My experience at Wolf Creek Recovery was truly life changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely supported by a compassionate, caring, and hands-on team that made me feel safe throughout the entire process. Having all psychiatric and clinical care fully in person made such a difference and created a much more personal and connected experience. The EMDR therapy was especially impactful for me and became such an important part of my healing journey. It helped me work through things on a much deeper level, and I’m so grateful for the therapists who guided me with so much compassion, patience, and professionalism. Another part of the program that meant a lot to me was the family therapy and integration component. Wolf Creek recognizes that recovery affects the whole family, not just the individual. The support and involvement they provided helped create more understanding, healing, and healthier communication for everyone involved. The facilities and amenities are beautiful, upscale, and incredibly comfortable while still feeling warm and welcoming. Wolf Creek Recovery truly combines luxury accommodations with meaningful, high-quality clinical care. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive, immersive, and truly healing recovery experience.

I have been to many rehabs but this one is the best by far.. Im surrounded by people who acutally care no matter how much I dont want the support. Steven Nolan is a great guy who has helped me in many ways and takes time iut of his day just to check on me....Harrison is the case manager and he knows excatly what to do and say. My therapist Allen my therapist makes me feel so comfortable and John who I finally met today was amazing. He took time to sit down with me and asked me If I was okay.. I wouldnt trade Wolf Creek for anything, highly recommended!

As a mom of two little ones with a full time job, I felt I’d never have the opportunity for rehab. I accepted I’d have to live the way I was living forever. Thankfully, my closest friends and family saw my alcoholism rapidly progressing and found Wolf Creek for me. When I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and compassion from all - staff and residents. I felt supported and loved. There were abundant resources from which I learned and grew day by day. The amenities were second to none. I was comfortable and able to focus solely on myself. I am forever grateful to the staff at Wolf Creek Recovery for giving me my life back.

This place saved my life. Stephen was the best case manager. Jill, who runs the show, was supportive and provided me with great advice and direction. What a wonderful experience here. I mean… if you have to go to a treatment centre— and this was my first and hopefully only time— Carleton/Decision Point is it. Loved my therapists, Jessica and Doug, and case manager Stephen. They really care about you and I am impressed at the progress I made in the 45 days I spent here. Also the nurses are kind and caring and really helped me a lot, especially Dena, Heather, and Katie. The housing and campus at Carleton are beautiful and spacious. The level of independence mixed with care and guidance is a good balance. Wish there were more outside activities, but otherwise I can genuinely say “5 stars.”

There I was having flashbacks from Afghanistan. When they made the questionable decision to let me be house leader, which basically meant I became the unofficial CEO of “Did You Do Your Chores and Why Not.” “HURRY UP LETS GO” The daily structure? Aggressive. The accountability? Relentless. The staff? Suspiciously good at knowing when you’re full of it. It’s like they’ve seen this before or something.Somewhere between getting called out, laughing at ourselves, and realizing we can’t outsmart basic honesty, things actually started working. Annoying, but effective. I came in thinking I was already squared away. I left realizing I was… slightly less of a disaster, but now with tools, habits, and a solid crew of people who watched me pretend I had it together until I actually did. Highly recommend if you enjoy personal growth. 10/10. Would reluctantly become a better human again.

The Northern AZ Healthcare Hospital in Prescott is top notch of any VA in the Country, and I’ve been to many as a Vietnam Vet. Every employee, nurse, or physician here have my utmost trust and respect. The care I have received here over many years has been no less than outstanding. Dr Singer my primary care physician is really competent and professional, prompts addressing my issues. Thank you Dr. Singer! Dr. Momjian my Foot and Ankle physician has provided me with exceptional outstanding care. I was very sad to hear he had transferred to a VA in Florida recently. Dr. Garrison my dentist there is the very best dentist I have gone to. He is super competent, very knowledgeable, and always puts his patient’s needs first. All of the staff including Sarah the hygienist are very helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. Nicki, in the lab, and as a dental assistant for Dr. Garrison, is very helpful, and a valuable asset to the Dental Clinic as well. Front receptionists (Malinda) and the other girl are always extremely helpful as well!! I hope I have not forgotten anyone, as everyone there have been very helpful, and considerate to me. I've been getting great care here for a few years now. However, recently it seems that the company that administers Polara has changed. This change came along with a mandate for hours of service per day that the therapists have to meet. No shows and cancellations are not accounted for. I have been at jobs where there are requirements such as this. It does NOTHING but cause stress and sometimes sessions that are pushed hard to end after the time allotted. At said jobs, people would literally hoard general tasks so they can meet their required hours per day/week/month. This mandate also leads to rapid turnover. I'm not sure the cancellation of that mandate will have immediate results, assuming it's still in place. It's not really my place to check up on these things. I'm just a patient.

Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona is a residential rehab for teen girls. Specifically, it’s for girls ages 12-17 who are struggling with drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and other behavioral health issues. The program uses something called the Sanctuary Model. It’s a model of treatment that is based on trauma
I was sent here at age 16 from another treatment facility. My experience wasn't too bad at all. They supplied me with the necessary items upon my arrival and a color coded uniform so others understood I was new. Different colors came with different treatment. I made some decent friends and unfortunately lost touch with them. Honestly, this place isn't for kids who just simply have bad attitudes, this place is for kids who don't know when to stop acting out and only get worse over time. I've met some girls here who had made scarier choices than me. From my experience the staff only confronted or restrained those who continued giving them attitude or tried to fight them or other girls. I personally wouldn't consider it torture, but things could have drastically changed since I've been there. They had a good amount of activities to keep every one busy and allowed the girls to make a small amount of money by working in the kitchen or other small duties. The group homes they have weren't bad at all either unless, again, you acted out massively. This place taught me that life is what you make of it and that actions will have consequences. Not just for you, but others around you as well.

I don’t remember it being like any of these reviews. I saw things I never would’ve seen if I had not been placed there. The town of Jerome, the copper mines, we saw the Grand Canyon at least 6 times when I was there. The staff Ms. Burgess taught me to crochet. When I started to learn anll the other girls were interested and did as well. All the other staff members were like hippies, not like anything I had experienced in Cincinnati Ohio at treatment centers. So, nice. I didn’t like the psychiatrist much but in all it was an adventure there. I now have two companies. Lydia’s Lawncare and Empowered Lady Llc here in Cincinnati Ohio. Things may have changed since I was there but I don’t have bad memories of this facility.

Polara Health Crisis Stabilization Unit is a mental health facility in Prescott Valley, Arizona. They provide short term crisis stabilization for adults in a mental health crisis. I am incredibly thankful for this facility as well as the wonderfully generous & kind front desk staff I encountered there - they truly deserve every star in my power to present them with! My husband and I are not from the area but were visiting nearby, when he realized he needed a fast solution to obtain his usual medication (which he had not been able to take in 2 weeks due to loss of insurance). We immediately felt very fortunate and relieved to find a conveniently located crisis management center that was open 24/7 and also had a program for receiving free emergency assistance in regards to his mental health care. The program did require that he admit himself to the facility for the night, leaving me with the only option of spending the night in our car, parked in the facility parking lot. And given the importance of his health and the necessity of the situation, I had no objection. He was able to get through the admission process fairly quickly and gave me a call afterwards to let me know all was well and the staff had already made him feel welcome and more at ease. Unfortunately, it was not long after that point that I went to start our car and discovered the battery was dead, and my cell phone quickly followed suit. (Because even in the dry desert of AZ, you can STILL count on it pouring whenever it rains! lol) Long story short; the staff not only let me use their restroom a couple times before my husband was discharged next day, they immediately offered to help jumpstart my car as soon as they heard the situation, and even gave me a lunch sack (which, btw, contained a delicious turkey sandwich & some other goodies) since I hadn't been able to leave or do anything else for about 16 hours while hubby was admitted. We are now safe and sound back at home, and we will both be able to rest easy tonight knowing that my husband has his mental health needs taken care of for at least another month. ❤️ Thank you to everyone at Polara Health for extending your care and your hearts to a couple people who really needed it!!

