Walking through the doors of Silver Pines is life changing, for sure. Everyone is so understanding, informative and genuine. I feel safe coming to SP knowing that I don’t have to be ashamed of mental health or co-occurring disorders. The facility is broken up into different sections. There is a detox, men’s residential, women’s residential and a mental health section. As a resident at SP we all co exist under the same roof. It’s amazing how diverse everyone is. I love getting to know each other and allowing ourselves to open ourselves up in order to heal. I’ve seen a lot of us come in a mess and leave these doors with a plan on how to cope and heal. The facilitators come up with an after plan and it’s up to us as individuals to follow through with it. I have reached out to Jenn C., Chelsea and Randy in times of trouble and they have always had my back and always welcomed me with open arms. If you struggle to pay financially the finance department is willing to work with you when having to pay anything. We eat three times daily and you can substitutions if need be. We have a black out period of a week where we don’t really have the freedom of using our phones. This is the first facility that allows me to use my phone at certain times. They are lenient if you have school or work related things going on. If you need to make court, medical appointments or have an interview they can take you. The facility brings in H and I Na meetings and AA meetings. The food is good and there are plenty of snacks. There are nurses there 24/7. The bonds that I have made in this facility is unbreakable. I have so much love to SP. Thank you 🙏

Silver Pines is a highly effective behavioral health treatment facility. Intake is very smooth and efficient. They understand how difficult it can be to ask for help and are very accommodating through the entire process. They even offer intake and completion transport to and from the facility. Silver Pines provides clients with a top notch medical program, case management, individual therapy with a set therapist, highly detailed daily programming, family support, community support, an on-site gym, and the food and beverages provided are plenty. Personally Silver Pines brought me in swiftly yet treated me very attentively and thoroughly yielding great results for both my mental and physical health. Silver Pines also treats all of their alumni as part of the family and are always willing to assist those that journey with them throughout their stay and beyond.

Silver Pines is def the best treatment facility I been to, there are pretty much no complaints about it. The staff genuinely care about you and made me feel loved which I appreciate so much ofc. They make recovery fun!! The food is so good and they be getting the best snacks sometimes. You get so much out of being here if you really care. I like how they run things here, like the groups or fun activities etc. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re ready to get sober. They help you with anything you need. 🙂

I had to go to the emergency room today following an episode of severe abdominal pain. I was scared and concerned and dreading going to the emergency room based on previous experiences but felt it was necessary. Everyone at Mills from the check-in desk all the way through to the doctors in the ER the CT folks, the nurses, even the gentleman who came in to empty our trash were amazing and compassionate. I don’t know if it’s a policy at your hospital, but every person we came in contact with always departed with the word; I hope you feel better soon. Something about that was just so kind and comforting. Everything turned out OK and I was so glad that I came and so appreciative to all of your folks. Shout out to our nurse, Gabby and Dr Ross. The staff has been so supportive, they truly care about your well being and want you to succeed and have a brighter future. Grateful.I checked into Vinland Center in Loretto on Nov 6th with a broken body and depression/addiction issues.Luckily my faith and spirit were intact.This organization specializes in physical therapy/addiction/mental health and head trauma.Peace out to Physical Therapist Jeff Willert.This guy is a world class trainer working for the Minnesota Vikings for many years.He convinced me how important nutrition and exercise is.There entire staff is top notch I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them if you need treatment.Even with two pending surgeries on my right knee and back I pushed my way thru there program.I got out and moved into The Retreat mansion on Summit on Jan 30th.have not had fast food since October.I only eat fresh food and lots of veggies and fruit very few carbs and almost no sugar.My blood pressure and blood sugar levels are normal.I have lost 20 pounds and have no had alcohol since October as well.I am sick with Covid right now on my bday.Yet I feel incredibly lucky and blessed for my family and support system.Very thankful for the state of Minnesota,Vinland Center and The Retreat.I am humbled and overwhelmed with the bday wishes which I will def respond too.I would rather be sick on my bday then drunk and lonely no question about that.Hooray for 54 and if I keep living healthy there will be many more.Especially grateful for my savior Jesus Crist if my life isnt #purposedriven then I have no life.LOVE AND SERVICE.#vinlandcenter #TheRetreat #kanesword #recoveryworks #fitness

My experience at Vinland was inspiring to me. It helped me with a lot of time to reflect on myself. It let me get back into practicing routine. Participating in groups and meetings. Started to eat healthier. I got back into shape by exercising. Including running again after years of not. Having the opportunity to appreciate nature again. I have been to several treatment facilities and this one is by far the best one i have been to. Not only is the facility clean and well kept, the faculty that works there have amazing hearts. This is the only treatment facility that i have been to where the staff actually genuinely care for you and your recovery/well being. They have a unique treatment plan that works. Unlike many places I have been to instead of boring you to death, they actually make recovery fun, which in my experience has a lot to do with being able to succeed in recovery. I have recommended multiple friends and family members to go here when they are struggling with addiction and will continue to recommend Steps to Recovery to anyone who asks how i got clean and remained clean. I owe my life and my recovery to these people and they will always have a special place in my heart.

