I went to Brunswick exhausted, malnourished, and on the brink of a nervous breakdown. My marriage was ending because of Infedelity and I started drinking heavily. They made me feel safe, gave me a place to improve my health, Therapist that I could talk with and taught me skills to use when I was feeling overwhelmed in life. Eliminating using a drug just to feel better. I highly recommend them if you need to get your brain clear, calm and ready to change your world around you!!!

ODYSSEY HOUSE SAVED MY LIFE. Now that i got that out of my system let me tell you how... When I arrived at Odyssey house Lighthouse in February of this year, I was a mess. I had just been released from my latest and LAST incarceration at the Utah State Prison, after spending the majority of the last 18 years inside of their walls. I was so traumatized from my early life experiences and the things that I had happen to me that I was unable to even attend groups with my peers without being covered by a security blanket. I was an angry and scared little child. through the work I did with my therapist Zac Shinkle, and following through with the goals that I set into place my very week with my case manager Erica Bylund. I never have to go back to the prison as an inmate now I get to go back as an advocate and help other people never have to that place. I told myself that I was going to get everything that I could out of this place because I need it. I was on the Procurement team and Manny Soberanis and Linda Miner showed me that I have Value and gave me a sense of purpose. They believed in me for me when I didn't even believe in myself. The first building block that I built my new life upon is the one that I BELONG. when you do what is asked of you and you make the next right choice you belong to Odyssey House. And Odyssey House is a family. I am not going to B.S. you and tell you that life was all sunshine and rainbows. It is the hardest thing that I have ever done in my life. But by the grace of God and making the hard choices I DID IT. I LOVE ODYSSEY HOUSE.I made a group of friends in the staff there and they have shown me nothing but love and a care and compassion that I never thought I would be worthy of. The Middle Management Team with Geniel Peto, Michael Minutella, and Sean Ackroyd showed us love and compassion. The BHT's are all amazing Humans EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM. (you know who you are). I say all of that to say this Thank You. I owe you my life because you gave it back to me.

My child was here in the spring of 2023. I am glad that they had availability. The staff that work with the kids are pretty good. The counseling was excellent. I’m so very grateful for House of Hope. When I checked myself into their treatment I was way beyond rock bottom, knocking on heaven’s door. When I got there I was first and foremost taught how to love myself. What a huge difference I went from not knowing how to love myself, to working daily on not only loving myself but believing it as well. They taught me so many useful life tools that I still use today. Their services/ tools they provided me not only helped, but also gave me the tools to get others in an Outreach job I have today. For the very first time in my life there were people who not only cared about me, but who also loved me and showed up for me daily for a year while I was in treatment. I still attend their weekly aftercare program. Thank you House of Hope for every single thing you guys have helped me accomplish, and get through.

First, the nurses tell me they would do something for me, or they say they will be there and it might take hours. If they say their going to do it, I expect it done in a timely manner. My time there was a waste of time. I was worse when I left. I was released 9/4. It was rushed and I didn't get some of my things. I didn't get the meds I took in with me and I didn't get my CPAP. I had to go back and get them. I was told there was a bed available at Village House. There was no room there so I went back to living in my car. I was supposed to get a prescription I started while there and I didn't get it. I can't get ahold of the people i want to talk to. I was telling another patient i was homeless and ended up there. I was there because I was very depressed. Shortly after I was released. I think my conversation with the other patient was overheard and I was there because I needed a place to stay. I was seriously depressed. I was accused of using Snapchat and I never have. I was accused of using Social Media because I was using my phone with supervision and a message came up and I read it. That was the extent of my Social Media interaction. This information is in my chart and it is not the truth. I will not tell anyone to go there. Such a dissapointment! I am so dissapointed with Canyon View. My after care was non existant. It cost a lot of money and im no better now than I was when I was admitted. A plus, the food was good.

FIRE ARM NIGHTMARE experience here. I got assaulted by another male at the house. The guy fought me because I accidentally drank his Powerade. They said no matter who starts the fight you both get kicked out. I told them to wait until I arrange a car to the airport. They didn’t give me time to even call an Uber. I had a FIRE ARM pointed at me from one of the counselors that work there while I was walking off the property. Everyone is searched prior to entering the rehab and he was about to kill a defenseless young man. The counselor was smiling so EVIL while pointing the gun at me. I expected to have to be safe stay there. This rehab is DANGEROUS for anyone to be staying at. If anyone wants they can contact me for a detailed experience about this rehab.
