January of 2025 I completely lost my mind due to alcoholism. I reached out the first steps and they help me not just once but twice get my life back together I lost everything and now 6 months later after my second shot going into first step recovery I will have 6 months clean as of the 26th of this month November. I want to give a special shout out to Jessica from first step recovery who helped me numerous times the facility in El Dorado hills is very clean. And they care I think that's what separates them from the others. Thank you so much for step recovery.

I haven't gone here, but I would like to say that the intake specialist I spoke to when I called named Doug is an absolutely amazing man. He not only answered every question I had, but he also gave me sound advice and kind, supportive words that have really helped me in this process. Even after finding out that I would be attending a different facility, he has been there for me with support and help in any way he can and has kept up with me every day to see how things are progressing for me. Absolutely outstanding individual who clearly cares about people and is interested in their wellbeing and not just in getting them into the place he works for. Doug, you are a kind, caring, empathetic soul and have made a big impact on me and my journey through this process. Thank you for all that you do and will continue to do for people who need exactly the type of person you are on their side when they are arguably at their worst point in their lives.

First steps is one of the greatest places you could ever end up for recovery. This place was my home away from home for my stay of 90 days the great staff made me feel so welcomed as soon as I walked through the doors. To the amazing chef Darryn at the oak house cooking 5 star meals to the tech staff some of my favorite were David , Andrea , Jessica , Francisco , Char , and Angie some of the best and attentive staff! The experience was made even better by my counselor Zack p. I was so lucky to have him in my recovery this place is one of the best and I recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction you will not regret it

Many of them are in recovery themselves, and that made such a difference — they truly get it. The environment was warm, nurturing, and safe — exactly what our relative needed to begin healing. The people there, both staff and other residents, were genuine and supportive. This is a place where real change and growth can happen. Their authenticity and care provide hope, community, and a new start.

I came to Clear a few years ago desperately needing help for my substance use disorder. They worked with my insurance but more importantly than that they worked with me. The staff genuinely cared about my achieving long term sobriety and it showed. Their employees were nothing short of amazing from Program Director to the team of therapists, case managers, nurses, and technicians who not only insured my detox was comfortable but made me feel cared for. Would highly recommend this facility for anyone struggling with substance use and or mental health issues of any kind. I wish I could leave more than five stars.

I have struggled with alcohol abuse for the last three years and this was the ONE place out of 23 treatment centers that finally worked. Nobody ever thought they would see me sober, but today I can say I am, thanks to Sober Life. I was a frequent relapser, just barely making it by, and when I decided to seek treatment through Sober Life a whole new world opened for me. The team at Sober Life cares. I felt valued, I felt empowered, understood and heard. After being in and out of so many treatment centers I found myself fatigued, but through my process with Sober Life I actually wanted to continue my program as long as I could. I WANTED to be there and I've learned a life I never knew possible thanks to the team there. I can say that this program likely saved my life, and showed me a new life that I could never have imagined. The support and understanding was beyond belief. I felt so safe there. I've made friendships with a lot of my peers from groups as well. Which I never wanted to do before. Recovery can be difficult to begin, scary to start, but Sober Life feels SAFE. I'm not the type to write reviews, but I know how hard I struggled and for anyone reading this or questioning a start, I highly recommend this team. I am eternally grateful for my experience there.

Sober life has been one of the best experiences in my life! I came in not really sure what I wanted out of treatment and scared to really connect with people and have them see me in my weaker moments. All of the staff at sober life loved me through these issues and helped me get to a place where I felt safe and comfortable enough to communicate what was really going on with me, and gave me the tools I needed to be able to deal with things as they came up on a daily basis. Anytime I was a little off or lost any amount of momentum, they noticed immediately and did whatever they could to make sure I continued my progress and that even though addiction is a lonely disease, it became a lot easier to believe I wasnt alone and recovery is possible. It wasn't complicated at all, they handle the insurance stuff for you so you can focus and prioritize your recovery over anything else. Kimberly, Dan, Ashley, and Kelley have all been huge grounding stones in my recovery, showing up every time and helping me make solutions out of chaos. Having all of these amazing, kind, and extremely dependable people in my life has kept me steady and also taught me what having people around who genuinely love you, want the best for you, and who celebrate your achievements and help you through your downfalls looks like. Like any recovery program, you have to want it and put in your own effort, but they make the weight just lighter enough that it seems much more attainable.

