My wife had a stay at heartfelt a little over 2 months ago. I was always super nervous about having her and I separate and her on her own; I was beyond overjoyed when she told me about her experience and the family she gained in her time there- specifically Sheila and Maddie were very prominent in supporting and guiding my wife in the right direction. From detox to the three weeks at css, not once was I not cared for no matter what my needs were. . From every bht' ( shot out to Ari ,Navaeh, Jessica Andrea, jay , Megan, kaleigh and Caroline) to my case worker Nicole , the clinical team, especially lindsey and jenine, to the actual directors Kelly and Mike... Each and every step I took was guided and held sacred for the sake of what was best for my journey to freedom from the disease of addiction. The nursing staff is exceptional too, and the RN Leah is always on the floor personally checking in with each client at least twice a week ,so I never felt unheard or alone through any part of my detox to css. The groups are informative,consistent and really address the causes and effects that could create freedom or relapse. There is a commitment every night too!! The facility itself is luxury. And once I got to css I started to hit the gym!! sanity over vanity!! Movement is a big outlet for me! The food here is incredible, and they offer a salad bar for lunch , as well as food alternatives every day. I'm headed to further treatment, and am leaving Serenity feeling supported beyond words. This place brought me back to life. It started with my admission, I didn't feel judged, just supported, and I'm leaving feeling like Serenity will always have my heart and grateful it begin my journey to freedom!!!

Successfully completed IOP treatment with Ethan Green as my therapist. He was an amazing source of empowerment and strength in my recovery journey, his down to earth and human approach shatters any hesitation anyone may have to get treatment. I truly recommend this treatment center.

I started my sobriety journey at The Grainte House and I was scared and had no idea how I would live my life free of substances. The staff and case managers paved my way to be 104 days sober today. I can't say enough good things about this facility. Please save your loved ones or yourself and take the leap with them.

I'm over 5 years sober now and I've been working in the Substance Use Disorder field for over 3 years now. I'm actually creating an updated resource sheet, which is why I ended up on here haha. But I figured while Im here, I should post a review about my own experience. I went to Granite House back around 2020. My experience was great, I definitely had some ups and downs however the downs were 100% self induced. Although the staff and the group of people I was within were all incredible- I just wasn't ready yet at that time. I went to about half a dozen treatment programs throughout my addiction, but to this day I tell people "if you have medicaid and you're looking to go to rehab in NH - Granite House the best place to go." It is my first choice for referral out of all the treatment centers in the state! Its obviously been a while since I was there, 7 years or so, but I have had clients tell me about their recent experiences and they all say the same thing " Its like a big family. " I couldn't agree more! Thank you Granite House for your continued dedication to those who are in need of a safe, caring and trustworthy treatment center during their most vulnerable days. New Hampshire has lost a lot of good, helpful, and solid places over the past several years but to see you still standing and providing people with treatment is truly deeply appreciated!!! * If you're reading this - and are trying to figure out if this is the right choice... as someone who statistically was not supposed to and never should have made it out... my advice is ; Ask yourself what do you have to loose by trying? By showing up and giving yourself the chance? Compared to ... if you stay..? And don't even give it a try? We do recover - It takes time and its not easy - but nothing in life worth having, ever comes easy! You are more than worth it, so take the chance 🫶

I have been at this treatment center more than once, and I come back because it works. Everyone here is kind and helpful. Lara, Zhenya, and Jeff have always helped me and been supportive. Even if I am actively there in recovery or not. I would recommend this place to just about anyone for SUD and mental health :)

The combination of Reiki sessions provided by Lighthouse Holistic Healing and peaceful nature walks and hikes offered an invaluable opportunity to recharge both mentally and physically while reinforcing the importance of self-care in recovery. What truly distinguishes Woburn Wellness is its commitment to treating each individual as a unique person with unique needs. I’m two and a half years clean thanks to this place. To keep it short, I left detox and went to another facility that was extremely strict about AA and pushed it in a way that didn’t work for me. When I expressed that, it became an issue, so I chose to leave.. leaving was difficulty the other facility made me walk miles and miles before allowing myself a cell phone and left my stranded in the middle of nowhere. I got the courage after leaving to find another facility and CHOOSE NOT TO GO BACK TO THE LIFESTYLE I ONCE HAD. Finding Mayflower made all the difference. I appreciated that they allowed a more balanced, normal routine outside of meetings—you could relax, watch TV, do crafts, play basketball, and still focus on recovery. They also offered a different approach to sobriety that felt more supportive and personalized. What really stood out was the medical staff—they were always there when I needed them and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. This was my first time getting sober, and I’ve stayed sober ever since because of this place.. great food as well. I’m so thankful for this place because without them I don’t know where I would be today. If one place isn’t a fit for you in recovery please find the next place and do not give up!

would get 5 stars if one bht didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and didn’t act so hostile towards me. when this bht was working i felt uncomfortable to talk to her, or even do anything in front of her because she made it show she didn’t like me. but besides that it was great.

My son was 6 month's in Gatehouse Nashville came home for a couple weeks but was not ready. Went to New Hampshire for 3 more month's and came home a new person. Was happier and healthier than he had been for years. 4 years later a blood clot caused by sleep apnea hit his brain and took him away from us June 2025. He was an organ donor and they said he was so healthy he would save a lot of lives. He was living for the LORD.

