MV was the first treatment center I ever attended. I was terrified going in—I had never been away from home, and I was struggling deeply with depression, OCD, and anxiety. I had graduated from high school in 2023, taken a gap year, and was preparing to start at Franklin & Marshall College when I hit my rock bottom. Together, my parents and I made the difficult decision that I needed more intensive support. Looking back now, those five months at MV became the most transformative period of my life.
I met incredible people—both residents and staff—who made me feel seen, understood, and supported. During my time at MV, I was able to heal and reconnect with the core of my values. Of course, there were moments when I felt frustrated with the program; treatment is a vulnerable space that asks you to confront your fears, your patterns, and the safety behaviors that have led your life. But MV offered me the safety, structure, and guidance I needed to work through that discomfort. They gave me the push no one else could. MV helped me to realize just how much I needed consistency, caring accountability, and firm but compassionate support.
Today, my OCD is so much better, and although my anxiety is still around (it’s always going to be a pesky little friend), I’ve learned how to work with it instead of letting it control me. I’m currently living in Portland, ME, in a transitional living program where I’m taking classes at SMCC, working at Anthropologie, and learning how to support myself. To see the progress from a year ago—when I couldn’t even leave my room—to where I am now is incredibly empowering. And best of all, I've realized that the strength I needed was already within me; I just needed some help remembering that it was there. None of this would have been possible without the foundation MV helped me build. I am forever grateful to everyone there. It genuinely changed my life.

Why would you release someone after 2 weeks, when their insurance covers 3 weeks? 2 weeks is not nearly enough time to recover... only enough time to detox. What a waste. No life skills learned, no after care... destined for failure.

Valley Vista in Bradford, VT is a beautiful place. I attended I'd say 8 years ago but I was not mature enough to appreciate it then. I appreciate it now. It is a clean, safe facility with helpful and kind staff. When I was there they treated dual diagnosis, which I believe is a must to truly comprehend the main cause of addiction. Vermont's beautiful scenery helps as well. I remember they had great food as well, plenty of whole foods and cakes if you like processed sweets. I believe Vermont is best for farm fresh overall.
I have since grew stronger in my faith and I give glory to God for putting me in recovery, but I admire the peer specialists and professional workers of Valley Vista. It is a great place for the underprivileged to afford. Thank you!

Antrim House was hands down the best treatment center I have been to and I know that I was not the only client that felt that way. All of the staff at Antrim made me feel heard and catered to our needs always. The BHA’s, Clinicians, Providers, Nursing Staff all went above and beyond to help me out throughout my stay there. Had some amazing talks with Brittany, Sherrie, Bailey, Chris D, Daniella, Wanda, Trevor, Lisa, Trish, Ashley, Joe and more that I will never forget. The food there cooked by Leah was top notch and the best food I’ve ever had at a treatment center. I love the fact that Krystle the alumni coordinator is so involved in her job and so passionate about what she does. It is really cool to me that she is so productive and proactive about keeping everyone in contact on the alumni app for events so we can all keep in touch and continue on together as a community in our recovery journey so that we have each other to lift one another up each step of the way. I am so grateful for Antrim House. I am rebuilding my life today and experiencing meaningful progress in recovery because of Antrim and It's staff! I can't thank the Bha's enough for connecting and inspiring me. My case manager bent over backwards to help me navigate a complicated set of logistical issues. because of the dedication of the staff at Antrim I got a chance to do the real work on me, that i had never been able to do before! I am indebted to the nursing staff who stood by me as I dealt with the consequences of my use. I learned so much from the classes and was truly inspired and motivated by Bha's I got so many tools at Antrim that serve me today as I try continue to trek farther up and further into this spiritual journey towards better and new!

