Absolutely love this place it was exactly what I needed for my beginning journey into recovery!! And the housekeeper Tiffany made it even more comfortable by making sure I had the right blankets and pillows for a good nights rest and every time she cleaned my cabin it was exceptionally clean!! The counselors are amazing! The owner Matt Long might be rough on you but it’s only to help you know and learn the skills needed for your recovery and he truly cares about the clients coming in!! Recommend for anyone looking into getting help for their addiction

This is the most amazing rehab facility I’ve ever been to the owner is so understanding and cares about each individual person and the staff are just amazing people and understand addiction I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone they have helped me so much on my journey here I’m still here and working on my recovery but they are maken the process as painless as possible I love this place and can’t wait to over come my addiction

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like this one needed to be written. Matt Lapham has been one of the biggest blessings during my time at True Self. What makes Matt different is that he has been where many of us have been. He understands the struggles, the setbacks, and the challenges of recovery because he’s lived it himself. That experience allows him to connect with people in a way that can’t be taught. Matt goes above and beyond for every single client, often without looking for any recognition. Whether it’s making sure someone has hygiene products, helping people find clothes and socks, taking clients to food banks, or simply being there when someone needs support, he’s always finding ways to help. If someone is in need, Matt is usually already working on a solution before they even have to ask. One thing that always stands out is the way he takes care of everyone at the house. He cooks dinner every night without complaint, and somehow manages to make it feel like a home instead of just a place to stay. The meals are always great, and it’s clear he puts his heart into everything he does. Matt also teaches classes at True Self, and every class leaves an impact. He has a way of making people think deeply about their recovery, their choices, and their future. Even when he doubts himself or feels like he could have done better, those of us listening know he’s doing an amazing job. His honesty, experience, and passion for helping others come through every time he speaks. True Self is fortunate to have someone like Matt Lapham. The amount of time, energy, and compassion he pours into helping others is truly inspiring. I was able to get the best help I was able to get. Piney ridge helped me throughout the way. They have great staff and administration personnel that are there to truly help kids in the United States. I have read most of the reviews for this place. I know I cannot speak to the other families experiences but I can try to explain ours. We had a child go through this program from July 2023-January 2024. Of course during that time we dearly missed our child. At first, we were extremely skeptical of the staff and the changes in therapists when he started. I know these places have turn-over and it concerned us. But we moved forward with them. Our story has a fantastic finish. He made it through the program and was deemed ready to come back to us. The therapists and nurses there were fantastic, in keeping us informed of his progress. We attended all the visitations, day passes, overnite passes and family sessions throughout the process. What we seen in return was a confused child going in but a changed young man coming out. He changed drastically in his thought process and his coping skills. We could see the changes as he moved through the program. We can't say enough about the results for our family and owe this facility all the credit for helping us get back our young man, no longer confused about his place in our family. I don't know enough of the names of the staff but EVERYONE involved at the facility showed us patience, compassion and caring for our child. At the first day we met with our intake person, the nurses who would care for him and later that week the assigned therapist(s). Everyone showed us understanding with this traumatic transition. They provided resources and responses for our questions. These folks have such a hard job treating these lost kids. We have the upmost respect for everything they do. Give this place a try and follow their steps. I'm sure you will see the results.

I love this place i was a resident at PRTC from 9/29/22-6/30/23 I had a great expierence here and learning new thing the staff is so supportive i appreciate every staff on the girls unit(East) and my therapist(best therapist i have ever had) Thank you Ms.Ryan.C and Ms.Kourtney.H i appreciate you guys so much you both have helped me through the toughest time i had at PRTC you both were there for me when i was self-harming, Trying to end my life, acting out, fighting and when i had panic attacks i still have the notes that you both gave me they stay in my wallet and i read them when i miss you guys i still have the cow stuff animal from Ms.Kourtney i sleep with it because i feel safe when i have it because i know who gave it to me and that the person who gave it to me cares and was a safe person i got comfortable with. I miss you guys and thank you every one for everything you guys did to help me get through treatment. I miss you Ms.Ryan and Ms.Kourtney and i love you guys with boundaries also thank you Ms.Sch'Vannia for helping me and discharging me On june 30th. The only place in town that I could find a cognitive therapist . PTSD is difficult but with a cognitive therapist I came a long way. Highly recommend for your mental health issues . Several different psychiatry and therapist depending on your needs and type of health problem. Only issue is hello, We need a cognitive therapist in Branson Missouri. When I first got to vantage point I was Freaking out because I was scared that vantage point would be like any other facility. But I had kind gentle staff who calmed me down and I realized that vantage point was not going to be like any other facility. I wanted to say that vantage point is the best place to go for help. I came here to have my third C-section and my third child. They found out I was carrying a trait when the other hospitals couldn't. They made my c-section as painless as possible. Dr jett did amazing. The staff the nurses they're all very kind and helpful and didn't give me any reasons to worry about my child safety. They made sure I had breakfast lunch and dinner even when I didn't call. They didn't pressure me to move around too much and I was able to heal up perfect. If I would trust anyone to go to during labor this would definitely be the place and these would definitely be the people. I'm extremely impressed with labor and delivery here. I had so much fear and worries because the previous hospital caused me and my children a lot of issues and even death. This place treated everything important as it is. Shout out to all of their staff. Thank you guys very much for making my last pregnancy as beautiful as it should be.

Well, I agree. It’s all how you look at it. My son was a Serious alcoholic and needed work in every area of his life. It takes serious boundaries and serious rules to get somebody to get out of their addiction and living a productive life. I absolutely thank God for this place and I thank God that they are men and women that are giving their lives to work and help these people and I absolutely love Steve Duncan. He may be rude to some people but I bet it’s because they push the boundary so far he has no other way to get to them, but just to tell them like it is. I know my son and I have had serious arguments where I’ve gotten rude, but he doesn’t listen to anything else. This is his third time in there, but he’s ready and he’s On his way to living a good life! Every time I’m out there or talk to anybody, they are just so respectful and so caring and so nice! Thank you everybody at CAAIR And I recommend you guys to everybody. I love you guys and thank God for you.

Next to Coast Guard basic training this was the toughest thing I ever did, but most rewarding. Life is tough. Not just addiction, but life. To reach your goals takes determination and CAAIR helps you find that. A year is a short time of your life, but to dedicate one year it will drive you through life's many trials and tribulations.
