Absolutely changed my life for the better. I went in arrogant and with my head on backwards. They supported me through every step of the process and when you leave you really do “get your power back”, the choice to make the right decisions. This is one of the greatest recovery centers to regain control over your life. The groups are very informative and welcoming. The criteria was open and well covered. This isn’t a bad long term rehabilitation program if you are looking for a program that is Bible based rather than Bill Wilson’s “big book”, but it’s by no means perfect despite all the 5 star ratings. Granite Recovery might be better for long term sobriety. It has a higher success rate. In all honesty, I did graduate but I probably should have been hospitalized for exhaustion afterward. You have to work really hard here- both physically and emotionally. Keep an open mind but don’t expect a happy ever after- it isn’t for everybody.

I came to Elevate in April of 2023, and it was such a good experience, I stuck around for another 20 months to get better at emotional regulation. Good news! Now I am better at it!
This is a great place to get better if you’re the mood to get better, and it’s even a great place if you’re not. The staff here genuinely cares about you, and if you’re willing to open up, they’ll do whatever they can to make things better. So give it a try if you’re on the fence! It sure worked for me.

This BHN facility has its ups and downs to it. From May 2018, to current day! I have experienced so much over the years. From being a Co-Ed Detox up until 2022. My last time being in this building in 2021, I'm now a resident of Connections. My caseworker Alex is very reasonable and understanding. The program director Jen is a wonderfully kind and cooperative person. This is a locked facility, where you have to be let on or off the unit. The different paths in recovery are accepted. There is from a structured guidance program here. 3 beds in each room, 3 meals provided daily, and staff (Recovery Specialists & Clinical Counselors) that will provide help/assistance/resources. I've been here in this new program for a week now and have adjusted very well. My future here will be very conducive to my recovery, I also believe that I can and will be very successful.
The downsides here are only, grievance forms aren't responded to timely. Your not allowed to bring food or beverages on to unit. Very

I wish I could give zero star. This is the WORST hospital I’ve ever stayed in my whole life. On my discharge day, I felt way WORSE than the day I was admitted. The common area is gross and poorly maintained, the bedrooms and bathrooms are shared with psychotic patients who shit in bathtub and on the bathroom floor and it took FOREVER for people to clean, and few days later there were still marks of poop on the floor. When I reported this poop issue the day of, the supervisor, Dean, promised to come to the unit by the end of the day to talk to me but he never ever showed up.
Besides, it took the psychiatrist and social worker FOREVER to show up to check in with me, and there’s just no means that I could reach out to them when I needed, during working hours.
Most importantly, there’s staff member who’s RACIST. The staff member in South 3 unit whose name is Livi, mocked my immigrant background and called me “little X” (X being my country of origin), and she laughed it with another patient. This is BEYOND SHOCK.
To anyone who’s considering this place, please please please STAY AWAY. I promise you will GET WORSE after staying here.

This place is very clean and well taken care of. You can really tell they prioritize safety and comfort for everyone there. There are always plenty of staff around, which helps things run smoothly and gives a sense of security. I also love that they have spaces for group activities, a gym area, and even outdoor spots where people can relax and get some fresh air. It feels like a place that truly cares about both mental and physical wellbeing.

Haverhill Behavorial Health has an approach to mental health care that is focused on getting you through whatever is causing you to feel the way you do. Their approach is kind of old school and may make most people upset with how they “treat” you. Meaning you aren’t allowed your phone, only at specific times. This is only to have you socialize and get to know other people there. The staff is very supportive but is stern to most of the “bad behavior” that happens. They will intervene with arguments before they become fights. Becky’s dual diagnosis meetings were very helpful in the sense that you got to hear other people stories and how everything in their lives have impacted them. Everyone is there to support eachother and try to get you through any issues you may have. But ultimately it’s up to you on how to manage yourself and in turn others. My experience was very helpful and completely changed my outlook on a lot of things.

The negative reviews seem to be from people who don’t quite care to discover the reasons behind things or can’t comprehend how some guidelines/rules came into being. The partial hospitalization program really helped me in getting structure back into my life, figuring out what works best for me, etc.
Someone complained about not being given the phone numbers of other patients and in group and that we are dissuaded from sharing contact information but as a rule it *makes sense* there should be exceptions to most of the rules but as a baseline it is a safety concern. People can trauma bond and form unhealthy dynamics or cyclical negative behavior patterns. People can be in for all different reasons and some may not feel safe with their information being given out. This place isn’t perfect but it deserves a higher rating than it has received here- people just don’t like being told what to do even if the whole point is to get a better outlook and have our views challenged.

I Called New Season & they got me in the very next morning for a intake & my first dosage. Ladd the program director was who I dealt with & he is always very caring , easy to talk to & understands & genuinely cares about how you’re doing. I had a family member that stayed at the Maria ave group home in or around Auburn 2023. My cousin truly changed for good after discharge. She had learned the basics all over again and in such a good way. She had a group of some older housemates that really cared for her. It was the first time she has ever felt heard. The manger was wonderful. He truly guided our angel back to family.

Very impressed with the rapid and professional treatment I received here. From the moment I walked in and registered to the friendly and warm greeting from the Nurses. Within 10 minutes I was in a bed, a baseline ECG performed, and labs drawn. And an ER Doc with a fabulous bedside manner. Thank you to both Nurses named Elizabeth and to Dr. Mac? So so much better than Leominster! Take the extra ten minute drive or refuse ambulance to leominster... Would have rather never gone to hospital thanks to total disrespect and way I was treated in leominster. Clinton was far superior in every way!