I went to Valley Vista on 12-21-2021. I attended the center for 15 days. In those 15 days I went through so much turmoil and inner struggle. The hardest moments of my life still to this day. I experienced inside that building and with the employees of Valley Vista.
Coming up on 5 years of sobriety this year I want to thank everyone that helped me at Valley Vista. You are all true heroes and gave me the confidence and knowledge to save myself from myself. There is no program out there that has guaranteed results. But, I've known multiple people who have had their lives transformed by attending Teen Challenge Manchester. The staff here navigate the complexities of recovery with wisdom and love. I personally have received phone calls from staff about one of my family members who was no longer in the program; because they were concerned for him. I've witnessed staff steer family ministry meetings with gentle courage as they challenged the deception and darkness of addiction. Above all, the program recognizes that true recovery comes with faith in God and longevity; 30/90 days are not enough. I’m thankful for what they’ve done to help people I love. I Called New Season & they got me in the very next morning for a intake & my first dosage. Ladd the program director was who I dealt with & he is always very caring , easy to talk to & understands & genuinely cares about how you’re doing. Ladd has helped me with the whole process from getting into New Season to setting up the check in app on my phone they use & also giving me a very big help setting up insurance… The nurses and my counselor Greg have been great also! I’ve had 0 issues & the only thing I would change is the take home policy to include auto take homes on the weekend & snow day take homes… Other than that very GREAT PLACE!

I want to leave an honest review as a wife whose husband went and completed the adult/teen challenge program 3 years ago. First of all this program is 100% the persons choice of how far they want to grow in this program. It’s a program that is absolutely God centered. It is a discipleship and recovery program for men and yes it is designed very strictly which was wonderful for my husband because it gave him the necessary boundaries that he could not set for himself on his own, something many addicts struggle with in life. The director of this program and his wife have been through the program themselves and understand the process and how hard it is to go through it as a family. They became like family to us. I was so angry and broken when my husband went away and it was so hard not seeing him for those first 30 days. The staff there were an amazing support to me and were in my corner which was what I needed at that time. The time away from us helped my husband realize how much he really loved his life, and how much he did not want to lose it or throw it away anymore.Through the long process of being away, learning how loved he is by God and having such a hard time of surrendering all of his comforts, he was radically healed and changed during that time. My favorite time during his stay there was family ministry time when we all got together- all the families around a table with all the residents and took turns sharing our hearts. Having those connections were so important at that time for all of us. It was difficult to commit to 12 months but I am so glad we did. He is 4 years clean in Dec. 2025 and I am so grateful for the love and support from Hector, Alex and Carmen especially. They literally have give up almost all of their time and so much of their lives to run this program and all for the support of the families and residents. I would recommend going. It will be hard but if you commit, surrender and believe and let God work- you can see amazing transformation 🩷🩷

Adult & Teen Challenge NH is an incredible ministry that God used to save my husband’s life and our family. Their program provides hope, structure, and encouragement, but most importantly, it points people back to Christ. God is the one who restores — Adult & Teen Challenge simply walks alongside in that process. The team here is dedicated and works hard. I recently visited Recovery Mountain and was blown away by the facility. They’ve created such an amazing environment to recover in. The rooms don’t feel clinical at all. It feels more like a New England home. The basketball court and batting cages are pretty cool too. Felicia Orchard, who leads the team there, is one of the best people I know of in the field. If you are ready to get sober, this place is ready for you! It is five stars everyday! I left Recovery Mountain with a personal recovery plan and a new outlook on life. First, the staff are incredible; each BHA bringing their own unique, no bull-shit personality to the recovery curricula. The nursing staff are very caring and accessible. The chef was understanding about any food requirements, and the facility is everything others have written. The clinical director is highly skilled and direct. The only question you should ask is, "are you ready to climb Recovery Mountain?".

