I pray that whomever is reading these words know that many join you with prayers that brought you here. WE are not alone"He's the worst if the worst..."A brief observation by Florida Criminal Judge Charlie Crawford just prior to my fall. Again!!! How to cope with this life I chose? My heart knew that the pain of remaining the same was becoming greater than the pain of changing. One day I learned that I could live a good life. Even while locked up.MIRACLES HAPPENED for me 19 years ago, lets just say: "I'm out."Blessed with knowledge that I chose to accept and understand I became clean in prison, with a goal of sobriety. Prison life was easy for me. It was indeed a mind**** yeah, but would not choose to risk going to a place I feared, so maintaining my 55 year heroin addiction was always enabled. I loved my drug, and hated my life and this recovery stuff is painful. But beautiful.NEW SEASONS has been paramount in my support. The counselors that I have learned from and confided in are wonderful people, that I believe have a genuine purpose of helping & loving others. If you feel that you need this then you're probably right. Hopelessness sucks!#StayTheCourse
