All of the staff at Antrim made me feel heard and catered to our needs always. The BHA’s, Clinicians, Providers, Nursing Staff all went above and beyond to help me out throughout my stay there. Had some amazing talks with Brittany, Sherrie, Bailey, Chris D, Daniella, Wanda, Trevor, Lisa, Trish, Ashley, Joe and more that I will never forget. The food there cooked by Leah was top notch and the best food I’ve ever had at a treatment center. I love the fact that Krystle the alumni coordinator is so involved in her job and so passionate about what she does. It is really cool to me that she is so productive and proactive about keeping everyone in contact on the alumni app for events so we can all keep in touch and continue on together as a community in our recovery journey so that we have each other to lift one another up each step of the way. I won’t forget the amazing staff that held groups that I absorbed so much from, I will always feel forever grateful and forever blessed to have found Antrim House in my searches for a treatment center. All of the staff there have been there before and have walked in these shoes. I will never forget my stay there at Antrim because it has helped save my life. If I kept going on the path I was going down I don’t know if I would be here leaving this review because I would most likely be dead. I can’t tell you how to get sober because everyone is different and needs different things, but I can tell you that Antrim House will give you all the tools you need to stay sober and be successful after you leave to stay on the right path. Granite Recovery might be better for long term sobriety. It has a higher success rate. In all honesty, I did graduate but I probably should have been hospitalized for exhaustion afterward. Just like with any other program out there, you have to put the effort in. No one can do it for you. Depending on your insurance you may be able to get a taxi ride to the clinic each day. No matter where you live. Do not let negative reviews sway you from making the decision to get clean. You can do this. These people can help. Everything they do is for the purpose of getting you clean. I know many people who have gained remission from addiction with the help of metro, including myself. Outdoor picnic tables for contemplation. Privacy is a Huge plus adding to focus. Haven't been there in over a year. I hope it hasn't lost its "run down summer camp" vibe I read in the other review that it's new (renovated) because a lot of charm is in the larger room with books. Casual with Excellent Experienced Highly empathetic dedicated counselors. They've seen it all. The composition of "Patients" is quite varied. You can have a Professor making buddies with a plumber. I mean this in the best way & you already know that's how it works ideally. I just want to encourage people to not stereotype it as one socioeconomic group or another. But yeah mostly white. Great place. Darwinsom 6 years ago This a very protected environment where you can focus on your treatment with no distractions. The groups are beneficial, the therapy is superb, and the staff is second to none. The facility is new as of writing this and provides a calm and relaxing environment to focus on your recovery and self. As with all programs like this you get what you put into it. Cant speak highly enough about the staff. They will be there for you anytime and guide you threw the hurdles of addiction and mental health issues. Thank you to Neakaug and their staff I cant praise you enough. I hope this this program doesnt depart from an excellent program they have working. Halcyon Caskey 1 year ago I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group.
