Absolutely changed my life for the better. I went in arrogant and with my head on backwards. They supported me through every step of the process and when you leave you really do “get your power back”, the choice to make the right decisions. If I ever had to go to rehab again I would choose this place again immediately. Green Mountain Treatment Center saved my life. I was sick and scared when I arrived, but the transformation that occurred for me during the 80 days I spent on the mountain was nothing short of a miracle.
I quickly recognized that hard work on my part needed to be done, or I'd be miserable and missing out on the gifts of the program. Thankfully, there is an incredible staff in place who walked with me through the introspection I had to do and showed me that recovery was possible. I marked 5 months sober yesterday and I truly believe that God removed my alcoholic obsession while I was on the mountain.
Everyone's experience is different and I can only speak of my own, but I personally could not see myself succeeding as I did in any other facility. I'll be thankful to Green Mountain for the rest of my life.

I had an amazing, amazing stay. The dining staff made delicious food, especially the desserts. My only drawback would be that the facility is understaffed as far as techs go, but their drive, empathy, and kindness more than made up for it. I would especially like to thank Christine for being an ANGEL on Earth, and Annemarie for her dedication and care. The nursing staff did everything they could to ensure a comfortable, safe experience. I would recommend this facility to anyone experiencing a mental health crisis.

Such a great place! From the moment I very nervously, and hesitantly walked in I was treated with compassion and respect. I was in real trouble, my drinking was out of control for a long time, and my health and family were suffering. Serenity got me safely detoxed and sober, and then taught me how to stay that way. I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. I credit a great deal of my success on Aware Recovery.

When it was colum health, it was THE BEST. The doctors and the staff and nurse practitioners truely care and want to make a difference. Now it's changed hands, obviously the same people that still work there are still wonderful but their policies are a little different and it just seems colder.

The best care I have received has definitely been in this place. The facilities are nice they are well maintained and clean. The food is delicious and the staff is always pending on the needs of the customers. I'm sorry I didn't find this place before because this site is amazing to receive help.

From the front desk greeter to the primary care team to the blood lab nurse I felt accepted and unconditionally cared for. All staff were, courteous, knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough.

I have had an opiate dependence from the age of 18 after a severe accident i have struggled for 25 years i never have had such a pleasant experience with such a professional helpful staff that didnt judge me first time in 20 years there intake almost brought me ro tears i was so grateful completely different than any other dosing clinic and i have used them from mass to California even Tijuana i highly recommend this place and i am so grateful to have luckily picked this clinic in order to avoid everyone i know so i dont have any screw ups in my recovery nothing has ever worked or felt comfortable im amazed by ther professionalism amazing

META changed my life, hands down. I was so skeptical going into the program, especially with a mental health focus instead of addiction. Now I wish I never had to leave! The staff instantly make you feel like you belong and you’re exactly where you need to be. I built my confidence back up and learned so many skill! I was at a near breaking point with my mental health when I found Meta for a mental health IOP program. I've always been hesitant about seeking care with outpatient programs due to seeing friends who said the care made them feel worse. My psychiatric NP was worried because most facilities near me had waitlists of up to a month. I was drowning. Desperate, I reached out to one of their facilities who directed me to Meta, who took my insurance. When they say they can see if your insurance covers the care within an hour, they absolutely mean it. When beginning the intake process the staff was nothing but encouraging. By the end of the day, I already had the intake process started.
Beginning the program was fast as I was able to start immediately. Their NP team was so helpful with helping me file for PFML. You can attend in person or join on Zoom. This was such a relief as Meta is an hour and a half away from me. Meta provides the most accessible mental health program I have seen.
I also can't say enough about the care team. There's a blend of advice from people who want to see you grow. Groups are the best with Kayla's sharp insight and Liz's gentle guidance. Not only am I able to connect with my therapists, but others who are also seeking support. I'll be taking friendships with me when my time with Meta comes to a close. If you are on the fence about reaching out for professional support, come to Meta. It truly has been a wonderful experience.

I've struggled with my mental health for most of my life and always kept afloat one way or another, but Meta was the biggest turning point for me. I've felt so supported everyday while given an environment I felt safe in to heal. They've given me knowledge and coping skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. I'm very grateful to the Meta team and everyone I've met through them. For the first time since I was a kid I feel like I'm living and not just holding on.

I have read some of the negative reviews on here and the only thing I can say is when your going through detox every bad thing that happens is greatly magnified and things are not always as bad as you think. It’s a detox not day camp. If you are truly being sick and tired of being sick and tired and you want help getting clean and sober I would suggest going to Farnum. This place definitely saved my life. If you are looking for a place that will help in your recovery then please reach out to them. I didn’t get it right the first time so I’ve been there twice over the course of 5 years but both times I’ve been there all of the staff were all very helpful and caring. I came to Elevate in April of 2023, and it was such a good experience, I stuck around for another 20 months to get better at emotional regulation. Good news! Now I am better at it!
This is a great place to get better if you’re the mood to get better, and it’s even a great place if you’re not. Even though the location in which the sober house is located isn't exactly the best, I'd still recommend it to any military vet looking for a place to figure out where to go next after discharging from VA substance abuse/mental health treatment.
This place is here for those who want to get their lives on track. I'm grateful it exists & was there for my loved one when they needed it most.
If you are looking to get over on someone & not completely ready to do whatever is required to ultimately change your life... then this isn't the best place for you.