Absolutely LOVE this recovery center! The staff is AMAZING and heartwarming! My recovery journey here was awesome and I met truly amazing people here! I'm so greatful that I came here and was a part of this center. Words can't describe how truly and deeply this place meant to me. Megan Parent is truly a god sent she is a very honest woman and will go through lengths and jump through hoops WITH you and she will push you to go farther and it's because she truly wants you to succeed and do better for YOURSELF! She is an angel and I love her!

By far one of the best programs available.

The staff were as instrumental to my success in sobriety as anything I did on my own, if not more. They are knowledgeable, relatable, and very caring. All of them treat you as an individual and will always make time for you. My experience with Topsail was a life-changing one.

I did an evening IOP for close to 4 months at Topsail. I feel very, very fortunate to have found myself there as I had done a different program before that “didn’t stick”. There was a wonderful diversity to the staff that lead the nightly sessions - different in terms of personalities, thoughts, approaches, insights etc. The group of patients/clients was equally as varied. Yes - doing a night program after working all day wasn’t the easiest (mentally and physically) but I genuinely looked forward to ending my day with something that was meant to help me. I also met one on one with a therapist (Jen Unger - fantastic!!!) and a Nurse Practitioner (Craig - bright, articulate, and intelligent) and I can’t say how much those interactions helped as well. I was discharged from the program and feel like it was a solid foundation on which to proceed on my recovery. I had not a single negative interaction with the Staff of Topsail during my time there; they have all obviously chosen the right careers for the right reasons. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful!!! I've been in treatment for a little over a year sober for 3 months now started attending IOP which is offered at the clinic and that led me on the path to being completely drug free thanks to all the support that's offered I can finally say LIFE is AMAZING!!! Thank you NEW SEASONS truly this place has changed my life for the BEST ! I have clean sober friends now I highly recommend attending some type of group the support you get between the consulers and the clients is unbelievable ! Kelsie G is the best

Bobby the counselor is my favorite he is so nice and always actually listens to me. Also the head nurse she is awesome too. I love the whole place they are not judgemental either.makes it a lot more pleasant of an experience

Harbor Care offers SO many different things. They have PCPs, MAT Providers (not methadone), therapist, phycologists, CRSWs, social workers, housing help, full dental services. Also a Task Force for those with HIV and AIDS. Their department offers a lot to their clients. Such as rides and help with paperwork and understanding bills, etc. Getting people the services they need to be more productive and sober and helping to get their needs met. Such as Transitional Living. As well as the Cynthia Day program for women with young children who are struggling with their sobriety. They can live there and learn coping skills etc. And Transitional Living for our Vets who are struggling with homelessness, jobs, addiction, etc. There are probably things I missed. But Harbor Care is a Non Profit. And they have an in house pharmacy.

I ABSOLUTELY love this place! The staff is very nice but also, anyone looking to get their teeth fixed or pulled or whatever you need, they have a dentist section and they do a sliding scale! I'd recommend this place to EVERYONE!

I had the pleasure of speaking with Liz in Admissions. She was patient, kind and informative. I can’t speak to the services themselves, but if getting through the initial interview is anything like the rest of the experience, it’s bound to be high quality and worthwhile.

I am so incredibly grateful for Liz and the kindness and compassion she showed me during a very difficult time. She patiently answered all my questions, walked me through the registration process, and helped schedule my first appointment. But what meant the most to me was the way she made me feel while discussing such personal and sensitive information. She was warm, understanding, and genuinely caring. I never once felt rushed or judged, only heard, respected, and supported. It takes a truly special person to make someone feel comfortable and cared for during such a vulnerable moment, and Liz did exactly that for me. She made a difficult first step feel so much less overwhelming, and that meant more to me than she probably realizes. I hope she knows what a difference her kindness made. Thank you, Liz, for being such a bright spot during a difficult time. You are truly appreciated!

Liz helped me out with getting into META. i have just started treatment last week. But she was very helpful, answered all my questions, and seemed very genuine!

Talking to the counselors has helped me a lot. They have helped me look at things differently and feel better about what's coming next. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to, and I'm glad I have that support.

The smiles and positivity of the staff can really brighten someone's day, especially when they're already having a rough one.

Everyone here is so kind and knowledgeable. From the lady at the front desk, to the ER tech, nurse, and doctor- every single person i encountered was nothing but absolutely wonderful. Education would be great for them on service animals and how their nurses respond to them and the language that they use for example a service animal is not an animal an animal is an animal that doesn't do anything and it's just for fun service animal provides services when I took my service animal and the nurse was very scared of my service animal even though I repeated to her over and over again this is my service

Spectrum Health Services' PAVE Program, an IPAEP/CBP for domestic violence abusers, is a phenomenal program that helps domestic violence abusers on how to cope and better manage with various techniques on how to deal with anger management issues, violent tendencies and how to have & build better relationships with their partners/victims and all those affected by domestic violence. I highly and fully recommend to all who have been a domestic violence abuser, past or present, to partake in this vital & crucial program. If interested (and if not already court ordered), contact Maureen Casey here @ Spectrum to learn more about PAVE and other programs Spectrum has (specifically for anger management is one example). Mike & Faith administer the PAVE Program on a weekly basis. My group sessions are every Wednesday, from 430 to 630 pm for 40 weeks, start to finish. I wish all abusers the best of luck out there in getting the help we all so desperately need!

Medicating is always quick and easy...in and outta there as opposed to the only other clinic around here (HabitOPCO in Fitchburg)