Gentle Path at The Meadows, located in Wickenburg, Arizona, is an alcohol and drug rehab, dual diagnosis, trauma, and sex addiction center. Their programs are comprehensive and evidence-based in nature. Tucked away in the peaceful desert landscape of Wickenburg, Arizona, Gentle Path at The Meadows is a place where men can step away from the noise o
Before I chose to travel to wickenburg, I truly thought that "I would always have my addiction controlling my entire life" Entering the door to the facility, I was angry, dismayed, and even sad. However during my stay at GP, I was not allowed to run away, avoid, or even isolate (which was my MO), and I am grateful that I was not allowed, but gently (as the G in GP) says guided to work on myself first tenatatively, increasing to full bore a week into my stay- and never let up completely. I am still "all in "for my own recovery almost 4 years later, and again I am truly grateful for that, and to GP and all the staff/participants who helped/continue to help me at this juncture in my life. Thank You, with Love. Kurt SchwoebelThis aids me in my recovery to see/ hear “others “ with their victories/ challenges / assistance in their own journeys = I am indeed “not alone”

My experience was what I needed however I left before the onion was completely peeled back. Fortunately, I was able to return back to MBH. I'm really bad at keeping in touch with people. The codependence, shyness, and other addictive behaviors have made me feel like I just don’t fit in. I am working on that by getting to meetings on a regular basis. I really miss EVERYONE I met while there. I sincerely hope you all are well.

Great for connecting with a community + being grateful and mindful. The app itself is mediocre and could use improvements.

The Meadows provides substance abuse and mental health treatment for adults 18 and older in Wickenburg, Arizona. They have residential services at this location but can refer you to another one of their program areas when you need a step down service. The unique program offers various therapy methods to provide more comprehensive treatment for each
Good morning! I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to share a five-star review for The Meadows, with special mention of Bill Reynolds and the Unbroken program for Veterans and First Responders. From the moment I engaged with The Meadows, it was clear that the Unbroken program was something truly special. This program allowed us to be seen in a safe space where we could discuss shared experiences that aren’t commonly encountered by civilians. It did a fantastic job of recognizing the uniqueness of our cohort, while still maintaining our place as active members of the broader community. Thursdays were always my favorite day at The Meadows, and I felt immense pride wearing my black Unbroken shirt as part of that community. Bill Reynolds deserves particular praise for his leadership and genuine commitment to the wellbeing of every participant in the Unbroken program. His guidance, empathy, and practical approach helped foster trust and connection within the group, making it possible for us to explore our experiences openly and constructively. The Meadows staff, in general, were exceptional. The environment felt safe, supportive, and inclusive, and I left feeling seen, valued, and part of something larger than myself. While I am now post-discharge and continuing my recovery journey, I carry forward with a renewed sense of purpose and belonging. Today marks exactly one week since I departed, and I am feeling absolutely great. Since my arrival home, I have actively attended both in-person and online 12-Step AA meetings. I have already secured a sponsor, am working closely with my local Behavioral Health team, and remain fully committed to my recovery, one day at a time. I’m grateful for the foundations laid at The Meadows and for the opportunity to stay connected with that incredible community. Thank you to The Meadows team for everything you do. Your dedication makes a lasting difference in the lives of veterans, first responders, and their families.

There are no words to express my gratitude to the incredible program the Meadows offered. Everything from EMDR, neurofeedback, counseling, group therapy, 12-step every night, obstacle course, gym, pool, pickleball, art therapy, equine therapy, lectures, acupuncture, yoga, sound healing, meditation, and incredibly nourishing meals surrounded by incredible people. And of course, the most difficult but transformative of all - Survivor's Week. And then Family Week. Your program is truly extraordinary and it helped me save my own life. All of it provided a safe container within which I could do the very deep and very painful trauma healing and recovery whose pain had been trapped below the surface for over 60 years. Thank you for creating such a safe, loving, supportive and kind community in which to do this very, very difficult and painful work. My life will never be the same. Thank you.

I was there in 2004, addicted to prescription meds from all the psychs I saw before going. All the while I had severe anxiety, bipolar depression and trauma from my mother's death, codepency. I had a mini strike while there due to reaction of meds given but I can say the counselors and staff and program, including inner child work helped me achieve where I am today. My higher power has always been God and during that time, it was clear that I was in a battle with the enemy for my life. I left at Christmas. I am a published author be cause of my experience. Hoping it's the same for others but if you go in with the negative attitudes here, you will not get well. You have to work the program and my life was worth the money I spent. In fact those that think it's a money pit probably still aren't well. ♥️ I continue to refer people to The Meadows. I should mention if I had listened to my counselor outside The Meadows, I'd probably be dead because he didn't recommend it. Do what is right for you. No one else knows how you feel but you and God.
