Went march-april of 2019 fresh out of 6 month jail bid. Couldn't ask for a better group of people all around. I was genuinely accepted and treated with dignity by both residents and staff. 28 days flew by and I was reminded of how |enjoyable life can still be even if you are sober. They let us smoke cigarettes on the patio outside and the food was outstanding and many times restaurant quality. I'll always have fond memories of this place. I can only hope that those that I met there are winning their battle with addiction or at the very least not giving up. They were all good souls that deserve happiness just as much as anyone else.

My experience at Green Mountain treatment centers was absolutely incredible, I had been searching for the right place to finally conquer this monster inside me for a very long time. From the very star green Mountain was just what I needed and all aspects as far as guidelines support And the tools to be successful afterwards. Since graduating the program, I have been very involved in the alumni program which shockingly extends just as far As the Php program does, which is rare at most treatment centers once you leave it’s over but I have stayed connected Thankfully, to the alumni program. Aside from the incredible view, the mountain is full of beauty. There is beauty in the way the staff makes you feel comforted and welcome, the community that surrounds you and the solution being shared- a solution to find the light again. I can’t say enough good things about RBH!! I showed up in October 2016 spiritual bankrupt Not happy to be there. Slowly but surely the staff and camaraderie between the residence help show me a a whole new way of life. Helped show me a new way of thinking an a whole new way of looking at the world. Gave me a solid foundation in the sober community in the lakes region which is where I still live today. I still feel very much part of the RBH community. I still have a lot solid friendships thanks to RBH and I love seeing the guys around town and at meetings. Lotta good memories!! Riverbank house definitely helped push my life in a positive direction and I’ll ever be grateful.

The experience I had at the Riverbank House changed my life forever in so many ways. I arrived at RBH in February 2016 and begrudgingly agreed to stay for 28 days, I ended up living there for almost 4 years because I just didn’t want to leave. The bonds and friendships I formed there still continue to this day. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity at a new life, and how to truly enjoy that life, that was provided to me by the Riverbank. My time at RBH was filled with compassion and laughter and memories I will always cherish. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but going to the Riverbank was certainly not one of them. I am grateful for every single me ever of the Riverbank brotherhood that I got to know during my time there, even that guy with the red beard.

Groups is AWESOME, I've been coming here for about 2 years I think. They are MORE than just a place to get your medicine and run, they are understanding and you can ALWAYS ALWAYS be honest with them. They will help you and be there for you to the best of their ability as long as you show up and participate. If you really want this, if you show that you care about your recovery, they show they care maybe more than you do!. The Group setting is a little nerve racking at first, but everyone is open and wants to listen and help, you just have to let people into your heart, its the only way ❤

I love this hospital. No seriously. My husband and I both have serious chronic illnesses, and have to use their services far more often than anyone should ever have to. Every person, from the custodians, secrrtaries, CNAs/LNAs, transporters, imaging, lab techs to the nurses and doctors are always amazing to us. When the hospital was full for days and no one could accompany me to another floor to shower, they gave me everything I could ever need to take my nightly "sink baths". When I had to have an NG Tube, the kindest lab tech held my hand, and the doctor and PA tried to soothe me and reassure me as much as possible (and let me tell you, the NG tube is the devil). They brought my son a popsicle, and celebrated every win with me. Each person deserves a super huge raise and extra paid vacation time! They have always listened to me, and I have been ignored and traumatized by enough medical staff in the past to know the difference. The only special thing I did was try to be kind. Thank you all for being wonderful and going above and beyond for me and my family!

I can’t say enough about how incredible The Plymouth House is. I spent 6 days in detox and 24 days in the Residential program, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation I had. Having a full detox program with real clinicians on site was a game changer for me. The staff paid close attention to each guest’s needs, mine included, and that level of care truly made all the difference. From leadership to support staff, everyone was approachable, supportive, and fully present. They always made time when I needed it, which meant a lot during such a tough chapter of my life. The team approach, Case Management, a Therapist, and a 12-Step resource dedicated specifically to me had a huge impact. Their focus on the Little Big Book really grounded the whole program and helped me find direction again. The campus is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious, and the food… unbelievable. Every meal felt thoughtful and genuinely nourishing. Today I’m 50 days sober, with a sponsor and a renewed sense of control and hope. My life is becoming manageable again thanks to The Plymouth House. I am truly grateful for what this place gave me. I HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone seeking help—whether it’s your first time or not. If you’re willing to make a change, The Plymouth House will absolutely change your life.

If you're looking for a place to learn how to get sober and stay sober check out Casco Bay Recovery! I had the opportunity to take advantage of their PHP(partial hospitalized patient) program and their IOP(intensive out patient) program. The PHP program runs 6 days a week 6 hours a day including a long lunch. You get to spend the day with BHTs and clinical group facilitators who educate you on the disease model, model of addiction and the 12 steps of AA. Along with fun activitys, meditation and ice breakers. The IOP program is great when you have some sobriety time under belt and enables you to focus on your recovery while also tending to family life and work. It runs 4 days a week, two and half hours a day with an option of morning or night depending on your schedule. The structure of the program includes meeting with a councler and psychiatric nurse practicioner. Leslie Briggs will bring you through the admissions process which is simple and convienent. I had a positive experience with clinical including Matt, Amanda, Bella and Kevin. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Julie was very helpful and caring. BHT Noah doesn't disappoint when it comes to exciting activitys, being a good listener and making you laugh. You'll get a chance to meet Program Coordinator Mike. B who is very recovery smart and is the man to talk to when you need realistic, direct and positively impactful input. In addition to all the things they can and will do for you, they will direct you toward sober living for men and women, meetings, sponsorship, Family Restored Meetings for your non-alcoholic friends and family and more. I'm quite familiar with this business and staff, which are all always doing the best they can. I do have to say, that it's not a mess, but the photos are very misleading except for the street views. 🤭 I have however had the pleasure of meeting with some of their patient councilors, and they really go above and beyond. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking treatment. ❤️

Create friendships and connections that will strenthen your recovery community and foundation at Casco Bay Recovery! -Casco Bay Graduate Desmond. A (6 months sober)

I had been sober for 9 years, taking Suboxone but it was all a lie. I relapsed and everything came crashing down. I went to jail, almost caught a serious charge, was getting evicted from my apartment, my car ready to be repossessed and my life just seemed to spiral out of control. I was on the verge of suicide. I decided to go back to the methadone clinic and start IOP. My journey of healing began. It's just a slip, I will get back up even stronger than before. I know now who is important in my life and who isn't. If I want to change I need to start healing and loving myself first. Something I've never done, everyone else was first. Now it's time for me to be number one. My life matters I don't want to die.

I was the unruliest patient here both times, it was a rough start, it truly was, but I am a strong person, and I often pointed out to staff where my rights were being violated, I was able to get a TTV to go pay bills, I was blue papered but reversed it so I could do the therapeutic walks outside the unit. I am sorry to see such bad reviews, but I can understand why. There were always miscommunications, The doctors didn't always listen, but this experience helped shaped my career in mental health! Don't give up!

This place was really able to help me when I had a break down a few years back after my dad died. Its not a bad place if you follow the rules and focus on your treatment. If you don't and act up and fight others or staff you get put in seclusion, then they get out and leave bad ratings on the hospital and staff that tried to help them .
