We need this agency to stay intact. All their programs are engineered to benefit not only the city of Sheboygan, but all the communities in all of Sheboygan county, whether the average person in any of our communities is acceptable or not. No one who works there is discriminatory and I have never experienced nasty behavior or disrespect on the department grounds.

My Daughter had service I would say from the age 2 1/2 until she was old enough where we could manage her structured adjusted lifestyle At around the age of six. Now at the age of 15 she is on the national honor Society and doing exceptional work in the community along with the Lincoln dance team and advanced in music and the arts. I think if it wasn’t for the in-home Therapy we did she wouldn’t be where she is now. For that I’m forever grateful.

I went to Casa and was so surprised by how wonderful it was. We really all become a family. I remember 2 girls were pregnant and worried about their babies. A girl named Haley was one of them pregnant girls and today she's been sober for almost 2 yrs. She had her beautiful son and is doing amazing. Has her own apartment and just doing such great things in her and her son's life. I know Casa Clare and friendships she had helped her so much. Casa Clare took me in the same week I called for help, after not showing up for 2 prior intake appointments. I was 38 weeks pregnant, I was deep in addiction, homeless, and lost. This program not only got me sober and offered support, they are the reason I was able to keep custody of my baby and continue to thrive almost 2 years later. They helped make postings on local support groups to help me gather needed baby supplies, let me bring my newborn to group sessions, and still to this day offer updated letters of completion and support. The counselors are able to connect with residents, as they have fought their own personal demons which makes sobriety feel so much more attainable. Thanks Casa Clare, I wouldn't be an independent, sober mama that's about to graduate college if it weren't for your support and guidance lifting me up from rock bottom. You guys truly helped to save mine and my babies life. ❣️

We have adopted four children, all with special needs. Our current home study expires on May 20. Our current agency does not want to renew our study. They feel we are too old (in our 50's) and have enough children. We are saddened by the fact that we only need a renewal to add another child to our family. Are you familiar with any agencies that would renew our study for us? Help with finalization and AA? Despite our ages? We have passed the background checks and physicals five times now. We have had local media write about us and USA today did a video about our family. Even if we found our child tomorrow, we would not have time to remain with current study until finalization. Best place for mental health, after winnebago it felt like heavens waiting room. it genuinely felt amazing to get the care ive been fighting my whole life for. Everyone seems to really understand the silent toll of mental health on an adult regardless of race, creed, financial and they understand the hardships that come with that. Staff makes you feel safe and protected without having to say anything to you, they let you know they're in your corner with a silent nod and help you understand the real reason you're there by giving you the time you need for peace. They also really listen to you when you talk and help with any issues you personally have.

St. Agnes had very kind and caring inpatient staff while my grandfather was in the hospital (8/21-8/24). He had to be transferred from their sister facility for a higher level of care. I work for a different Healthcare system as a cardiac RN, and I was really impressed by their cardiac surgeons and ICU staff and the timely updates from their 6th floor nurses once he was moved out of ICU. I want to thank Kiersten, ICU RN and the night RN (sorry I forgot her name, but she was also fantastic and precepting a male RN) who followed. Their expertise in post cardiac caths and events shined greatly and I was very comfortable with them caring for my grandfather. After he was moved to the 6th floor he asked his nurses there to update me. They called me (grandfather request) and did a good job of explaining what was going well and his plan of care for the rest of his stay. I had a decent amount of questions to say the least, so I appreciate their patience and providing any pertinent medical details. Their facility was very impressive and I didn't know St. Agnes had an new state of the art cardiac center and medical equipment. Also, shout out to Dr. Kwasi Dakwa, MD., the on staff Interventional Cardiologist, who was the surgeon and was also able to let us visually look at imaging for better understanding and letting us see the "before" and "after" procedure imaging and answer any questions.
