My counselor Morgan had a baby and is no longer there and I now have Stephanie Paige via telehealth and she is an absolutely a life saver! She has helped me through the worst of times and helped me see myself as worthy and I consider her one of the truest realest people I know, Mr.Terry, Margaret, Jasmine, Jean, Dr.Atchley and the nurses are all truly here for us to help us recover!! I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the Lord and their support!!!🙏❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ UPDATE 6/28/21: This place is still the absolute best! My permanent counsler MORGAN is literally the BEST!! SHE IS THERE FOR ME 1000%! I just had to include her in my review because she desevers it, along with Mr.Terry , Mrs.Margret, Mrs.Michelle(who has helped me soo much in the financial/insurance department) & EVERY SINGLE booth doser there, they have all truly helped save my life!...now onto my original review.. 4/2020 I transferred here from Huntsville Recovery and I am SO GLAD I DID!! Huntsville Recovery has great staff but the doctor there doesn't care AT ALL about her patients, neither did any of my counselors. While at Huntsville Metro/New Seasons they got me in and tried their best to fix what Huntsville's Recovery wronged, they truly care! This place is amazing! Without them I would have had to continue to endure going to a place that treated me like just another worthless addict even though ive had over a year of clean drug screens! Huntsville metro treatment me great and really cares for everyone, my intake counsler, ANA listened, talked with me and took care of every single concern or issue I had and the doctor there DRr.ATCHLEY tries every way possible to help you he gives you tons of info and is just an all around great guy!! I have had Greaaaaattttt counselors here who are very helpful and not overly strict when you have earned that right but I've also had others who are not great counselors and clearly do not want to be there. I have upped my review to 4 of 5 stars because I finnaly have a amazing counselor again. Still could be better im a 32 year old perfectly healthy young man and a physical being required every 3 months is just ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if I didnt have to wait 2 hours+ to even see the doctor for that physical. Also not being aloud to dose untill completing my physical is ridiculous since the wait time is so long. Concerns you voice are taken seriously, and your input is considered regarding your own treatment. I was tested and evaluated by Dr. Hirsh in 2021. She was extremely kind and very professional. She cares a lot for her job and her patients. I recently have had to get my youngest daughter tested for autism and adhd and so far our experiences have been pleasant. When we couldn't make it to the office, due to sickness, Dr. Hirsh was kind enough to let us keep our appointment and do our appointment through video call. We will have her testing done here soon and I'm sure that will go just as pleasantly as the rest of our visits here. Many of them were good, some were new and some just plain mean. But, when I moved back to Huntsville Alabama I got Angela. She is truly a great counselor.She understands me on a different level then any other counselor. She doesn't just go over problems , she comes with solutions. The Common Denominator 3 weeks ago I went here for a little bit (I’m under 18 this is on a burner) and the week staff is amazing for the adolescent care. I was there for 3 days, and there was the most sweetest staff there, I want to say thank you to Mrs.Mary. She really made me realize that I wasn’t crazy and I was just in pain. I wasn’t treated crazy, I was treated like a normal person which was kinda shocking to me. The food was ok, wish they had fresher things. I got seen by the psychologist almost immediately. And got diagnosed quickly. They also heard me when I would ask for things and got it done quickly. I was there for only half a day for the weekend staff..if I’m being honest they were a bit intimidating. I recommend if your child is struggling have them stay here for a little bit. In an industry that in my experience often feels like an abuse of government funding "all about the money" environment His Way is different. I could immediately feel His presence through the genuinely sincere treatment from all their staff. Probably the biggest thing that sets them apart is the planned exit strategy for re-entering the world outside of the guide rails implemented within their program. They set you up for success moving forward which if you choose may include one of their transitional housing options. I am several years removed from my stay there but anytime I visit I am still greeted with a warm reception. They treat me like family and I make it a point to attend church with several members of the staff anytime I'm in the Huntsville area. Highly recommend! I came here from being in treatment for 5 months. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. My life is the greatest that it’s ever been. Stepping stones played a huge part in it. It gave me the opportunity to get a full time job go to aa meetings and make friends that were battling addiction like I was. I been here for two years now. I have a roommates that I considered my family. I have a career job.