I was referred to the Sobriety Center of New Hampshire by my union assistance coordinator Jeff smith, I called late afternoon I didn't even think he'd respond till the next day, I was wrong
first connected me to Andrew Wilson at Portland Treatment. Andrew then put me in touch with Amanda who is a sweetheart by the way, very serious about helping people she got me admitted.— and I can honestly say, this place changed my life.
This is not your average rehab. The facility is top-tier luxury, with beautifully designed rooms, an immaculate kitchen, and amenities that blew me away — including an indoor soccer field, basketball court, full-size baseball area, and even a full military-style obstacle course upstairs. It felt more like a wellness retreat than a treatment center, but make no mistake: the recovery work here is real.
A special shoutout goes to **Kevin he is the one that goes above and beyond he makes it look easy he did everything I asked him and more he even took my call from jail which is crazy I've never thought anyone would do that He's overworked and then the paid he deserves it a company then and his own office in a name plaque this is greatness works here.

New Life Home is not only a safe, beautiful and peaceful haven for women and their children, but also a place where they can grow into the women they were always meant to be. I had the privilege of meeting these awesome families and had the first-hand experience of seeing this program in action as I taught there for about 9 months last year. I saw lives restored and transformed into radiant beauties. The program is exceptional as it follows a holistic approach to provide increasing health in body, mind, soul, and spirit. What a gift! I think all women, including myself, should have the opportunity to go through New Life Home's program and this type of experience. Love it there! They have so many resources and are always doing the best they can to help. I’ve had good experiences with reception, therapists, their nurses and their case workers :) Although I do wish they had more couples counselors, but other than that it’s been nothing but positive.

I recently visited Recovery Mountain and was blown away by the facility. They’ve created such an amazing environment to recover in. The rooms don’t feel clinical at all. It feels more like a New England home. The basketball court and batting cages are pretty cool too. Felicia Orchard, who leads the team there, is one of the best people I know of in the field. I would send a friend or loved one there in a heartbeat.

I went there today, October 14th, 2025 with a high recommendation from a Dr. Who opened a primary care in white river jct.
I was not disappointed whatsoever. From the receptionist who was friendly, to the nurse and then the doctor.
I need to have my ears flushed about every 6 months. Had not had it done in quite some time. The young nurse was outstanding. The Doctor, i wish I had gotten all their names, was kind, caring and understanding.
After 30 minutes of rinsing, digging (softly) and an attempt by the nurse, then finally a last try by the doctor, got the remaining chunks/wax out. She was surprised on how much i had in there.
I feel so much better. Not tired and worn out like I felt prior to this.

Took my child who was complaining of ear pain to the walk in clinic. There was hardly any wait. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful, and everyone treated us with kindness and respect. The doctor listened to and validated my concerns.

Antrim House was hands down the best treatment center I have been to and I know that I was not the only client that felt that way. All of the staff at Antrim made me feel heard and catered to our needs always. The BHA’s, Clinicians, Providers, Nursing Staff all went above and beyond to help me out throughout my stay there. Had some amazing talks with Brittany, Sherrie, Bailey, Chris D, Daniella, Wanda, Trevor, Lisa, Trish, Ashley, Joe and more that I will never forget. The food there cooked by Leah was top notch and the best food I’ve ever had at a treatment center. I love the fact that Krystle the alumni coordinator is so involved in her job and so passionate about what she does. It is really cool to me that she is so productive and proactive about keeping everyone in contact on the alumni app for events so we can all keep in touch and continue on together as a community in our recovery journey so that we have each other to lift one another up each step of the way. I won’t forget the amazing staff that held groups that I absorbed so much from, I will always feel forever grateful and forever blessed to have found Antrim House in my searches for a treatment center. I feel it was by the grace of God that it all worked out the way it did. I waited 2 years to leave a review, I thought 2 years of being around this home would give me enough time to truly get to know this place. New life home has helped my love one thrive in life again.The staff here is beyond amazing and really care about the women and children who enter their doors. My favorite part about this place is that it really is a home where you feel loved,cared for and supported. If you are struggling in any aspect of life I 100 percent recommend calling New life homes so they can help you change your life like they did with my family member.
