Just came home after four weeks at Serenity Treatment Center and it was a wonderful experience. I came home more with a better understanding of my condition and given great coping skills to deal with my anxiety and depression. I want to thank with all my heart two people in particular My clinitions Jack who gave me great one one one therapy with a kind and gentle heart and Rob...both true gemsne. Rob ran many of the group sessions always giving a lot of information and encouraged us to recognize our needs and work on coping skills that for me we're so important. Rob had a way of running groups and not making the groups boring with different approaches such as occasional an chuckle combined with many serious conversations. Anyone lucky enough to enter into the Serenity program is truly lucky. I would be wrong not to acknowledge the techs, nursing, cooking and cleaning staff all wonderful people.

I had an extremely great experience. My mental health, and my substance abuse were addressed and worked on every single day. With medication and daily therapy sessions, and a greatly structured environment I felt very confident in moving into a sober living phase--which is a part of the recovery process. Green Mountain Treatment Center saved my life. I was sick and scared when I arrived, but the transformation that occurred for me during the 80 days I spent on the mountain was nothing short of a miracle.I quickly recognized that hard work on my part needed to be done, or I'd be miserable and missing out on the gifts of the program. I see so much hate being projected on the reviews here. This place honestly saved my life, This place and people are the Reason why I am off of dope. There are a few things that could change though,One of the crappiest Things Are, When you Finally Make it to the clinic,Sometimes on Saturday there is a Enormous line out the door all the way around the building. Other than that it's an amazing safe place.Well I forgot one thing. This is my 3rd counselor which I hope they don't keep leaving.

I was in recently and I wanted to say Frank the ER doctor along with the nursing staff I saw were THE most caring, nice, generally concerned staff I ve ever met with at an ER. I could not believe how nice they were and the overall attitude they all had. I ve been in a few times for my kids as well and always receive better treatment than the hospital actually closer to us so have started going here instead. I ve left feeling more confident than other locations knowing they spent the time to make sure my kids and I are good to go home and not brush us off.

Went to ER, these nurses were all at the end of their 12+ hr shifts. I received the best care from everyone involved. I did get admitted and was treated excellent on the floor too.In this crazy world we're ALL living in we need to learn to have patience and respect those that are in the health field. PLEASE SAVE THIS HOSPITAL FROM BEING CLOSED. This is the only hospital where you can be seen and released within a reasonable time frame. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Ok. So far starting with this place it s been a little bit of a nightmare due to all the appointment dates and that their answering service is messed up. Never correct.I ve met with my Case Worker Sabrina. Really connected with her and know she is good peoples and knows what she s doing.Very happy about that. Then today I met with my med doctor David. Very intelligent man. Was funny and told him about all the bad advertisement they have. I told him if he makes me see someone else we r done. He s like that won t happen unless you change it. So I had a good experience when I went today. Sorry for everyone else so far. I saw all the reviews. Looks like the system isn t established correctly yet.

My experiences at Seacoast mental health from the start has been excellent, my transition process was very easy going and all my needs were met. I have been going here for a few months and I highly recommend this place, for people who are asking to receive these services and of course pass their intake and have the right insurances I believe they can help in one s constant recovery process. I am giving Seacoast Mental Health five stars because I trust them. with my Mental Health issues, concerns and needs. Just had to say the program director actually spoke to me for almost an hour. I was a complete mess from crying over worry for my daughter who is not even at Pegasus House. Currently she is incarcerated and we are looking for a program. I googled residential and due to the holiday, I really didn t think I would reach anyone. Staff who answered transferred me to the Director who was actually there. Before I could say hello back, she told me to take a breath. She didn t know who I was. Several years ago. I made an appointment with seacoast mental health. I was greeted by a wonderful lady named Betty. I was in a very bad way in a very bad spot in my life. I have had many problems with doctors that just didn't care and was ready to give up I pushed his poor ladies buttons as hard as I could. And I was good at it. And from that point on I will say this lady has saved my life. It has been several years and I owe my life to this one lady at seacoast mental health. I will say in a few short years my whole life has changed. As he perfected the proper medication for me I have become such a better person in life more people like me I deal with everyday problems so much better. And my life has changed 100%. She also got me a case manager. His name is Patrick. And I will say Patrick has the neck to help me deal with the other problems that appear in my everyday home life. He teaches me how to deal with problems with DHS social security problems that arise at work. And keep a proper running household. I will say without these two people I would not be able to make it in normal everyday life I thank them every day I talked to them and I appreciate everything they do for me. I m under the care of Ellen McFarland, and after seeing an array of people since 2003, I can say that she is the best therapist I ve ever seen. She is so realistic, talks to me instead of down, and uses my language, instead of quotes from a book. I can change the office environment at anytime. I ve sat on the floor for an entire session and she ll sit low as to not break eye contact. She s absolutely wonderful, with a great sense of humor