I recently “graduated” from STR. I was in programming between May to September, originally PHP and then in the IOP mental health program. While in PHP I was in housing as well. There are family sessions offered too, but I did not utilize that service while at STR.
While the house I was at was not perfect, administration tried their best to accommodate every concern clients had with the house. It was overall a clean and safe environment to live in. If there are any concerns advocate for yourself and ask a tech to call a house meeting if it is an interpersonal issue within the house. If you have a different issue communicate that to the director and it will most likely be handled promptly.
The PHP (partial hospitalization program) for mental health is six days a week, 9am-1:30 Monday-Friday and 9am-12pm Saturdays. The program changes as needs change. When I first began there process groups were three hours long, but when I left they were two hours long with an additional hour of psych ed. While the day may seem long, everyone gets a break between noon and 12:30. Afternoon there are different types of therapy everyday like art therapy, DBT, CBT.
IOP (intensive outpatient program) is only 9am-12pm three days a week, usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The director is accommodating though so if for any reason you need to not go on a Monday, you could always go on a Saturday if you advocate for yourself.
You’ll have one individual session a week with one of the clinicians. I had Ashley and she is phenomenal. While the staff really do care about the clients, Ashley definitely cares about clients and it shows in her work.
You’ll also have a session with either Dr. Newman or Monique once a week to go over medications they are both amazing!
STR is shaped not just by the staff, but clientele too. I have reinforced and grew my support system while being at STR. And while I was in the mental health program, I have substance use disorder as well, I’d recommend Steps to recovery struggling with their mental health or substance use. It may take a couple of weeks to really settle into the program, but continue to do the work since you are worth it and advocate for yourself if something isn’t working for you.
STR is also a great facility if you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community. The staff here are not just accepting, but affirming. There is an optional LGBTQ+ group once a week with Christian, which was my favorite part of the week.

My wife, Nancy and I could not be happier with the people and program at ERS. There’s no doubt in my mind that the welfare and success of each client is at the forefront of everything they do. Our 21 year old grandson entered the Watsonville center lost ,angry ,hurt with no direction relying on drugs and alcohol to ease his pain. ERS provided him with the tools and support he needed to lift himself out of this destructive path and give hope to a new beginning living in sobriety. He has grown so much over the past few months and takes with him so many life skills both new and rediscovered. I see confidence again and a self love that had been buried for a long time.
The program is progress based and not rushed giving him time to truly work on his issues that are unique to him and his sobriety. The staff there truly care and are able to understand and mentor since many have been through the program themselves…they get it.
The communication with the Family Support staff was very, very good. Caitlin was so helpful and informative and able to ease our anxieties along the way. We were kept informed regularly of his progress and his struggles and hear how we might best support him.
As our grandson had pending legal problems as many newly in recovery do and ERS was even able to support this aspect of recovery by providing transportation to his court ordered appearances, helping him with his goal to be a responsible adult….many thanks to Arthur for all his support in this area. We are so very grateful and highly recommend Elevate Recovery Services !

This place has saved my life! Great program great staff 5/15/25 an update since first review: I have now completed the program here at SRC and its been the most amazing beautiful experience here! From the 2 week residential then to the IOP living at Trullies for 90 days, then completing the rest of IOP while I moved to sober living. Everyone from the CEO Lee to the therapist’s to the facilitators, to the behavioral health staff, peer support staff, case managers, and receptionist they all work together closely for each individual patient and their case while they are apart of SRC. Each phase of the program is held delicate for the patient’s, to make it a smooth transition on each phase. They offer OP (outpatient) for the patient’s that have graduated so they still get continued doctor’s appointments, and still are able to have therapy with the therapist that has been with the patient through out the whole program. SRC has offered my life back to me, has taught me many coping skills, relapse prevention skills, trauma therapy, communication skills. They offer job support, housing, reentry programs, medication management. I HIGHLY recommend SRC for substance abuse and mental health treatment. They have a wonderful detox center, that doesn’t make you feel shameful. If you are needing help, there is no reason to look anywhere else. This place has saved many lives from experience and me personally witnessing it myself.

A few months ago I experienced an episode of major depression and had lost all hope. I was hospitalised multiple times until I ended up at Lifeskills long-term residential program. Coming to Lifeskills was one of the best decisions I ever made, I learned how to cope with my mental illness through individual and group therapy sessions while living in a community setting where I could lean on my peers for support. Dr. Despina and Dr. Mirella are amazing, it was a blessing to have them as my therapists. I would highly recommend this place to anyone struggling with mental illness, as it will teach you how to navigate life and be the best possible version of yourself.

Life skills was a life changing experience for me. I learned many valuable ways of dealing with and processing my emotions. I am now much more capable of self regulation. Having a wiser and more mature mind is a credit to the great teachers at life skills. The staff is truly a blessing. Some of us definitely did not want to be there at times. However we needed the help and support we were given. As long as you let your defenses down and learn you will succeed. You will get out of the program what you put into it. There is great value in the skills you learn while working on yourself at lifeskills. It’s not easy but it is the struggles in life that teach us the most.

Hello my name is Adam. I came to Reign about a month ago. I came from NJ and enrolled to the treatment center because I was struggling with some mental health symptoms that were unmanageable with life and needed assistance with getting myself back on track. The admissions team was so helpful and supportive, they were there when I was making my 22 hour drive. Jake, Benzi, Justin, and Morgan were so supportive on my drive. When I arrived at the facility and during the duration of my stay Corey the primary therapist was very friendly and welcoming. He wasn t like normal therapists where you would have your 30 min session and you re out but he gave me as much time as I needed and let me use my phone and make calls as much as I wanted to do. Then there was Brantley the operations manager and he Was just the absolute best. I developed a great friendship with him and every night we had a thing where we watch movies together. Gina was a great group facilitator and had very informative groups. Overall I had an amazing life changing experience,
