They have a pool and a Jacuzzi and an amazing staff!! Elevate helped save my son’s life! One year ago, I was on a desperate search for a place that would help my son quit drinking. I went online and was so overwhelmed with all the choices! I called a couple places and was not impressed with what they offered.
I prayed to God He would lead me to the right place, and He did! The 3rd place I called, this nice guy named Josh answered, and right away, we connected. I asked questions, he asked questions. What I loved about what he said, was that they did not rely on prescribing a bunch of meds to “fix” my son, but offered an in depth program that included exercise as part of the journey to recovery, and to ultimately learn to not rely on anything to self medicate ever again.
Ding! I knew he would love something like this, and the more Josh talked, the more I wanted to get my son on a plane! Of course, the final decision was up to him, and at that point, he was ready for a major change, and trusted my judgement. Thank God!
Within days, my son was up north and that was the beginning of his new life because today marks his ONE YEAR from not having a drop of alcohol! In fact, he liked Elevate so much, he stayed up there, trained heavily for 3 months, and is now an employee who helps counsel new clients. He earned Employee of the Month last month and I couldn’t be more proud of the hard work he did and does for himself.
I can’t thank Elevate enough for the part they played in his recovery. It was divine intervention and I’m so grateful he chose himself and continues to live out his purpose. Thank you to the team at Elevate!

This was my second tine in DFC outpatient treatment, the reason I chose DFC was their teaching, there, client, and the friendly environment. I have been to many treatment centers in my past when I knew in my heart I was serious about recovering from drugs and alcohol. There was no other place that I wanted to go other than Design For Change. They give group and individual counseling tailored for the individual which helped me tremendously. I have attended the Family Workshop many times. It is so amazing and has helped me so much. Dealing with addicted loved ones is so hard. You must have a support system to help you navigate all of the scary, stressful heartbreaking realities of this disease. The Design For Change staff have become like family to me. I know I can call on them when I need advice, someone to listen or just a shoulder to weep on. They understand and are always willing to help. I feel so very blessed to have found them. Calling treatment centers to explore options for a loved one was really overwhelming for me, but my family knew a must-have of any treatment program our loved one admitted into was a strong family education and support component. The Ridge made the information-gathering process so smooth and so reassuring. The staff answered every question we had, every question our loved one had, and they set us all up with support all the way around, right from the start. From drop-off and intake all the way through to discharge, The Ridge’s team was incredible. Their patience and guidance to / for my family throughout the entire process was truly invaluable. We feel a new level of confidence in our communication with and support of our loved one, as well as an entirely new understanding of the disease of addiction, that we know will set us up for success moving forward.
I don’t have words for the amount of gratitude my family and I have for The Ridge. To say I can’t give enough stars for Windmill Wellness Ranch would be a true understatement. This place saved my life brought me back my happiness and gave me the tools for a beautiful future. The staff at Windmill have real life experience and top-notch education to help the struggling no matter what you are struggling with. They really pay attention to you and your situation. They do an excellent job placing you, from your roommates,to your process group, your therapist and recovery coach. I was in Acqua October 2024 and the staff was amazing. They listened to what the clients had to say. The one thing Acqua offered that not a lot of the other places did is dual diagnosis. Ive been too quite a few places to work on my recovery but this was the first place i even went to that i feel was a safe place that i didnt feel anxious and restless, and most importantly focused, not on just an addiction problem, but in recovering my sense of self.
I greatly apreciate this little bubble of peace and quite, and i know anyone that truly wants to start a new life will as well.

When I first got to Life Skills, I was very disoriented and going through a lot of hardship. I feel better now that I have attended groups and activities. I am not an alum of Life Skills but I have 9 years clean and sober. I come to the Deerfield Life Skills location a number of times per month to share my experience, strength, and hope in their Thursday “Life after Lifeskills” meeting. It’s an evening meeting that’s been introduced through their Alumni Program where speakers like myself who are in long-term recovery come in and talk with the clients on things that happen in the real world after treatment and how to navigate the transition. I think it’s a great bonus to the programming as it offers a different perspective than the clinical groups and it allows for interaction between clients and alumni, something that was significant in my early recovery. The group rooms here and big and spacious and very comfortable for many people to join. There is a beautiful outdoor area where clients can socialize outside of groups, including a pingpong table, corn hole, pickleball and a nice-sized pool. I have had the pleasure of speaking with two of the techs, Marcia and Mark, on multiple occasions and they are nothing but kind and caring and it’s clear they really take pride in the work that they do! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of mental health and/or drug and alcohol treatment.
