I see so much hate being projected on the reviews here. This place honestly saved my life, This place and people are the Reason why I am off of dope. There are a few things that could change though,One of the crappiest Things Are, When you Finally Make it to the clinic,Sometimes on Saturday there is a Enormous line out the door all the way around the building. Other than that it's an amazing safe place.
Well I forgot one thing. This is my 3rd counselor which I hope they don't keep leaving.

I know that this place has its issues but doesnt every place and or everyone in the world .i personally give this place a 5 star rating because this clinic is the only reason i am not using heroin any more and the people and the support here is the only reason i was able to get clean and stay clean and sober and get my son back as well thank you !!

A late night ER visit turned into being admitted. ER staff was good but the staff on the 2nd floor where my husband was admitted were excellent. The ER room wasn’t the cleanest and a bit run down. The room on the 2nd floor was clean but also showing a lot of wear and tear. Overall, the staff and care were very good and thorough. We would not hesitate to go back.

My experiences at Seacoast mental health from the start has been excellent, my transition process was very easy going and all my needs were met. I have been going here for a few months and I highly recommend this place, for people who are asking to receive these services and of course pass their intake and have the right insurances I believe they can help in one’s constant recovery process. I am giving Seacoast Mental Health five stars because I trust them. with my Mental Health issues, concerns and needs. Been going here for sometime and I have been well cared for within my personal treatment plan. I highly recommend both Seacoast mental health locations go to their website and find out how they can help you. Update, consistently they are very helpful reliable people I am very grateful and impressed with their services they have made my transition from N.Y. a very happy and smooth one.

Several years ago. I made an appointment with seacoast mental health. I was greeted by a wonderful lady named Betty. I was in a very bad way in a very bad spot in my life. I have had many problems with doctors that just didn't care and was ready to give up I pushed his poor ladies buttons as hard as I could. And I was good at it. And from that point on I will say this lady has saved my life. It has been several years and I owe my life to this one lady at seacoast mental health. I will say in a few short years my whole life has changed. As he perfected the proper medication for me I have become such a better person in life more people like me I deal with everyday problems so much better. And my life has changed 100%. She also got me a case manager. His name is Patrick. And I will say Patrick has the neck to help me deal with the other problems that appear in my everyday home life. He teaches me how to deal with problems with DHS social security problems that arise at work. And keep a proper running household. I will say without these two people I would not be able to make it in normal everyday life I thank them every day I talked to them and I appreciate everything they do for me. I’m under the care of Ellen McFarland, and after seeing an array of people since 2003, I can say that she is the best therapist I’ve ever seen. She is so realistic, talks to me instead of down, and uses my language, instead of quotes from a book. I can change the office environment at anytime. I’ve sat on the floor for an entire session and she’ll sit low as to not break eye contact. She’s absolutely wonderful, with a great sense of humor

Reading these reviews make me sad, i know it is probably a lot of teens who are mad they got sent to the hospital. i have been to Hampstead unfortunately over a handful of times and the staff there were some of the most kind and caring people. maybe not all but the ones who were made a huge impact in my life, im in my 20s now. i usually don’t leave reviews but i feel i had to as its not fair to the amazing people who genuinely care for the kids in the mental health units. Briefly stayed at Hampstead Hospital as a teenager suffering from depression and anxiety. There was a lack of privacy compared to other psych hospitals I’ve stayed at. For example shared bedrooms and bathroom doors that had to stay partially open (even though it was a co-ed unit). However I found the stay to be overall much more comfortable than other hospitals. The staff were kind and interactive with us, something that’s so important but often overlooked in psychiatric healthcare. The group’s were helpful and relevant. The food was great, going to the cafeteria for meals was always nice.

I was a client at SENHS from December 2020 - April 24th 2021. I did the Arc program and then I did Turning Point. We had a Covid outbreak, staff was professional and helped everyone find some place to go and even housed some of the clients until Covid was out of the building. The 5 months that I was there every staff member was professional and cared about both the clients and workers. I cannot say enough good things about them. I am 1 year sober November 30th because SENHS gave me the proper tools for my toolbox to make this work 1day at a time.

