Green Mountain Treatment Center saved my life. I was sick and scared when I arrived, but the transformation that occurred for me during the 80 days I spent on the mountain was nothing short of a miracle.
I quickly recognized that hard work on my part needed to be done, or I'd be miserable and missing out on the gifts of the program. Thankfully, there is an incredible staff in place who walked with me through the introspection I had to do and showed me that recovery was possible. I marked 5 months sober yesterday and I truly believe that God removed my alcoholic obsession while I was on the mountain.
Everyone's experience is different and I can only speak of my own, but I personally could not see myself succeeding as I did in any other facility. I'll be thankful to Green Mountain for the rest of my life.

I had an amazing, amazing stay. The dining staff made delicious food, especially the desserts. My only drawback would be that the facility is understaffed as far as techs go, but their drive, empathy, and kindness more than made up for it. I would especially like to thank Christine for being an ANGEL on Earth, and Annemarie for her dedication and care. The nursing staff did everything they could to ensure a comfortable, safe experience. I would recommend this facility to anyone experiencing a mental health crisis.

Such a great place! From the moment I very nervously, and hesitantly walked in I was treated with compassion and respect. I was in real trouble, my drinking was out of control for a long time, and my health and family were suffering. Serenity got me safely detoxed and sober, and then taught me how to stay that way. I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. I credit a great deal of my success on Aware Recovery.

I have been on the clinic 2015 & it has helped me on my road to recovery. I am addicted to opiates(pills) & have not abused them since I've been on clinic, I also gave up drinking alcohol when got on clinic. The "dosing" nurses are great nurses,. They're very friendly, care n have lots of patience to deal with addicts everyday. The receptionist(s),doctor & councilors are awesome too. I've had many councilors since been here & always been happy them. The hours are good during the week but during the wknd rhey should stay open longer(some of us come a long way & durning bad weather it hard to get there before 10am)

I see so much hate being projected on the reviews here. This place honestly saved my life, This place and people are the Reason why I am off of dope. There are a few things that could change though,One of the crappiest Things Are, When you Finally Make it to the clinic,Sometimes on Saturday there is a Enormous line out the door all the way around the building. Other than that it's an amazing safe place.
Well I forgot one thing. This is my 3rd counselor which I hope they don't keep leaving.

I have read some of the negative reviews on here and the only thing I can say is when your going through detox every bad thing that happens is greatly magnified and things are not always as bad as you think. It’s a detox not day camp. If you are truly being sick and tired of being sick and tired and you want help getting clean and sober I would suggest going to Farnum. This place definitely saved my life. If you are looking for a place that will help in your recovery then please reach out to them. I didn’t get it right the first time so I’ve been there twice over the course of 5 years but both times I’ve been there all of the staff were all very helpful and caring. I think the staff does a great job at New Season Concord, N. H. I constantly hear people talking bad about the clinic, and just putting it down. My thoughts would be that more then likely they probably would never open such a place of there wasn't proof of it working. Or should I say, if the success rate wasn't there. But anyways, in all reality, it honestly is what you make of it. You basically figure out how you want your goal of sobriety to go, with the help needed from the Doctor, Nurses, and the rest of the staff. The people that work here. That’s the difference. This place will absolutely, do whatever they can to help you. I honestly, can’t stress it enough.
This is run by Diana and she’s not just a big shot that stays in her office. The first week she was here, she invited me in, just to ask me how I was doing and if I needed anything to make it easier for me. Her door is always open and I always feel welcome. Felipe has been great to me from the moment I met him. He always makes the ins. problems or billing, much, much easier. Heidi and the nursing team, Sage, the two receptionists, and of course, my main man, Darrin. These people are now all friends, to me and I care for them all.
I do all my work and whatever is asked of me. If I have an appointment, I show up. I follow the program and I’ve had very few issues. It’s been one of the best moves I’ve made in my life.
Give this place a chance if you want to change things. I would refer anyone that wants a fresh start, here it is. This is it. Anyone can build a building but the people are always the key. In any business.
Anyway, thank you to all the friends I met at CTC and I and grateful to you. 😘

I am excited to write this review. Ava keeps me going, and provides such healthy insight. I have had a long couple of years, personally, professionally, and with my own recovery. She's been here for all of it. Nobody is easy, but I really am a tough nut to crack. I have a tremendous amount of gratitude for the time we have.

I really love South Bay. They gave me a great therapist. Her name is Ava Barone. She has really helped me with a lot problems I have been going through. I can say anything to her and she doesn’t judge she tries to help. I feel so much better after our sessions she is a great person. There is no program out there that has guaranteed results. But, I've known multiple people who have had their lives transformed by attending Teen Challenge Manchester. The staff here navigate the complexities of recovery with wisdom and love. I personally have received phone calls from staff about one of my family members who was no longer in the program; because they were concerned for him. I've witnessed staff steer family ministry meetings with gentle courage as they challenged the deception and darkness of addiction. Above all, the program recognizes that true recovery comes with faith in God and longevity; 30/90 days are not enough. I’m thankful for what they’ve done to help people I love. I highly recommend this facility.

I was expecting this facility to be not as good as Boston, where I'm originally from, seeing that it has less of a budget; however, I was wrong. Primary care is ok, but the specialty care is amazing, especially the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) division. I couldn't be happier with them. They are super responsive, understanding, and caring. Dental is top-notch, too. Manchester may be small in terms of hospitals, considering the VA, but they have big hearts to serve their veterans.

PLEASE SAVE THIS HOSPITAL FROM BEING CLOSED. This is the only hospital where you can be seen and released within a reasonable time frame. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have had harrowing experiences at other hospitals. Never this one. I do wish they’d clean up the waiting room a little though.

My husband had knee replacement surgery on Nov 4. Dr Mattheos is a rock star!!! It came out awesome. He had an A fib issue on the 2nd day when he was supposed to leave. He left the 3rd floor staff that went above and beyond to ccu on the 2nd floor. They too were amazing as well. Can't say enough about the staff. The food was pretty darn good too! Very happy with Anna Jacques Hospital.

Haverhill Behavorial Health has an approach to mental health care that is focused on getting you through whatever is causing you to feel the way you do. Their approach is kind of old school and may make most people upset with how they “treat” you. Meaning you aren’t allowed your phone, only at specific times. This is only to have you socialize and get to know other people there. The staff is very supportive but is stern to most of the “bad behavior” that happens. They will intervene with arguments before they become fights. Becky’s dual diagnosis meetings were very helpful in the sense that you got to hear other people stories and how everything in their lives have impacted them. Everyone is there to support eachother and try to get you through any issues you may have. But ultimately it’s up to you on how to manage yourself and in turn others. My experience was very helpful and completely changed my outlook on a lot of things.

Ok. So far starting with this place it’s been a little bit of a nightmare due to all the appointment dates and that their answering service is messed up. Never correct.
I’ve met with my Case Worker Sabrina. Really connected with her and know she is good peoples and knows what she’s doing.
Very happy about that. Then today I met with my med doctor David. Very intelligent man. Was funny and told him about all the bad advertisement they have. I told him if he makes me see someone else we r done. He’s like that won’t happen unless you change it. So I had a good experience when I went today. Sorry for everyone else so far. I saw all the reviews. Looks like the system isn’t established correctly yet.
