Had a pretty debilitating I.V heroin addiction, found my breaking point and just wanted health. Called evergreen recovery and had a bed within 24 hours. They make the withdrawal process as comfortable as possible without actually using opioids. As far as success rates, well that depends on you. You get to sleep and eat all day until you have kicked the worst of the withdrawal process. Usually, you can be referred to an inpatient/outpatient treatment program as well, which from my experience is completely nessesary if you want to remain clean. If you are thinking about detoxing here, please just go for it. Don't think twice. Give it a shot. Get your freaking life back!

I was very grateful for the nurses and staff at evergreen detox. They were carrying, understanding, but most important they were non judgmental. I would not have made it through the dtox process without them. My room was clean and comfortable. I could not comment on the food because i didn't eat much. I can say they make sure thee is plenty healthy snacks and lots of gatorade to stay hydrated.. I was there a few years ago and unfortunately i need to go back, but at least there is a place to go to.

The staff is kind and have patience. Be good to them and they are even better to you. This is detox people, it's not the 4 seasons hotel. If u want it that way, then spend $ getting that kind of treatment or vote for more funding from the government to help the facilities that are trying to help addicts. They can only do so much with resources they have. Regardless....we're the addicts and no one to blame but ourselves and at least there are people out there trying to help us *which should be nothing more than appreciated! I was there back in 2013, have never been so sick in my life. I was at the time, slowly dying of a severe oral infection. The doctor reminded the staff that I am a nurse. They were very respectful and did their best to help. Thankfully, my family helped pay the cost of the surgery (at the time, no insurance). Happily I recovered and am again working as a nurse. I’ll never forget the self respect I gained from it. I’m now volunteering at a free clinic in the city I now live in. Thank you!

I came into there program a couple years ago. My aunt life was starting to slip away, she was in a lot of pain all the time. I did want to risk feeling like I might ask her to buy any of her meds so I got into the program. Every was was really great to me. After Cathy pass I rolled off the wagon. They helped me back on. Any and every problem I had they worked w me. I can't say enough good things about the MAT program. Kozi and Dr H. really are amazing people who really care and will try to to do anything possible to help you if you just ask.

This place fascinates me! I like it to be a small and private facility instead of a large counseling corporation because the recommendations I receive in this place are based on my needs instead of a general recommendation. The appointments are conducted by very well trained professionals, I recommend it to all people, it is an excellent place.

Much better being that it's a small private practice rather than a large corporate owned D & A Assessment center. You will actually receive a recommendation based upon your needs, instead of a recommendation made to make the company money off of you attending unnecessary and costly classes,which of course they conveniently offer. I have attended Everett Treatment Services more than once in my drinking career. The first time I enrolled I was doing it strictly for the courts and did my best to cheat the system. Robert F was my counselor, he was direct and to the point. In short, he had my number and what I failed to see those years ago that it was genuine care. Since then (because I cheated the system and myself) I just about wrecked EVERYTHING DEAR TO ME, I decided to actually participate and put in the work. Every time I go to group, or sit in when there is a speaker I learn something, whether small or life changing, I take something from ETS that I use on almost a daily basis. Reading the reviews for this life changing facility saddens me. Please visit yourself, all the counselors have their own gripping stories about recovery to learn from. You will be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I know, having to attend such a facility is most likely not your choice but if you do have to this place will help you through the rough patch you're in. I am proud to have 2,102 days sober today! If you want or need something similar call Maggie the director/owner with an open mind. Take it from me, I'm most likely still alive, still have my family and am still employable because I did. This is the first place I can actually say are people people there down-to-earth and they are like you and me you know and they don't judge they're not above you know they're there to help and I have to give him five stars because they definitely deserve it I believe I felt very comfortable there in that space then I haven't any other place that's for sure

They help people with whatever they need, they are willing to go the extra mile. The clinicians, luckily, are very good at their job. What makes this place special is their focus on the patients they receive. It is set up to serve the homeless population, convicts on probation or parole, all the ones that may be disregarded on other rehabs.

It's walk in only, and they do not do ongoing care. It's an urgent care type setup. However, they helped me get the medication I needed while I waited for an available doctor appointment. I've been on this medication a long time, so it was easy to get the refill. They don't prescribe ADHD meds.

I stayed with reSTART at the end of 2013. After graduating college I was confronted with the harsh reality that I didn't have the skills or confidence to take on life. I had been using gaming and the internet as a way to ignore life's difficulties and run away from that reality. Don’t know what apartments these people are talking about. This place is absolutely amazing. Quiet and very clean and cared for. Called maintenance for a leak they came right away. The office staff are so friendly and peaceful. Not a roach in sight. Check it out for yourself because these reviews have to be about another apartment complex. The daycare gets a little loud as expected they are children and their little laughs are so cute. Best place I’ve lived in a long time. These other reviews sound like Tacoma lol. This part of Everett is so nice.

I highly recommend this place!!! I came in not knowing who I was anymore and not knowing if I would ever be happy, but after a couple weeks at the program I’m happy to say that I am truly happy with myself! Clinical staff, Counselor's, Nurses, Tech's - most of them were super great! JUST to name a few - Justin's poop class was great, I love love love Bianca and Moni! Shawna, Lucas, Antonio, J.T., Chris, Luanne - you all are rockstars. The staff really give a shit about the people and it shows.

