I now have almost 5 months sober and I truly know what it feels like to be at peace with life. No longer do I feel like life is one big struggle between me and it. That s all thanks to my higher power that I was able to find at green mountain treatment center. You re probably thinking aw great he mentioned higher power this doesn t seem like the right fit for me. They do teach alternative treatment programs for gaining sobriety at green mountain treatment center as well. So if you aren t open to a higher power they will work with you to find a path that works for you and your individual needs. Make no mistake just like anything in life the journey is what YOU make of it. Green mountain treatment center will give you the tools you need to dig your way out of your addictions but it s up to you to utilize those tools after they ve been given to you. I can t say enough good things about RBH!! I showed up in October 2016 spiritual bankrupt Not happy to be there. Slowly but surely the staff and camaraderie between the residence help show me a a whole new way of life. Helped show me a new way of thinking an a whole new way of looking at the world. Gave me a solid foundation in the sober community in the lakes region which is where I still live today. I still feel very much part of the RBH community. I still have a lot solid friendships thanks to RBH and I love seeing the guys around town and at meetings. Lotta good memories!! The experience I had at the Riverbank House changed my life forever in so many ways. I arrived at RBH in February 2016 and begrudgingly agreed to stay for 28 days, I ended up living there for almost 4 years because I just didn t want to leave. The bonds and friendships I formed there still continue to this day. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity at a new life, and how to truly enjoy that life, that was provided to me by the Riverbank. My time at RBH was filled with compassion and laughter and memories I will always cherish. I ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but going to the Riverbank was certainly not one of them. I am grateful for every single me ever of the Riverbank brotherhood that I got to know during my time there, even that guy with the red beard.

Great not for profit company thats 100% volunteer based company. They do a lot of great thing's in the community and for the community of York County. One of the amazing thing's they do is offer a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center free of charge to York County residents. They also offer a Men and Woman's Shelter in Alfred, ME. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They do an amazing job and I really hope they keep up the amazing job they do, do because they are truly the very BEST at all they do for the community and the people in York County. I'm happy to say I was once part of some of the things York County Shelter Program's do. They have forever changed my life for the very best and thats exactly what they aim to do is to better people and their lives. :)

Groups is AWESOME, I've been coming here for about 2 years I think. They are MORE than just a place to get your medicine and run, they are understanding and you can ALWAYS ALWAYS be honest with them. They will help you and be there for you to the best of their ability as long as you show up and participate. Groups in Rochester office is an amazing place to go for your recovery . I've been through 4 other programs that never worked for me or my husband. We both go to groups for over 6 mouths now and we have been clean everyday of it. The people that work there are amazing, loving, careing people. The doctor there listen to you and help you with what ever is good for your recovery not what they think or want. They don't push you you have to want it. There group ever week that we have is asome and better then any IOP or meeting I have ever went to. If you want to have a grate fun recovery you should 1000% come to groups. Canterbury Behavioral Health saved my life. I stayed here for four months: 6 weeks in residential, 5 weeks in PHP, and 6 weeks in IOP. Even with the few blemishes and areas it could improve, this place should be the standard for mental health treatment nationwide. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I was referred to NFA for their IOP program after completing a PHP with Banyan Philadelphia. I highly recommend for anyone who needs help with their mental health. Living in the sober house in Concord and attending daily groups helped me get back to being human. I enjoyed the staff and group programs. My therapist was excellent and I felt heard and well cared for. The Psych provider might the best provider I ve seen thus far in all my treatment. After 54 days with NFA I am more confident, stable, and for the first time in a long time- hopeful.

I recommend NFA to anyone suffering from mental illness or substance abuse. The staff is incredibly caring, compassionate and supportive. The residential team was always available to assist in any way possible and genuinely cared about the patients. Extremely grateful

I see so much hate being projected on the reviews here. This place honestly saved my life, This place and people are the Reason why I am off of dope. There are a few things that could change though,One of the crappiest Things Are, When you Finally Make it to the clinic,Sometimes on Saturday there is a Enormous line out the door all the way around the building. Other than that it's an amazing safe place.Well I forgot one thing. This is my 3rd counselor which I hope they don't keep leaving.

I know that this place has its issues but doesnt every place and or everyone in the world .i personally give this place a 5 star rating because this clinic is the only reason i am not using heroin any more and the people and the support here is the only reason i was able to get clean and stay clean and sober and get my son back as well thank you !!

Went to this place for the first time ever Today and have never tried methadone before Today.The doctor and staff were extremely knowledgeable about everything and truly care and made very easy and a fantastic first experience long lines so keep that in mind but overall was really shocked at how cool and caring they were and pretty fast as well so will be going back every day now for sure.If it's your first time or 5th time this place is definitely something I would truly recommend and that's being completely honest no BS.
