I now have almost 5 months sober and I truly know what it feels like to be at peace with life. No longer do I feel like life is one big struggle between me and it. That s all thanks to my higher power that I was able to find at green mountain treatment center. You re probably thinking aw great he mentioned higher power this doesn t seem like the right fit for me. They do teach alternative treatment programs for gaining sobriety at green mountain treatment center as well. So if you aren t open to a higher power they will work with you to find a path that works for you and your individual needs. Make no mistake just like anything in life the journey is what YOU make of it. Great not for profit company thats 100% volunteer based company. They do a lot of great thing's in the community and for the community of York County. One of the amazing thing's they do is offer a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center free of charge to York County residents. They also offer a Men and Woman's Shelter in Alfred, ME. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They do an amazing job and I really hope they keep up the amazing job they do, do because they are truly the very BEST at all they do for the community and the people in York County. I'm happy to say I was once part of some of the things York County Shelter Program's do. They have forever changed my life for the very best and thats exactly what they aim to do is to better people and their lives. :)

Canterbury Behavioral Health saved my life. I stayed here for four months: 6 weeks in residential, 5 weeks in PHP, and 6 weeks in IOP. I do not regret a single moment of it.All of the staff here are incredibly supportive and kind, even in the worst of moments. I certainly lost my cool more than a few times, but the staff was always there to pick me back up. They never once abandoned me or made me feel anything less than their number one priority.Danielle was one of the most supportive staff here, picking me up during my many panic attacks. She was always there for me and put me first even when she was overworked, exhausted, or extra busy. Alongside her was a wonderful team of equally-capable staff including Ava, Lisa, Kyleigh, Jimmy, Bob, Victoria, Emily, and Corinne. I was referred to NFA for their IOP program after completing a PHP with Banyan Philadelphia. I highly recommend for anyone who needs help with their mental health. Living in the sober house in Concord and attending daily groups helped me get back to being human. I enjoyed the staff and group programs. My therapist was excellent and I felt heard and well cared for. The Psych provider might the best provider I ve seen thus far in all my treatment. After 54 days with NFA I am more confident, stable, and for the first time in a long time- hopeful.

I see so much hate being projected on the reviews here. This place honestly saved my life, This place and people are the Reason why I am off of dope. There are a few things that could change though,One of the crappiest Things Are, When you Finally Make it to the clinic,Sometimes on Saturday there is a Enormous line out the door all the way around the building. Other than that it's an amazing safe place.Well I forgot one thing. This is my 3rd counselor which I hope they don't keep leaving.

I know that this place has its issues but doesnt every place and or everyone in the world .i personally give this place a 5 star rating because this clinic is the only reason i am not using heroin any more and the people and the support here is the only reason i was able to get clean and stay clean and sober and get my son back as well thank you !!

This company,counselors,nurses and doctors are simply amazing. This place saved my life. I have no idea where i would be if I never sought treatment here. I just found out I was pregnant and needed a way out. They not only helped me and saved me but they saved my child as well. Hes 5 now. A healthy smart and active little boy. You can recover. Here I am 5 years later and I have never been happier.
