Lakeside Milam is a for profit company.
It appears unethical that a company making a profit from your recovery at their facility would also make an assessment on your condition and treatment plan there. They have the longest programs for recovery in the area which leads back to the profit part of the ethics. Coincidence?

We as individuals must advocate for ourselves and not wait for someone else to get the ball rolling for us. I've had some great therapists and some not so good, but they always help me find someone else to better suit my needs. I've been going here for a few years now and I recommend it. Coming to each class and interacting with staff here, you’ll see that each person isn’t selling anything or here for the paycheck.