Lakeside Milam Inpatient in Kirkland, WA has given me a second chance at rebuilding my life and laying a foundation for sustainable recovery. After a 10-year stretch of sobriety, I relapsed—quickly spiraling into a dark, painful place that lasted longer than I ever imagined. When I reached out for help again, LMRC admitted me within just a few hours and welcomed me straight into detox.
During detox, patients are given the option to rest and regain strength or to begin joining group processing, lectures, and meals as soon as they are stable. Once detox is complete, the structure kicks in—every scheduled activity is required and punctuality is expected. That accountability, though challenging, sets the tone for living life with purpose and responsibility again.
What makes LMRC stand out is the depth and passion of its programming. The lectures are engaging and evidence-based, providing proven strategies for confronting addiction and personal struggles. Patients and families are educated on brain function, the science of addiction, communication tools, and practical steps for recovery. Family workshops and lectures reinforce the idea that healing is a shared journey.
The staff are another reason this place works. Many openly share their own recovery stories, modeling service and honesty—the cornerstones of active recovery. Compassion and accountability go hand in hand here; the team genuinely cares while also calling patients out when needed. The presence of doctors, ARNPs, psychologists, and nurses every day adds reassurance and professional oversight.
The daily life at LMRC also helps patients reset. Structured routines, balanced meals (with a salad bar, soups, snacks, and coffee in the mornings), designated tech time, movies on weekends, and free time for assignments or connection with peers all create a balanced environment. It’s structured without being suffocating.
Recovery is hard. It’s painful, emotional, and messy. But LMRC makes the path a little more manageable. They emphasize the fellowship of AA, CA, NA, and HA by offering in-house meetings with volunteers and trips to outside meetings several times a week. These opportunities remind us that addicts best help addicts, and alcoholics best help alcoholics.
Every patient receives an individualized Tx plan, with assignments and goals tailored to their needs, and the support remains consistent through the ups and downs. More than just a program, LMRC fosters willingness over denial, growth over shame, and community over isolation.

Outstanding IOP in Seattle. My case manager is a strong advocate for recovery and kept the group sessions enjoyable as possible. But it is a lot of work. Make sure you are serious about changing your life.

Attending Lakeside has been one of the best decisions of my life. Their inpatient facility in Kirkland has a very welcoming atmosphere, the grounds are wooded and beautiful you get lots of free time to enjoy yourself mixed in with some very informative lectures and groups.
I spent some time at the outpatient facility and I would again suggest going there for inpatient, outpatient, or continuing care. I had a wonderful case worker for most of my time there who helped me navigate some challenging life experiences, and the groups I had there were invaluable to my recovery.
They are a 12 step focused treatment facility, but they also promote exploration of other programs and won't alienate you if you don't vibe with AA as your chosen method of recovery.

I was in their 2 week Relapse Prevention Program in 2003. I have been clean ever since! Facility was scenic and serene, staff was beyond amazing. Their overall approach offered total holistic focus treating the INDiVIDUAL. Diversity in spiritual accommodations including Native American. When my two week program was complete I wanted to stay longer simply because the entire experience was so profoundly healing....I WANTED more, rather than NEEDED more.

Absolutely Loved my stay at Olalla! Great meals everyday 🙌🏼 coffee too(if ya get up early enough). The staff I had during my experience were some of the best counselors & people you’ll meet! Counselors will definitely call you on your BULLSHIT & keep you accountable(Can’t bullshit a bullshitter, they say). So good luck trying to skate by or just faking it to make it. I got down to some good core roots I never thought of before, got a lot of “Dark Things” out in my time here too. Also not too bad of classes either! With a slightly more stoic approach one could say maybe, lots of good new info! Also, when you get towards the end of your stay, if you’re feeling not quite ready to leave, you can ask for extension(s) too. 🙌🏼
This place is really about their patients, as groups tend to be no bigger than 6-12 people, so, plenty of questions to be asked, searched for, & answered!!! I was in the Falcon Group, our group never got bigger than 6-7 people. And it’s males with males & females do there daily groups with just females, allowing for a little more comfort/support when sharing personal matters. Absolutely love Olalla & would recommend this inpatient facility to ANYONE struggling with addiction!!

So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

I feel like it needs to be said that no one will kick an addiction in 10 days. Even the traditional 28 days won't end the addiction. There are no shortcuts to the life long journey you are embarking on, if you choose sobriety. What Schick does - is give you the tools, and take away the cravings so you can handle this huge life shift.
I have been abusing alcohol for 8 years and finally decided I needed professional help. Schick is working so far for me. I've been 81 days sober as of today.
What the treatment is like:
There is a daily schedule of meds, vitals, and group. You will spend the mid morning through mid afternoon either completing a sleepy (propofol conscious sedation treatment where they ask you a series of questions related to getting sober, and staying sober) and counseling, or a duffy (ipecac aversion treatment where they give you ipecac and then have you drink alcohol. you quickly become ill to associate drinking with nausea.). Late afternoon are various groups.
Pros:
-The medical director at the hospital is a true patient advocator. Sabrina is incredible.
-The community. I felt safe sharing in group, and gained some friends I imagine will be with me for life.
-The counselor John. I've been going to therapy the past ten years, but HE is my favorite person I've talked through my mental health with. Compassionate, empathetic, just a good listener, and has great life advice. He's been there done that, and helped me see some great perspective. His lectures are also my favorite.
-The program. Schick gives all of the same literature that any other rehab gives, but also has the aversion therapy, and sedation treatment.
-The resources. The media wall, the counselors, the lectures, the movies, the hypnosis videos, the 4 agreements, etc. There are so many resources it was hard to take them all in. But theyre all powerful and have continued to help me outside of Schick.
Cons:
-The nursing staff. For the most part I didn't have a problem. But some of the staff had no bedside manner whatsoever. Some said misogynistic comments. Some did room checks late at night with little regard to patients sleeping. Some argued with other nurses in front of me. Either the nurse was great or the nurse was pretty unprofessional. And I didn't see much inbetween.
-Not a diverse group at all. As a black queer female I felt out of place here. It's mostly white men in their 30s and 40s.
