We need this agency to stay intact. All their programs are engineered to benefit not only the city of Sheboygan, but all the communities in all of Sheboygan county, whether the average person in any of our communities is acceptable or not. No one who works there is discriminatory and I have never experienced nasty behavior or disrespect on the department grounds.

This place is very welcoming to the community of people that struggle with mental health they are there to help. I had a bad experience in a different company and they welcomed me and are taking care of my needs. I'm in Oshkosh and they are one of the only places that offer autism testing for adults (and get you in VERY quickly!). Dr. Brown at the Green Bay location is awesome. I'm usually not comfortable with men but I felt very comfortable with him. I 100% recommend this place and Dr. Brown!

I've been struggling with addiction for over 30 years and have managed to be free from active addiction for 5 years.
I have gone from taking 24mg per day of Suboxone daily down to the equivalent of 8mg per day! Clean Slate has helped me to manage my recovery so well and I'm going to be graduating from substance use disorder counseling program which is so exciting knowing that I've come this far and now I can help other people with their recovery! I went to Casa and was so surprised by how wonderful it was. We really all become a family. I remember 2 girls were pregnant and worried about their babies. A girl named Haley was one of them pregnant girls and today she's been sober for almost 2 yrs. She had her beautiful son and is doing amazing. Has her own apartment and just doing such great things in her and her son's life. I know Casa Clare and friendships she had helped her so much. Casa Clare took me in the same week I called for help, after not showing up for 2 prior intake appointments. I was 38 weeks pregnant, I was deep in addiction, homeless, and lost. This program not only got me sober and offered support, they are the reason I was able to keep custody of my baby and continue to thrive almost 2 years later.
They helped make postings on local support groups to help me gather needed baby supplies, let me bring my newborn to group sessions, and still to this day offer updated letters of completion and support. The counselors are able to connect with residents, as they have fought their own personal demons which makes sobriety feel so much more attainable.
Thanks Casa Clare, I wouldn't be an independent, sober mama that's about to graduate college if it weren't for your support and guidance lifting me up from rock bottom. You guys truly helped to save mine and my babies life. ❣️

Our son is just finishing his 4 week stay for marijuana addiction. i do not know how his long term recovery will go, but the staff at The Manor (particularly Dr Thomas) have been incredibly supportive to us. I did a tremendous amount of research prior to selecting The Manor. I have been reassured throughout this process by their caring staff. I'm so grateful that I found it.

My family was encouraging me to get help. I put it off as long as possible. If I was going to treatment, I wanted a very nice program and a private room. I finally went to The Manor. This place saved my life. The staff were very patient with me. I had been to treatment before but it was nothing like this program. I liked having individual therapy. Also, my wife and I had a lot of couples counseling. I was also able to do some work and that helped relieve stress about losing clients or my company. I have been home now for several months. It has been difficult at times but I am doing well. I have my life and my family back.

I was given an ultimatum by my wife. Go to The Manor or get a divorce. You do a lot of hard work there and within two weeks it was clear that my addiction to meth was a co addiction evolving primarily from my addiction to a controlling and mentally abusive wife. The staff is wonderful..they ask the tough questions but we do the work. I'm now happily divorced and drug free! Thank you to the amazing staff!

I had previously written a 3 star review due to a negative experience at a general check-up appointment. I am increasing it to 5 stars due to an emergency situation that was responded to wonderfully.
I came into the emergency room after 36 hours of labor elsewhere when my baby became stuck. The team of nurses took care of me and my baby so well. Dr Paula went over all my options with me and when we decided on a c-section, she performed it right away. Her and the nurses went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable. Highly recommend Dr Paula. I've had very negative experiences with doctors and hospitals in the past, but she's restored my faith and comfort!
Previous Review:
I was hoping to start going here for my appointments since I moved to Appleton, but I will still be traveling to my former hospital in Oshkosh. The phone operators/admin here don't seem to know what they need to and I ended up getting scheduled with a different type of doctor than what I asked for and for a completely different type of appointment, even after clarifying. The nurse and I had a laugh when we realized what had happened on the day of said appointment.
It also took an extremely long time to get my insurance information taken over the phone. It took repeating the same information multiple times and an hour phone call until they could schedule me.
The nurses were great though! Very kind and transparent. I see many people had positive experiences which is great.
I could've just gotten some people having busy days which it totally okay! I personally feel more comfortable continuing to go to my former hospital where they seem to be more reliable.

This is specifically for behavioral health and psychiatry. We have always been very happy here and have found all of the providers to be extremely understanding, empathetic and knowledgeable. They include you in treatment planning, are able to explain things when they don't make sense and honestly make the process easier. I did take off one star just because in situations where you might need urgent care or changes they aren't always able to meet that need. But again, overall they've been great and I highly recommend them.

We have adopted four children, all with special needs. Our current home study expires on May 20. Our current agency does not want to renew our study. They feel we are too old (in our 50's) and have enough children. We are saddened by the fact that we only need a renewal to add another child to our family.
Are you familiar with any agencies that would renew our study for us? Help with finalization and AA? Despite our ages? We have passed the background checks and physicals five times now. We have had local media write about us and USA today did a video about our family.
Even if we found our child tomorrow, we would not have time to remain with current study until finalization.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
