I owe everything in my amazing new (sober) life to Reprieve! I attended their 6 month residential treatment program and then stayed for 3 more months in sober living. I knew I needed to make a change in my behaviors, as well as take time to really learn about myself through in-depth therapy in an enclosed and safe environment. The Reprieve was the perfect place for me.The staff is the highlight for me - they each challenged and supported me in their own way. They were my biggest cheerleader and most patient confidant. They were in contact with my friends and family often. They set excellent examples of what it was like to be sober and have a wonderful and fulfilled life. I am still in touch with some of them today and I know they will always have my back.I appreciated the structured schedule of our days (groups, meals at consistent times, outings in the afternoons and meetings every evening). Groups like Life Skills, DBT Skills and going through the 12 steps gave me so many tools I didn t have before. I learned how to set boundaries, manage expectations, how to ask for what you want and be true to my own specific needs.Most importantly, I learned humility. I can acknowledge when I m wrong, I can recognize when I ve pushed my energy limit, and I m able to help another person who is struggling with no intention of personal gain. As a husband of someone who received treatment here I can honestly say I am very thankful for the staff that helped my wife in recovery. She quickly felt welcomed and was empowered in her recovery. Their Alumni and Family program continues the support after discharge. I came here needing a real change and that's what I got. The program is definitely tough but sometimes that's what you need to break old habits. It’s pretty structured, with a lot of discipline and no shortcuts allowed. What really stood out to me was how much they lean on the Bible and its teachings. It’s a big part of the healing here. I do wish I’d had a little more access to my kids or family during the program, but I get that they want you to stay focused on the program. It’s definitely not fancy but it’s a genuine place and they really help you. I’m grateful for the help I got to get started in recovery.

Nurses/dosing staff: 5/5Receptionist: 5/5Dr. Archibald: 2/5Counselors: 2/5Cleanliness: 3/5Safety: 4/5Parking Lot: 3/5Nurses/front desk/dosing staff are great, really sweet people who treat you like you're human. I love that THEY OFFER GRANTS that cover all or most of your treatment.Focus is definitely not on counseling here, and your experience can vary pretty widely depending on who you get. I'm currently on a by-the-book stickler counselor, but they never last long so hopefully my next one will be better. I think I've had 5+ counselors I've gone through in less than a year because they come and go so quickly.Dr. Archibald tends to be less than sympathetic to addicts. I'm not sure why people like that work in these places but I guess maybe they start wanting to help then get jaded. One good thing about him though is that he'll prescribe narcotics like Xanax and Adderall on top of the Methadone if you play your cards right.

I learned those are people who are there to help you and they are actually very serious about health and recovery. Now I am a happy, functioning, productive member of society. Counselors knew where to take me and were non-judgemental. Everyone acts as if you are the only client because they give you their full attention (and there is a lot of people coming really)

Friendship happens the moment I realize I m not the only one. I showed up at Turning Point believing the lies of fear and shame, alone and ready to get it over with. But God showed up every day in the words and actions of the instructors and other residents who were also bent but not broken. Turning Point surprised me with grace and prepared me for a more disciplined life of service and recovery. 90 days at Turning Point gave me a future and a hope.

I spent the whole 90 days there being guided through a journey of unlearning a lot of preconceived notions that were not working at all. 40 years of emotional weight was removed by the awesome staff loving me where I was while helping me remove so much junk at my own pace. They patiently held the light and encouraged me while I did the work. God bless them eternally for that kind of love! It works if you work it. And. How free do you want to be?

The Foundry has helped me totally transform my life! I battled addiction for 26 years. With the help of The Foundry I was able to break those chains that held me down for so long. I have to give all the Glory to God, but they have created an environment that nurishes the body,mind, and spirit! They teach people that we're not perfect, we can't let our past define us, and how important your relationshio with God plays in recovery! The place is not perfect but I am giving The Foundry a 5 star rating because Absolutely Everything You need to change is there. I'd like to personally thank each and every staff member there because of there dilligance in helping make a change in so many peoples lives!