Tough review. Ill keep it short. Providers here aren't bad at all but practice seemed to cut back over time on each session in the 4.5 years I was a patient working most of time as a truck driver to this date still. I actually did get well for a most of time but at end lost it on everyone quitting practice and burning bridges with them. It's goes both ways as far my how I was and my thoughts with experience there. 4 to 5 stars first 3 years and 3 at end of tenure as a patient. I blame myself for some of it and should have kept a journal on my progression.

Doctors and nurse's took time to listen and the doctors changed my meds. I was Very blessed to have such caring staff. The unit itself could be updated, but most importantly the staff was very helpful and treated each patient as an important individual and not just another number. I am very thankful for the help I received here.

A late night ER visit turned into being admitted. ER staff was good but the staff on the 2nd floor where my husband was admitted were excellent. The ER room wasn’t the cleanest and a bit run down. The room on the 2nd floor was clean but also showing a lot of wear and tear. Overall, the staff and care were very good and thorough. We would not hesitate to go back.

As a patient at AJH, I write to express my sincere thanks and gratitude for: 1) the expert, world class surgical care received, 2) the remarkable service and exceptional empathy throughout my 5 day stay, and 3) the ship-shape facility, ward and related creature comforts.
The Surgical Team was absolutely top class led by Doc Thurlow.
The Nursing staff in the ward deserves huge praise, with many serving 10-20 years as a testament of caring and commitment.

Over the years I have dealt with several injuries that have required multiple surgeries, physical therapy, and specialized medical equipment in order to heal. Last year both of my shattered hips were replaced, which went fine until a staph infection necessitated the removal of my right replacement hip. After my hospital stay I was admitted into Maplewood Rehab with a laundry list of specialized medical needs that needed to be tended to daily in order for me to recover. I was admitted unable to walk due to the missing hip. I had a wound vac attached to my right side that required specialized training and constant attention. I have a PICC line to receive IV antibiotics 3x/day. All of these needs were addressed with competence, kindness, and adherence to protocol. The staff here is professional, kind, and invested in my healing despite the extra workload that my care requires. Nurse Ladonna and nurse Jessica are angels for examples. PT Dawn and OT Jessica have helped me to get stronger, and relearn the life skills needed to go home to my family. CNA Rhonda and her colleagues take care of me like I'm family. The culinary staff takes pride in their work. The spicy chicken and the pizza are two of my favorites.

If you or a loved one need skilled nursing rehab after a grievous injury, the staff at this facility will take excellent care of you. Additionally, the staff here have a very good rapport with my wife, as well as my team of doctors in Boston.
And this broken down old EMT is grateful.

I would like to tell the staff of the rehabilitation facility of Maplewood, in amesbury, a big I love you all, this is the 5th facility over the past 8 years. This is the 1st I wish I didn't have to leave. I want to personally thank the coordinators for making my stay a smooth transition from the hospital. Then the staff, oh my goodness, a smile every morning from the cnas who would abide by every morning need, ty Rhonda, Nicole, and Shirley, I must give 5 stars to the entire pt crew, ty dawn, and Kerry, I'm in the best health since 8 yrs ago, also ty to the occupational team, Jess I can't ty enough, for giving me my personal needs with, hygiene. You have built my confidence in dressing, showering, and the ability to cook! :) I have to mention the entire activities dept. This is a 5 star caring ,personal team.. Josh, Melissa, and Johnathan, and Melissa, ty for helping me with arts. And crafts for my grandkids. Everyday there is a fun activity to do! From bingo, family fued, crafts, birthday bashes, singing and dancing you are incredible individuals, to the secretaries sue and Becky ty,we've shared beautiful stories and I was touched individually from you both. To the friends I've made, John ,shiela, laura, guaranteed, God bless. And to anyone I may have missed,I'm very sorry. In conclusion ty for doing God's work. God bless and I love you all.
