I can’t say enough good things about RBH!! I showed up in October 2016 spiritual bankrupt Not happy to be there. Slowly but surely the staff and camaraderie between the residence help show me a a whole new way of life. Helped show me a new way of thinking an a whole new way of looking at the world. Gave me a solid foundation in the sober community in the lakes region which is where I still live today. I still feel very much part of the RBH community. I still have a lot solid friendships thanks to RBH and I love seeing the guys around town and at meetings. Lotta good memories!! Riverbank house definitely helped push my life in a positive direction and I’ll ever be grateful.

The experience I had at the Riverbank House changed my life forever in so many ways. I arrived at RBH in February 2016 and begrudgingly agreed to stay for 28 days, I ended up living there for almost 4 years because I just didn’t want to leave. The bonds and friendships I formed there still continue to this day. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity at a new life, and how to truly enjoy that life, that was provided to me by the Riverbank. My time at RBH was filled with compassion and laughter and memories I will always cherish. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but going to the Riverbank was certainly not one of them. I am grateful for every single me ever of the Riverbank brotherhood that I got to know during my time there, even that guy with the red beard.

Conifer Park mever ordered My NEEDED medication which caused a seizure. There's feces on the walls which they wouldn't clean, four people to a DETOX ROOM. It is no doubt the most disgusting place in existence. No food in the fridge or cabinets, just one loaf of bread to eat. The meals were so heavy it's impossible to eat while your detoxing with zero alternatives. It's all about the money and they obviously put NONE of their funding towards patients. I had to be sent to the hospital for the seizure where I was told point blank Conifer Park was negligent. I agree with the reviewers that said that the prescription refill portion of Bedford counseling is HORRIBLE!!! I don't see my doctor more than twice a year, and was told to call to have my rxs filled when needed. This is the 3rd time in a year and a half that my anxiety has gone up so much because of the lack of effort by the staff at B.C.. I've used the refill phone number, have spoken directly to people and have had my pharmacy call them. Thankfully I knew this was going to happen again this time, so I refilled on Tuesday, hoping to pick up on Saturday. This place was really able to help me when I had a break down a few years back after my dad died. Its not a bad place if you follow the rules and focus on your treatment. I have had many problems with doctors that just didn't care and was ready to give up I pushed his poor ladies buttons as hard as I could. And I was good at it. And from that point on I will say this lady has saved my life. It has been several years and I owe my life to this one lady at seacoast mental health. As he perfected the proper medication for me I have become such a better person in life more people like me I deal with everyday problems so much better. And my life has changed 100%. The program works if you work it. Just like with any other program out there, you have to put the effort in. No one can do it for you. Depending on your insurance you may be able to get a taxi ride to the clinic each day. No matter where you live. Do not let negative reviews sway you from making the decision to get clean. Portland, Maine | The Salvation Army Adult Rehab Center is a residential rehab for adult men in Portland, Maine. The Salvation Army actually has these rehab centers throughout the country too. This is a unique type of drug and alcohol treatment program. It’s largely a work therapy program so you’ll be working in Salvation Army facilities throughout your program | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Went to the Salvation Army right after receiving a calling from the Lord to follow Him while incarcerated. God used the Portland ARC to shepherd and led me deeper into my faith. Once a man lost in opiate, meth, and sexual immorality. I never thought I would escape this cyclical pattern of incarceration illegal activity and addiction now redeemed and a Servant Leader (mentor) at a neighboring Ministry. God desires to move in your life, you just need to desire to stop living for your own selfish desires. Matthew 16:25 "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." God is the divine creator not a cosmic killjoy, he gave you your innermost desires because he wants to fulfill them, you just need to stop living for them and live for Him. On our own our once good desires become over-desires and we twist the light in them because it becomes "all about me" and there is no love in that. Start living for God and you will be amazed at what he does with your life.
