I lived there for over 6 months when it was a veterans sober house and most recently this winter. I really enjoyed my time there. The gym is incredible as well as the other indoor sport facilities. You’re fed extremely well and the staff is very welcoming. If you’re looking for a great place to start your recovery you’re in the right place! They’ve created such an amazing environment to recover in. The rooms don’t feel clinical at all. It feels more like a New England home. The basketball court and batting cages are pretty cool too. H. I constantly hear people talking bad about the clinic, and just putting it down. My thoughts would be that more then likely they probably would never open such a place of there wasn't proof of it working. Or should I say, if the success rate wasn't there. But anyways, in all reality, it honestly is what you make of it. You basically figure out how you want your goal of sobriety to go, with the help needed from the Doctor, Nurses, and the rest of the staff. Gave me a solid foundation in the sober community in the lakes region which is where I still live today. I still feel very much part of the RBH community. I arrived at RBH in February 2016 and begrudgingly agreed to stay for 28 days, I ended up living there for almost 4 years because I just didn’t want to leave. The bonds and friendships I formed there still continue to this day. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity at a new life, and how to truly enjoy that life, that was provided to me by the Riverbank. My time at RBH was filled with compassion and laughter and memories I will always cherish. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but going to the Riverbank was certainly not one of them. They treat children, teen	Treatments Programs Payment Options Dual DiagnosisMental Health Adult ProgramYoung Adult Program Self-Pay OptionsPrivate insuranceMedicaid	hi!! i'm 16 years old and spent 4 months at cedc concord. i know my parents were terrified to send me somewhere but when it came to the point where there wasn't a choice, i am so grateful that cedc is where i ended up. i can't put into words how much it helped me. it genuinely felt like a safe environment with the staff, clients, group rooms, and kitchens. none of me thought recovery was possible, all of me had accepted that my ed was my fate. cedc saved me, my family, and gave me a future. everyone was so patient and kind during a beyond distressing time. the meal counselor would sit with me as i cried and talk about taylor swift to distract me. despite the hell we were all going through we laughed so much and had actual fun and i made friends i know i'll always have. i cried probably everyday i was there, but on my last day it wasn't because of my ed. it was because i was going to miss these people (both the staff and other clients included) i had come to love so much. no matter what people tell you full recovery is possible and after going to cedc i have hope that i'll reach it eventually. i can't recommend this program enough. <3 Jess Speidel 2 years ago I give CEDC a five star rating. But don't make the mistake of thinking that you will be happy when a family member goes there. When you go through the treatment process, you will be alone, confused, helpless, frustrated and unhappy. However, what you need to know is that these difficulties are part of recovery. It is filled with knowledgeable people who not only understand addiction but have lived through it and maintained long-term sobriety themselves. They were some of the first people I could genuinely identify with, and they gave me something I desperately needed: hope for the future. The team at Green Mountain takes seriously the responsibility of helping each person find lasting and meaningful sobriety, but they also understand that you have to be willing to listen and do the work. If you go during the summer, as I did, there is plenty of land to explore, which is a welcome change from being trapped inside the same building all day. Sure, you could go to a fancy facility with five-course meals, draw pictures of your disease, and make trigger lists longer than a 900-page Russian novel of every experience known to man, or you could go to Green Mountain and actually be challenged to discover who you are, confront what needs confronting, and learn to go beyond yourself through service to others. There is more depth at Green Mountain than other treatment facilities for those who seek it, and I will always be grateful to Green Mountain and Granite Recovery for helping me discover purpose and meaning when I was at the lowest point in my life. Halcyon Caskey 2 years ago I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group.
