I was admitted for pneumonia, low grade fever and whelps all over my body. My wife brought me into the ER in a wheelchair due to dizziness and weakness. The ER got me admitted quickly and the ER staff began to immediately assess my well being and symptoms. Even though there was a sudden influx of several more patients into ER, the staff took vitals, blood, and X ray of my lungs and determined I needed a CT scan. They kept my wife apprised of results. I was moved to Gen Surg where I stayed for 5 days. The staff on that floor communicated and worked as a team to not only treat my pneumonia effectively, but the other patients as well. The EOMC may not have sparkling painted walls, but it is a Community Hospital that has caring, professional staff, clean rooms and good food. Although the hospital may not be able to treat every ailment, the hospital staff knows their limits and will send patients to larger hospitals if that is the need. They are a part of Poteau’s community and they serve us well.

We had our family member that had to stay a couple days in the hospital on med surge and let me tell you the staff there was absolutely wonderful! Nurses were so supportive and kind! The nurse Bethany and the CNA Kalli were so sweet and kind and showed what real care and compassion is even when she was afraid of being alone because being hospitalized is no fun! She stated they treated her like family and took away the fear of being alone and that speaks volumes and shows there is still kindness and compassion in the healthcare profession! Thank you guys greatly! We love our EOMC hospital in Leflore county!

I was recently there for a two night stay. Aside from the ER registration lady being inattentive and less than friendly my stay was very comfortable. The ER nurses, floor nurses, aides, and the APRN Ms.Davis were all extremely caring and thoughtful to myself and my family. Being hospitalized is not on anyone’s to do list but the staff made it as comfortable as possible.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Leslie Hughes and her nurse (cannot remember her name im sorry) very thoughtful, thorough, warm, professional. The woman who did my labs also was awesome. Thank you! I need to add that Redbird dental clinic is absolutely wonderful. Dr. Beavers and also the dentist i usually see (young woman with red hair) are so professional and kind and extremely good at what they do. I absolutely love Dr. Dalai. He has put the time & work in no matter what road blocks we hit. I’ve fought many demons that he has helped me understand. I couldn’t have done it without him and his amazing staff.. shoutout to Bri and all the other nurses who put up with my horrible anxiety. They all pitch in to help, I’ve even had the wonderful chance to meet the officer manager who isn’t afraid to jump in there and help with patients. I look forward to my visits every time and that says a lot about someone who doesn’t like to leave the house. All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the staff.

This was a great place for me. To get the attention i needed. They were able to get me to sleep comfortably. And got my medications adjusted and helped me get into an insurance that i could afford. My only complaint is I have had trouble with the following up. I was hoping to get a pcp in their network.

I wanted to share my experience here as there are a lot of negative reviews. I was here for a week and I actually enjoyed it here. The nurses are really nice and the food is great. I would make a few changes though. Like better bedding and more blankets. Otherwise, I was treated wirh respect and fairness and learned a lot. Thank you for all the help!

This is probably the best office I have ever been to for my mental health issues. At first I didnt understand why I had to have so many appointments and assessments just to get started, but I completely get it now. I am getting complete and thorough care, which requires a complete and thorough assessment. My med aprn is fantastic, and worked with me to get back on a proper dosage and has followed me closely ever since. My therapist is so easy to talk to and doesn't expect a breakthrough every session. Sometimes she just lets me ramble which is what I need to put my thoughts in order. Wish I could give yall more than 5 stars.

What can I say, therapists are like a box of chocolates. Most are okay but only a few are really good. Chevy is that few.... I was in the mental health industry for years and finally have needed it myself through some struggles, seeing both sides of the spectrum I'm pretty appreciative of him and what he does for others. He pays extreme attention to detail and will likely know you before you even explain yourself all the way. He CARES about his individual patients, to a level I haven't seen with some of my other therapists in the past. He's always more than willing to work with you on timing and scheduling. If you find yourself needing some mental health support this is the place to go.
