Ashby, MA | Spring Hill Recovery is a luxury alcohol and drug rehab on a 70 acre campus in Ashby, Massachusetts. It’s a coed program with separate male and female residences. They treat adults 18 years and older. Here at one of the leading women’s rehabs in Massachusetts, most of the day in their program is structured with therapeutic activities. They | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Absolutely changed my life for the better. I went in arrogant and with my head on backwards. They supported me through every step of the process and when you leave you really do “get your power back”, the choice to make the right decisions. If I ever had to go to rehab again I would choose this place again immediately. Hats off to Lead RS Justin and my clinician Sandrea for they gave me the deepest level of support and I wouldn’t have made it the full program without them. Thank you Spring Hill.

Antrim, NH | The Antrim House is located in Antrim, New Hampshire. They’re affiliated with the Sobriety Centers of New Hampshire. They have 21 be | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Antrim House was hands down the best treatment center I have been to and I know that I was not the only client that felt that way. All of the staff at Antrim made me feel heard and catered to our needs always. The BHA’s, Clinicians, Providers, Nursing Staff all went above and beyond to help me out throughout my stay there. Had some amazing talks with Brittany, Sherrie, Bailey, Chris D, Daniella, Wanda, Trevor, Lisa, Trish, Ashley, Joe and more that I will never forget. The food there cooked by Leah was top notch and the best food I’ve ever had at a treatment center. I love the fact that Krystle the alumni coordinator is so involved in her job and so passionate about what she does. It is really cool to me that she is so productive and proactive about keeping everyone in contact on the alumni app for events so we can all keep in touch and continue on together as a community in our recovery journey so that we have each other to lift one another up each step of the way. I won’t forget the amazing staff that held groups that I absorbed so much from, I will always feel forever grateful and forever blessed to have found Antrim House in my searches for a treatment center. I feel it was by the grace of God that it all worked out the way it did. Thank you to all the staff, I have nothing but amazing things to say about you all, and words can’t express how much you all mean to me. Len, Chris D, Brittany, Chris G, Trevor, Wanda, Lisa, Tonya, Keith, Martha, Brielle, Christian, Ben, Joe, Bailey, Doreen, Jessica(Provider), Chauntelle, Krystle, Daniella, Trish, Peter, John, Jessica, Sue, Michelle, Hannah, Kim, Mindy, Sherrie, Ashley. I would recommend Antrim house to anybody who is having a hard time in life and trying to turn their life around. Best recovery residential treatment center there is in the state in my mind. All of the staff there have been there before and have walked in these shoes. They all speak from experience and they care about where we are all at in our journey and want to be with us every step of the way. I will never forget my stay there at Antrim because it has helped save my life. If I kept going on the path I was going down I don’t know if I would be here leaving this review because I would most likely be dead. I can’t tell you how to get sober because everyone is different and needs different things, but I can tell you that Antrim House will give you all the tools you need to stay sober and be successful after you leave to stay on the right path. Antrim House and their staff will fight for you daily and they believe in you. The way they care and the staff there speaks volumes about Sobriety Centers as a whole and I am so grateful that I was able to go through this program. I will forever recommend this program to anyone that ever comes to me with a problem in need of help. Antrim will be the go to. Thank you for everything you guys have done for me! Words can’t express how grateful I am for you all!

I can't thank the Bha's enough for connecting and inspiring me. I am indebted to the nursing staff who stood by me as I dealt with the consequences of my use. The program works if you work it. Just like with any other program out there, you have to put the effort in. No one can do it for you. Depending on your insurance you may be able to get a taxi ride to the clinic each day. No matter where you live. Do not let negative reviews sway you from making the decision to get clean. Gorgeous serene location. Not sure many walk down to the pond/lake. Outdoor picnic tables for contemplation. Privacy is a Huge plus adding to focus.
Haven't been there in over a year. I hope it hasn't lost its "run down summer camp" vibe I read in the other review that it's new (renovated) because a lot of charm is in the larger room with books.
Casual with Excellent Experienced Highly empathetic dedicated counselors. They've seen it all. The composition of "Patients" is quite varied. You can have a Professor making buddies with a plumber. I mean this in the best way & you already know that's how it works ideally. I just want to encourage people to not stereotype it as one socioeconomic group or another. But yeah mostly white.
Great place.

