Awesome friendly staff and doctors!

The VA has been awesome minus, red tape and third parties that are out of their control. They are fantastic. The staff has been wonderful, kind, and explain things well. The multiple doctors we've encountered have been so compassionate. We truly appreciate their service to veterans.

My overall experience with Central WI Counseling Associates - having both therapy and medication care - has been nothing but positive.1. The administrative team are pleasant, prompt, and treat me with respect. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. I ve never experienced billing issues nor difficulties with scheduling an appointment.2. My therapist is an intuitive coach and empowering mentor. She listens, validates, and challenges me in all the ways needed. My sessions with her have led to increased self awareness and self love, and propel me to be my most authentic self. I am blessed to have such a skilled therapist in my corner.3. For about a year I d been considering whether to see a specialist about psychiatry medication but I never got myself to the point of taking action on it (partly due to stigma & worry). When I learned Justin Schuerman joined CWCA down the hall from my therapist, I decided to take the leap and ask for an appointment. This was one of the best decisions I ve made for myself in a long time. Justin has proven to be knowledgeable, experienced and skilled in his specialty while also being kind, considerate and demonstrating genuine interest and commitment toward my wellbeing and success. Talking to him is easy, I never feel rushed or unheard. I appreciate the time he takes to answer my questions and discuss options in a way that makes sense.If you ve been considering seeing a therapist for counseling or a specialist for psychiatry medication, don t put it off. There are good people out there doing great things for their clients, and I can personally attest to at least two of them at CWCA!

I cannot say enough great things about Central Wisconsin Counseling!! After a very painful breakup/bankruptcy/termination/court order all within months of each other, I found myself fearing I was in a permanent downward spiral. I was questioning my own sanity and worth, and needing therapy. Thankfully, I turned to Central Wisconsin Counseling in Wisconsin Rapids. I was pleased that i was able to be scheduled for a prompt appointment. Dr. Roger has been a great help to me with healing and moving forward to becoming the best version of myself. I was referred for a mental health evaluation, at my request, and look forward to my continued sessions with Dr. Roger as he is helping me to find the self I have lost. He has a professional, yet casual way of assisting me to find peace and love for myself, for which, i cannot express my gratitude enough. Booking appointments is easy and convenient and the staff goes above and beyond for their clients. The office, itself, is a very professional setting, but also has a comfort that puts you at ease-a necessity for me when I am most vulnerable.Literal. Lifesavers. Therapy is not something to fear or turn away from. If you are seeking help, I strongly recommend Central Wisconsin Counseling.

This is a good place to receive care in the wood county area. They really care about you and treat you with respect. They will find the right care plan that works best for you and work with you s and see you though your recovery.

Always supportive & eager to help me talk through various issues! I'm really happy to have started therapy here. Administrative staff is always super helpful and polite, too, so I hardly get phone anxiety about calling when that was one of my main struggles coming in.

I would definitely recommend Oswald Counseling. My therapist has been and continues to be very helpful and supportive in making me a better person by working through my issues in a positive, constructive manner. I can't say enough how appreciative I am to be a client.

I just left Portage County after the inpatient program. This is the best place to get sober and get the help you need. The staff is great and the patients there really care about one another.

Jeralyn is a great therapist. I highly recommend her for people seeking out help with trauma and that are interested in brainspotting. Brainspotting has been a transformative processing technique for me. With the help of Jeralyn I have overcome so much hardship and have grown out my depression and anxiety symptoms. I am grateful for all of Jeralyn s knowledge, understanding, compassion, and advice.

Jeralyn is an angel!!! I started working with her at a previous clinic to address complex trauma about 7 years ago. At that time, I moved my sister into my one bedroom to help with expenses, was on short term disability, and applying for SSDI.As one might imagine with complex trauma, I had a lot of barriers to my healing. Jeralyn was patient with me when I came back with the same sh!t over and over. Jeralyn is compassionate; every time I pushed her away and isolated myself, she allowed me the space I needed to come back. Jeralyn is gracious because she never once made me feel shame for pushing her away or that I needed to change anything about me. She accepted me exactly as I am then, now, and each step of the way.Seven years later, I've stepped into my power. I've reconnected with my soul and found my purpose. I've become an amazing parent, started school, and launched a business. All seven years after I thought there was nothing left for me but miserable memories.It was a gift from The Universe having her help me to first heal then grow. If you have an opportunity to get in the books, do it.

I have been coming here for almost 4 years now. The ladies at the front desk are always kind and helpful. I can only speak for my therapist and not the others, but my therapist is pretty awesome.

I searched for a long time for a therapist I connected with, felt comfortable being vulnerable to, and really listened with compassion.Highly recommend!!

Havent had a bad experience here. Everyone from the staff, nurses and doctors are friendly and professional. Clean building, not too packed usually.