I know that this place has its issues but doesnt every place and or everyone in the world .i personally give this place a 5 star rating because this clinic is the only reason i am not using heroin any more and the people and the support here is the only reason i was able to get clean and stay clean and sober and get my son back as well thank you !!

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who.is having issues with any substance abuse problems or alcoholic they were great to me the director Kevin had gone above and beyond to help me and make sure I had my medication and anything I needed I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place and it gave me a whole new out look on life and getting help in general I never wanted to go to treatment cuss of how I thought it might be but this had absolutely changed my mind they are very caring and will do anything to sute somones needs if it's in there power if you need help or know anyone who does there absolutely the place to go

A mothers NIGHTMARE! That s what it feels like when you have a loved one dealing w/ mental illness compounded by legal use of THC. My adult child 23 ended up in this facility 2x. As a Social worker myself at first I was frantic, reading the reviews and 1st visit seeing that it was CO-ED. I was even skeptical about the medication protocol used for stabilizing. If you have a loved one here know that they are SAFE!!! The prescribing physician meets with and listens to the patient. The social worker listens , helps make realistic goals but not always what the patient wants to hear. My adult child made complaints , cursed out staff and family. It was so scary because I know first hand from working in a skilled nursing facility that staff are human and abuse by staff does and can happen. LISTEN carefully to any complaint a patient here gives. Most likely they are there against their will at first because they were a risk to themselves or others. It s NOT home and the staff are there every day with people that are at their worst! My sweet child was a terror and although some of her complaints were valid concerns they were exaggerated, twisted and misunderstood. Believe me some staff can have an attitude, some staff follow protocol while others may use discretionary judgement. If you have a concern talk to a supervisor ! Ask questions! Learn about the diagnosis and most like you will come to realize the lack of COPING SKILLS is what drives the majority of negative reviews. We are fortunate enough that we could afford a more luxurious facility and have access to many other options but due to a wait list and positive feed back about this facility from highly respectable professional in the field we chose to leave our adult child here until ready. The 3 day notice in place to prevent anyone from being institutionalized unnecessarily was constantly being used by my child every time they didn t get their way. I will say that my child was able to advocate for themselves in refusing one of the medications and knowing that in doing so they got themselves sanctioned due to threats (idle )of harming themselves or others. However after several days I finally had my child back. Without facility like this and staff that choose to work with patients suffering mental illness where would they go? Just know your loved one is safe!!! The non luxury amenities and institutional rules are made to keep everyone safe. It s not a retreat or vacationI am Grateful and thankful to this facility in helping get my child back! This is an EXCELLENT place! They are compassionate, lots of good information, friendly people leading and assisting in the sessions, etc. When I was at my lowest, one of the staff sat down with me and helped me out of that dark place. All my interactions with those doing the programs or the one who I think is the 'boss' are all great people and I have heard and seen from others in my group the positive results from participating in the program. I grew up in Haverhill, and it was good to get back to it, also. I am looking forward to the rest of my time there. What a blessing when I needed it! (whether your religious or not, "blessing" is the right word for me to use)