Bayside Marin is an excellent treatment center. At first, I didn't want to go here, mainly because of negative reviews and hearsay from an acquaintance, and corporate ownership. But I quickly changed my mind. I came here devestated by a very traumatic year of my life, in as much of a mental health crisis as I was in a substance one. Throughout the length of my stay, I was treated with understanding, patience and compassion. The bulk of their program is cookie cutter evidence based, but high quality. The employees at Bayside really care about their work, and their clients, and because of this it didn't have a corporate feel, even though they're owned by Acadia. What made this stay extra special for me was the therapy and one on one conversations I had with staff. I had the honor and privilege of working with the best therapist I've ever seen. When there's a true match with therapy it can be magical, spiritual. I have transformed into a better version of myself because of the one on one work with my therapist, whose intelligence, wit, patience, and compassion helped me to rise above and shine, despite facing some extremely challenging triggers in residential this time. When you can't fully care about yourself, sometimes you can borrow someone else's faith in you until you're able to care about yourself a little more. By the end of my stay, I felt more confident and centered than I had in a long time. I also wanted to say, the tech supervisor helped guide me psychologically and spiritually as I faced various challenges at Bayside, and helped revive my interest in spirituality, meditation and awakening. I had the best spiritual and psychological support I could have asked for, which I thought would be impossible after being at Olympia House in 2022. (Both are good rehabs with their unique strengths and weaknesses. I learned a lot at both, but they're not directly comparable, OH is a little more unique in terms of approach and programming. Bayside was extra meaningful because of the particular therapist I worked with, the behavioral technician supervisor I mentioned and the particular clients I bonded with. They actually listen to client feedback and I watched them make numerous improvements over the three months I was there. With that said, there is room for further improvement. Clients are shuffled over to the main campus from detox with very little explanation of where to go and when, which leaves freshly detoxed clients confused, angry, and feeling disrespected. I've been told they're working on fixing this problem. Scheduling glitches do happen, but that's true of any medium or large rehab. They do their best. And also, sometimes communication can be a little complicated between departments. No place is perfect. Gorgeous campus. Food was great. I was told this was a rehab for rich people who valued aesthetics over content, but that's not what I found here. They have some incredible talent working for them and client socioeconomic backgrounds are mixed. Last. I would encourage people, strongly, to ask to change their therapist if the initial assignment isn't a match. I did, and it made all the difference in my stay.

Went through EVERLAST recovery two years ago. I am not only still drug free but I now work as a case manager and counselor. I am so thankful for everything they did for me. Would highly recommend.

I was very satisfied with everlast recovery, there much different from other facilities such as not feeling like a hospital setting or feeling like a 5150 facility. Everlast treated me like family and so did the rest of the patients in there. Everlast gave me the tools to cope with my struggles of addiction and showed me how the sober life is the better life. Shane the counselor is awesome super good dude. Would highly recommend everlast recovery 💯

I spent 30 days at the Turrell house, and although it was my first time in treatment I believe I was meant to come to this place specifically. They did such a wonderful job welcoming me, the staff and residents really helped me settle in to the routines of the program. I loved every single group session we did throughout my stay, and i loved all of the outside meetings we went to every week, I learned so much, and I actually found my sponsor because of this program. They really care about every client individually and are very attentive to specific needs. I loved working with Katie as my case manager, she did an amazing job. I cannot say enough good things about Windward Way! I had reached a point in my addiction where I was headed down a slippery slope toward losing it all. Through my higher power, my family was able to see I needed help and helped me get in touch with Windward Way. From the moment I walked into Campus to this very day, I have felt nothing but love and encouragement. I didn't know anything about Rehab or treatment centers, but from talking to others they can be vastly different. Many putting profits and business over people and healing. Not Windward. Every person who works there truly cares about you as a person and how they can best help you in your journey. I felt heard and cared for. My case worker Jeri is top notch. Helpful, knowledgeable and most of all loving. There are too many techs to mention by name but each one was on par. The groups led by the facilitators were so helpful. Each facilitator brought a different style. Ken and his love for the big book, Kelly and her love of teaching us through art and inner peace, Chad and his ability to tell a story or set up a learning environment that draws you in intellectually. Tony is exceptional in just chopping it up, but always ensuring we left with a valuable tool. Otis and his ability to understand everyone in the room even given our vast age differences. Gerald and his desire to keep us involved in after care. My house manager Monica for truly listening to each housemates concerns, and I cannot forget my therapist Christina for all the insight she gave me into why I am they way I am. And last but not least the drivers. They each had a way of just listening to our chatter and somehow still teaching us skills and showing us care. I could go on all day! Love you Windward!
