I drove into Ashby a broken person and I’m leaving with the mentality in myself I feared I had lost forever to addiction. The staff here was focused on my success and happiness at all times, constantly checking in to make sure I had all the tools and support I needed to get well. My case manager, Alina, took time my first day to correct all of the mistakes my previous detox facility had made and continued to be a strong support throughout the duration of my stay. The nursing staff was exceptional and personable, always making me laugh through stressful med changes. Jess the NP was so attentive and always ready to listen. The RS staff was always a helping hand and served as a personal outlet for all my concerns during my stay. I could not recommend this place to a friend/family member more, SpringHill truly saved me. Halcyon Caskey 2 years ago I cannot say enough good about Aware Recovery Care going back to February 2023. My first involvement was with their In-Home Detox team consisting of RN Jenn Aguire and nurses Tabitha and Krystal who came to my home for at least seven straight days to get me detoxed. This was critical to me as at the time I was unwilling to enter in residence detox having had a negative experience in the past. I credit them with saving my life. Their kind and compassionate care showed me that there was indeed some hope for me going forward. Following detox Aware counselors Sam Hayes and Amber Gelinas continued home visits working very closely with me in keeping me on the road to sobriety. I also received monthly assessments by an RN and a session with a Psychiatrist. After six months my insurance lapsed but thankfully I was eligible to enter their Alumni Program consisting of multiple Zoom meetings during the week with Aware professionals. In addition they also host various events in different locations with other Alumni of the program. You always feel that Aware is right there with you every step of the way. I could carry on much longer but let me finish by saying that I consider the Aware professionals I have dealt with to be more than just counselors but as friends as well. I am welcome back in the lives of my children and most importantly my Grandchildren. On November 24 I will be collecting my Nine Month sobriety chip at my AA Home Group. What stood out most was how much they genuinely cared — not just about getting me through the program, but about helping me build a foundation for long-term sobriety. The structure, accountability, and support made a huge difference for me. I learned how to be honest, how to take responsibility, and how to start creating stability in my life. Before graduating in October of 2024, I learned patience and received joy that no one can take from me. Luke Maillet 5 months ago This isn’t a bad long term rehabilitation program if you are looking for a program that is Bible based rather than Bill Wilson’s “big book”, but it’s by no means perfect despite all the 5 star ratings. Granite Recovery might be better for long term sobriety. It has a higher success rate. In all honesty, I did graduate but I probably should have been hospitalized for exhaustion afterward. It was my 7 yr old daughter’s first time getting blood drawn through a vein. They handled her overwhelming fear, crying and, hyperventilating with patience and grace. Casual with Excellent Experienced Highly empathetic dedicated counselors. They've seen it all. The composition of "Patients" is quite varied. You can have a Professor making buddies with a plumber. I mean this in the best way & you already know that's how it works ideally. I just want to encourage people to not stereotype it as one socioeconomic group or another. But yeah mostly white. The groups are beneficial, the therapy is superb, and the staff is second to none. The facility is new as of writing this and provides a calm and relaxing environment to focus on your recovery and self. As with all programs like this you get what you put into it. Cant speak highly enough about the staff. They will be there for you anytime and guide you threw the hurdles of addiction and mental health issues. Thank you to Neakaug and their staff I cant praise you enough. I hope this this program doesnt depart from an excellent program they have working. Just like with any other program out there, you have to put the effort in. No one can do it for you. Depending on your insurance you may be able to get a taxi ride to the clinic each day. No matter where you live. Do not let negative reviews sway you from making the decision to get clean. You can do this. These people can help. Everything they do is for the purpose of getting you clean. I know many people who have gained remission from addiction with the help of metro, including myself. I had been to a dozen other treatment facilities and from the moment I got here I knew things would be different. They cared about me when I couldn't care for myself and they provided the structure and encouragement I needed to heal. The entire staff genuinely cares about each and every patient, from the behavioral techs to the CEO. In terms of actual care the clinical director and my therapist, April, has literally changed my life. I had been misdiagnosed with bipolar disease for years and she recognized this and started to treat me for PTSD. My medications and treatment were directly focused on this diagnosis and finally my outlook on myself and what was possible had changed. Slowly over time i have been able to conquer my emotional and mental struggles through therapy and the coping skills I was taught. The individual therapy sessions which are done weekly are unparalleled in terms of quality and depth. Why I worked on my internal struggles I was introduced to the best recovery community I have been apart of here in Nashua, NH. We are everywhere up here and we are thriving and I truly feel a part of something bigger than myself. I am so happy with this place I have decided to stay up here. By far the best therapist I’ve ever had. The way she makes you think about your past and yourself and helps you to deal with issues your having past, present, and future is amazing. I hope I can find another therapist half as good as she is. I’d highly recommend GH to anyone trying to get clean and sober. Never been to a more helpful treatment center. It always made me stumble on a flat surface. I stand straighter and at times I can wear a belt to hold my pants up. Sounds crazy but giving the fact that my rib cage sits on my hips, that is amazing! The muscle in my back is softer, the muscles in my butt cheeks are relaxing more. I love how I feel more than I ever thought possible. The Dr's Matt and Tecia Abatelli are very good and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I know that miracles are not likely, but so much better than I ever expected.
