What I loved about Harbor House is a lot of the staff went through there too, so they know what they're talking about. I worked in the kitchen, which really helped in preparing me to show up on time and take pride in what I do. It was nothing like I thought it was going to be and I'm very glad I went.

I did their residential treatment, and I couldn't ask for a better place. They work it as an individual recovery, where you choose the rhythm and steps for recovery. I can only say good things about all of this, I have an amazing amount of gratitude for everyone that works here. Probably I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them. Thank you so much!

Over the past few years I've used this hospital 3x and all 3 were extremely good experiences.
1st time was therapy after shoulder surgery - fast, convenient, pleasant & helpful staff.
2nd was for a colonoscopy - admitted and settled into my, very nice & large private room within 10 mins. Then immediately prepped and wheeled into a room just a few doors down for the medical procedure. The Dr & staff were pleasant, professional & polite. They made me feel comfortable for what is a uncomfortable experience to many of us. Next thing I see is my wife relaxing on the sofa in my hospital room. Start to finish for whole experience was just over a hour. Im telling you from time we parked (just 2 spots from front door!) to the time we pulled out was under a hour and a half! It was closer to just an hour! Wow!
3rd ER - most recently I went to ER and as in the past we parked just feet from front door. Was immediately admitted & taken back to see a doctor, Dr Bolt was on duty and my wife and I found him to be polite & intelligent with a good bedside manner. In fact, unlike another review I read on here about the ER, all 3 hospital employees we dealt with were very pleasant and professional. I don't remember the lady's name who admitted us but non the less she did her job quickly and with a smile on her face. The nurse, wish I could remember her name, was also professional, polite and friendly. I don't understand why some people haven't had the all star experiences I've had, maybe they haven't been anywhere else and just don't know how great it really is at Van Buren Baptist Health.

I have always had great service but this morning going in at 4 o’clock in the morning for mild hives. They were so understanding and they got right on it. I wasn’t in there no longer than 30 minutes. And finding my nurses name right off hand she was absolutely outstanding the best great job Baptist health!!!!

I absolutely love Dr. Dalai. He has put the time & work in no matter what road blocks we hit. I’ve fought many demons that he has helped me understand. I couldn’t have done it without him and his amazing staff.. shoutout to Bri and all the other nurses who put up with my horrible anxiety. They all pitch in to help, I’ve even had to wonderful chance to meet the officer manager who isn’t afraid to jump in there and help with patients. I look forward to my visits every time and that says a lot about someone who doesn’t like to leave the house. All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the staff.

I love that place. It's expensive, but so is drug addiction. We need more places like that in the river valley. I don't understand why we don't have them. If you were like me and looking for a miracle this is the place. If you want your sobriety you have to try. The staff there is super nice and willing to help you in any way they can. This was a great place for me. To get the attention i needed. They were able to get me to sleep comfortably. And got my medications adjusted and helped me get into an insurance that i could afford. I wanted to share my experience here as there are a lot of negative reviews. I was here for a week and I actually enjoyed it here. The nurses are really nice and the food is great. I would make a few changes though. Like better bedding and more blankets. Otherwise, I was treated wirh respect and fairness and learned a lot. Thank you for all the help!

As a mother who's seen her son relapse more than once, I truly appreciated the patience and professionalism here. The counselors explained things to me clear and didn’t rush us. What can I say, therapists are like a box of chocolates. Most are okay but only a few are really good.
Chevy is that few....
I was in the mental health industry for years and finally have needed it myself through some struggles, seeing both sides of the spectrum I'm pretty appreciative of him and what he does for others.
He pays extreme attention to detail and will likely know you before you even explain yourself all the way.
He CARES about his individual patients, to a level I haven't seen with some of my other therapists in the past.
He's always more than willing to work with you on timing and scheduling.
If you find yourself needing some mental health support this is the place to go.

I was admitted for pneumonia, low grade fever and whelps all over my body. My wife brought me into the ER in a wheelchair due to dizziness and weakness. The ER got me admitted quickly and the ER staff began to immediately assess my well being and symptoms. Even though there was a sudden influx of several more patients into ER, the staff took vitals, blood, and X ray of my lungs and determined I needed a CT scan. They kept my wife apprised of results. I was moved to Gen Surg where I stayed for 5 days. The staff on that floor communicated and worked as a team to not only treat my pneumonia effectively, but the other patients as well. The EOMC may not have sparkling painted walls, but it is a Community Hospital that has caring, professional staff, clean rooms and good food. Although the hospital may not be able to treat every ailment, the hospital staff knows their limits and will send patients to larger hospitals if that is the need. They are a part of Poteau’s community and they serve us well.

We had our family member that had to stay a couple days in the hospital on med surge and let me tell you the staff there was absolutely wonderful! Nurses were so supportive and kind! The nurse Bethany and the CNA Kalli were so sweet and kind and showed what real care and compassion is even when she was afraid of being alone because being hospitalized is no fun! She stated they treated her like family and took away the fear of being alone and that speaks volumes and shows there is still kindness and compassion in the healthcare profession! Thank you guys greatly! We love our EOMC hospital in Leflore county!

I was recently there for a two night stay. Aside from the ER registration lady being inattentive and less than friendly my stay was very comfortable. The ER nurses, floor nurses, aides, and the APRN Ms.Davis were all extremely caring and thoughtful to myself and my family. Being hospitalized is not on anyone’s to do list but the staff made it as comfortable as possible.

This place is truly amazing. We transfered from the guidance center and it was the best decision ever made. We followed Dr. Elliton and we dont regret it at all, my son was thier first patient but after a few appointments I decided I would give them a try. I have been to many over that last decade and did just give up but Lacy was so kind and friendly as well as Jesse that I figured what the heck do I have to lose. I made an appointment and learned that for years I have been misdiagnosed and when I seen Dr Witherington for the first time I felt heard. This office is small but that is the best part for anyone with anxiety, and everyone is so welcoming. My son dont fight to go like he has before with other places. To us we are not just a patient they make us feel like we are friends and that we matter just as much as the next person that walks through the door.

They are actually really good and nice people. There is nothing wrong with this place. They have been nothing but kind. There is no urine on the walls and tanner the poodle in professional. If anything the people giving bad reviews haven’t actually experienced being here. If you go to any therapist office especially a small one like this they can’t fit everyone in. If you really are having mental health issues you need to get help from places that deal with that. This is therapy. Not a place where they constantly have room for everyone. It’s your job to show up. It’s your job to get help if you need it. The size of this building is small. They can’t fit hundreds of people like you wish. You can’t demand to be here. You have to wait your turn. If your mentally unstable and your going to do something then go to a hospital instead of yelling at the staff here. They are incredible people.

I have been going to this place for a good while and have been satisfied every time. Lacey at the front desk does an excellent job in keeping everything organized. Not only is Dr Witherington thorough, efficient and friendly, he’s the absolute best! I have no complaints about Serenity Counseling.