My experience working on the vent unit was awesome. Great RTs, RNs, and CNAs. They were all knowledgeable and helpful to the best of their abilities. Definitely a great learning experience. I wouldn't hesitate to admit a family member to their ventilation unit.

November 21st, 2023 the day of my birthday. When i told everyone i am not feeling well. So, as I rested in my bedroom, feeling under the weather, I was abruptly unable to speak or move. Fortunately, my brother's swift action led him to call the ambulance, which rushed me to the Green Bay ICU to battle a respiratory flu and Covid. Subsequently, I was transferred to Mount View Care Center on Level 2, where I received outstanding care and support. And, I am forever more thankful for the care I received, particularly from Amy Martin, who demonstrated remarkable compassion and empathy. My experience with the ventilator community was profoundly inspiring, and I wouldn't change a thing. Much love and gratitude!

Anyone I've ever worked with here genuinely wants to help. They care about what I've got going on in my life and I can honestly say my quality of life has improved through the programs offered.

Wausau CTC is an amazing place to help one start the road to recovery. They have guided me through my journey in recovery and I'll forever be thankful to the staff. They offer many different types of groups to help clients learn how addiction works and how to overcome different situations and stay living a healthy balanced sober life. The counselors are amazing and very understanding as well as helpful with finding different resources in the community. I am very grateful to everyone there that has had a part in my journey. I would highly recommend someone to get help from Wausau Comprehensive Treatment Center if they are struggling from addiction. You will be welcome with open caring arms.

My family and I have attended this program for well over 30 yrs between here and appleton and I can say it has saved our lives. I recommend this treatment center all the time. My cousin was the first person to walk through the doors and my parents less then 10 others. I hope this program works for everyone that walks thru the doors.

I don't have enough good words that I can say about my counselor (Michelle) She has gone above and beyond to help me.. Even with things that have nothing to do with the clinic.. If there's something that I need help with.. She's right there to help.. I've never had a counselor that I could depend on as much as I can depend on her (even a counselor outside of the clinic).. She's definitely number one.. I'm not saying that there aren't other good counselors, because there are a couple just not many.. The ONLY thing that I would change about the Wausau clinic is the callback situation.. I just don't think it's fair that I've been clean for over 4 years, with no dirty UAs.. No missed callbacks.. No missed counseling appointments.. N I'm still having to come back in every other take home for a callback.. I feel that after even 2 or 3 years of NO wright ups.. There should these some kind of incentive to keep doing good N you would only have a call back every other month or every 3 months.. It just makes it hard to live a normal life.. When you know you can't because you could always get that callback, N you have to be there the next day.. but other than that I LOVE WAUSAU COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT CENTER..

Troy Lee and Sabrina Spatz are single-handedly the reason for the growth I've had in my mental health. To be honest based on the last place(arbor mental health services) I tried seeking help from with my mental health and the "answers" I got from that place made me very learly/nervous to reach out to anyone ever again to seek assistance with my mental health.Seeing the reveiws on NCHC made me even more worried that I was going to be treated like another number or just another person with a list of problems that don't matter. After a few sessions With Troy and Sabrina i realized quickly with how they communicated with me and how they treated me that I knew I was in the right place with people who actually cared and wanted to see my mental health successes.What Ive come to realize is that I get and understand the rap that this place gets. To be honest alot of it is probably people who are upset because they aren't getting what they want or what they think they need.Troy and Sabrina are the type of people who will listen to what you have to say, apply your situation to what they have learned and what they have been taught and will apply their knowledge to your situation for the best mental outcome of whatever it is your trying to accomplish mentally.Hats off to Troy Lee and Sabrina Spatz. You guys are what the mental health field truly needs to be able to find success in your mental health. The industry needs more people like Troy and Sabrina.

Was at facility for a lengthy period of time. Was so sick could not move in the bed. After a number of weeks the PT/OT got me to the point I could walk again. The nursing staff were always responsive and caring. Thanks to all of you

I was placed at Rawhide in 1972, for the summer camp program. I came away a changed youth. I returned to my hometown, and the high-school I had attended. It took a lot of work on my part, as well as the Lord's guidance, but I did graduate with my class. I know in the years since I was there, I had stumbled a few times, but the Lord with his grace, continues to bless me.Jan, John, Bart and Cherrie, saved my life! The way I was headed, I was sure to be in prison before long. I was able to return the life changing help later on in life, by serving on the board of directors for 12 years.

I was there as a troubled Youth in the early 2000s'at age 14 to 16, looking back now,I still had a long,long journey to recovery ahead of Me after I left,but the place did help alot,the staff were very patient and helpful,especially My therapist Sue Sheveland.This place left Me with great memories for a lifetime and I'm very thankful.

I'm consistently impressed with the skills that clients learn in the SAFE program at Peaceful Solutions. It's tough and forces individuals to think about their behavior from challenging perspectives (as other reviews demonstrate), but it creates positive change in individuals who engage in good faith.