I went through Washburn detox, css, and then extended care and am now in a halfway house. Each step offers a little more knowledge and opportunity to grow. They are severely understaffed there and it makes placement for after care very difficult. There are some staff that aren't helpful or supportive, probably most of them. But there are a few who truly care and will do whatever they can to support you. If you want to get clean it's a good place to do it but you have to want it. You have to wade through the chaos and negativity to find the support and the staff you can trust to be open and honest with. There are staff that have been through the same things they understand and your struggles and pain, they will empathize with you and give you alternative perspectives. You must advocate for yourself relentlessly otherwise you will be overlooked. Going into detox I told myself I would push mentally, spiritually, and physically everyday and it's paid off in many ways. I love working out and they have revive classes that are a great way to safely get back into shape. They don't have any equipment so I made a calestenics routine using chairs and water bags. Now that I have access to a real gym I'm amazed at how strong I got with just body weight training. I encourage everyone to do something everyday even if it's just stretching or yoga. There is something for everyone out there in terms of exercise and I would not be where I am today without that coping skill. But it's also important to journal and meditate and pray. Make a daily routine and just try to do your best at it everyday no matter where you are you can find ways to push yourself and for me that was crucial to have to mindset needed to find stability and balance. I'm very grateful for my time there now bring in a halfway house I miss the extended care program. While in I took alot for granted, I let the negativity of the people around me effect my outlook. Looking back on it there are far worse programs out there. If you want to change your life Washburn is a place you can do that but it's what you make it. I would recommend the program to anyone in need. They'll help you get clean and stay clean if you let them. It's not easy but it is definitely worth it. In detox the case worker Chris and James are awesome he'll do whatever he can for you. The nurses are great too and will work with you on medication if you need it In css bhts Nick, John, and Nate and great guys in and out of work. Css case work Matt and Jackie are great supports and will help you with any resources available. If you make it to extended care bht Stephanie, Jessica, John, and Mark are cool. In the Washburn IOP Jacob is an awesome guy very inspiring and takes his work seriously. Kathy the nurse is probably my favorite nurse I've worked with in any program she's seen it all very knowledgeable and strait forward. And Stephanie the alumni coordinator is incredible she's speaks from the heart and from experience. And she will support you and offer you resources after you leave the program. Don't be afraid to talk to staff until you find someone you feel comfortable talking to. Post come pics of the progress I've made. All natural just lots of food and hard work

I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. I credit a great deal of my success on Aware Recovery.

Great program, great people! I wouldn’t be where I am at today if it weren’t for participating in and completing AWARE. I would recommend anyone interested to give it a chance, it works if you want it!

Based on my personal experience, I would 100% recommend GateHouse to anyone struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders. I've been struggling with substance abuse for many years with bouts of sobriety in between. I've seen my fair share of treatment center. None, in my opinion, compare to GateHouse.
1. The clinical team is top notch and go above and beyond to help educate clients and teach them new coping skills to ensure their success in recovery. Hunter (my clinician) met with me weekly and was a rock for me during times of uncertainty. She listens without judgement, shares based on experience and offers suggestions on new ways to improve my mental health.
2. Josh (Clinical Director) is a prime example of his profession. He has successfully helped my fiance and I work through past traumas, stemmed from our use, in weekly one-on-one Couple's Therapy sessions. There have been times where I've met with Josh when I was unsure of something and he's eager to be helpful. He leaves the door to his office wide open for clients. That says so much and I have a lot of respect for him and what he does for this community.
3. The curriculum is outstanding. It's informative, educational and absolutely attainable if put to use. Clinicians facilitate these groups, breaking the information down so that everyone has an understanding of what is being taught. I always leave Brittney and Geno's groups with a different, more positive perspective and new skills to practice in my daily affairs to better myself as a woman in recovery.
4. GateHouse Case Managers advocate for their clients and take time with each one in setting up aftercare plans and relapse prevention plans. They truly care for the success of their clients. Marcus (my Case Worker) has helped me attain appointments that better served my health. He has educated me on sober living and my options all while encouraging me to make choices that will be best for me. He's an amazing person and I'm grateful I was assigned to him upon my arrival at GateHouse.
5. During my stay at GateHouse, Couple's Therapy Group was formed, held once a week and facilitated by Geno. This group was crucial for my fiance and I and our road to healing. It was a safe space to connect with other couples who have gone through similar situations as us and gain new perspectives. Geno taught us new coping skills, constructive and healthy ways to communicate with one another, boundaries and how to ease ourselves back into our children's lives in the most caring and loving way. GateHouse's decision to incorporate this group into their program has benefited my fiance, myself and many more clients.
6. The BHT Staff are the absolute best that I've ever encountered. They too are working their own programs in recovery and have a personal understanding of what clients are experiencing. It's much easier for me, as an alcoholic, to listen to a fellow alcoholic rather than someone who doesn't have personal experience with substance abuse. Every staff member has their own amazing, unique qualities that make them an absolute asset to GateHouse. There's not one of them that isn't helpful, personable, and (most importantly to me) willing to hold you accountable in a loving, caring way so that you have the opportunity to better yourself. Personally, I believe they deserve a raise. They offer so much more to GateHouse other than their job duties. They have the ability to connect with clients based on their experiences inside and other side of work. Each one is a walking symbol of Hope and that the program does work, if you work it.
All in all, I've had an amazing experience with GateHouse and feel that I have the tools that I need to start the next chapter in my recovery. Thank you GateHouse friends! You've truly made a difference in my life and will be dearly missed!
