I was sent here at age 16 from another treatment facility. My experience wasn't too bad at all. They supplied me with the necessary items upon my arrival and a color coded uniform so others understood I was new. Different colors came with different treatment. I made some decent friends and unfortunately lost touch with them. Honestly, this place isn't for kids who just simply have bad attitudes, this place is for kids who don't know when to stop acting out and only get worse over time. I've met some girls here who had made scarier choices than me. From my experience the staff only confronted or restrained those who continued giving them attitude or tried to fight them or other girls. I personally wouldn't consider it torture, but things could have drastically changed since I've been there. They had a good amount of activities to keep every one busy and allowed the girls to make a small amount of money by working in the kitchen or other small duties. The group homes they have weren't bad at all either unless, again, you acted out massively. This place taught me that life is what you make of it and that actions will have consequences. Not just for you, but others around you as well.

I don’t remember it being like any of these reviews.
I saw things I never would’ve seen if I had not been placed there. The town of Jerome, the copper mines, we saw the Grand Canyon at least 6 times when I was there. The staff Ms. Burgess taught me to crochet. When I started to learn anll the other girls were interested and did as well. All the other staff members were like hippies, not like anything I had experienced in Cincinnati Ohio at treatment centers. So, nice. I didn’t like the psychiatrist much but in all it was an adventure there. I now have two companies. Lydia’s Lawncare and Empowered Lady Llc here in Cincinnati Ohio. Things may have changed since I was there but I don’t have bad memories of this facility.

My daughter is currently here. We are from out of state and sending her somewhere that I had not been able to see or meet the people there was more than scary for her and for me!! All I can say up to this point is that all our fears are gone. It is everything they claim it is online and more. She is being supported in every single way possible. From addressing her addiction, her mental health, physical health, everything. The facility reaches out to me weekly to give me updates on her as well. I have had alot of experience with rehabs and know that it's rare when you get ALL of these things or that what it claims it is online, isn't what it is when you get there. I just wanted to let anyone else that is in the position I was about sending your child there sight unseen, to know that you are making an excellent choice in choosing Wolf Creek, they are an amazing place!!

I can't continue to live this life, I lost the one person that loved me my best friend my husband. Me n him were supposed to sober up together n get our kids back but then he went missing ,but he was found but not the way I last saw him. That was the worst day of my life finding that he was no longer wit us, I can't keep living this drug life my kids lost there dad n I don't need them to lose me too. I need my kids more then they need me. But my question is OK when I complete everything n if I do choose to stay that way how long do u think it would take to get a place for me n my kids n do u guys help wit that too or how does that work. The staff really care and the people that are there was lile a brotherhood. Combination of Neuro Faith' Therapist, Christian based teachings. Listening and sharing each clients experiences and thoughts about we were being taught in group meetings. Also encouraged to go to AA meetings, Church and Bible Study. I haven't sobriety for 96 Days straight since i was 15. Daily prayer and meditation combined with the Hold Fast App daily reflection schedule allowed me to stay focused on my goals of God and sobriety. I knew no one in Prescott when I moved here, now I have a brotherhood and Fellowship of Men that 100% i can count on. I am currently on Step 11 and plan on Sponsoring others as well as continuing in volunteering for others needs and bringing others to sobriety. I have a beautiful new life now that. Hold Fast brought me back ty rean honest self. Thank you Staff. I am now closer with my family.

Exceptional regional VA hospital with an Emergency Department. Well organized with top notch, knowledgeable, welcoming staff. Very responsive. Beautiful, historic campus. Well maintained and with newly added technology, new (2024) CT machine for veterans needing better imaging since the passing of the PACT ACT. Outpatient services for veterans, specialists, laboratory, pharmacy, physical therapy, mental health services and much, much more.

Awesome, is the one word that describes our visit. With no holds bar the nurses and doctors here are the true definition of the Hippocratic Oath, and then some. When you willingly put the physical health of a loved one in the hands of someone that you've just met, trusting in them to do what you cant, it's probably the hardest thing in life. Here at the Prescott VA I've never felt so at ease, as they treat you as well as your veteran loved one like family.

This is a great place for an elderly man also as my Uncle was treated at Arrowhead Lodge for alcoholism. Not only did he get the help he needed but also the tools to manage and maintain his sobriety.

I am currently in GMBH in Prescott and it is so wonderful here. I am VERY happy I came here! I have been in and out of these rehabs and I have never thought I could get into a place like this. Highly recommend Granite Mountain Behavioral Health. However, you have got to want it! Doesn't matter how luxurious or good the therapists and BHT's are if you aren't done and ready to get your life back then there's no help that's going to help you change. You have to want it and be serious about your recovery. If you are then contact GMBH ASAP and good luck and God bless. You got this.

Dr. Phipps is amazing! I was having an issue with my upper left rib cage area. Good exam by the nursing staff, and the the “Doc” saw me, provided treatment, and within 12 hours, pain subsided enough for me to get sleep.

I just transferred to the northern AZ VA system and I have been floored with how great and attentive they've been. I have mental health issues and the primary Prescott location has been super quick to get me in and talking to someone. The psychiatrist I talked to listened to me and suggested some things for me to try.
I am now on a weekly therapy and different meds, when I asked them to check in after I start the meds they scheduled weekly appointments.
I had my labs done last week, super quick and really easy going tech.
Today I saw nurse Sara and she was lovely! Completely at ease and fun to chat with.
I then saw Dr Gallagher and she was delightful. She knew my records, she asked questions and she offered some other treatment options for me. She made sure I had the assistance and appointments all down correctly and said if I need anything to reach out.
I've been in the VA system for about a decade and this has been the best experience so far. Oakwood GA clinic was great but cottonwood has surpassed them. Thank you all for being there.

Well we had the unfortunate pleasure of visiting the Verde Valley Medical Center again today with my wife. She is struggling with her ability to stand without falling and she has other mental issues that are starting to develop. Last time we were at Verde Valley Medical they misdiagnosed my wife with drug abuse instead of a very clear mental confusion situation. My wife is 72 years old and has never taken drugs in her life. Many hospitals are uneducated about kratom.
This visit was very nice! Everybody had smiles on their faces and we're dressed very neatly. The main treating doctor was dressed very nicely and was very professional. Between everybody there, they made the visit a pleasant experience for a non pleasant experience if you know what I mean. Thank you Verde Valley Medical for treating us like patients instead of drug abusers. That will always go a long ways in my book.
BTW...we are starting to find that my wife has very serious neurological issues associated with the fall she had about a year and a half ago.

On July 26, 2025 I arrived at the Verde Valley Medical Center around 3 PM. Within 10 minutes I was ushered into their evaluation area where my vitals and an x-ray was taken. Immediately afterwards I was placed in a nicely appointed room where the nursing team made me very comfortable with warm towels and pain meds since I was shaking uncontrollably. This was the beginning of a top-notch emergency gallbladder removal experience. After a ultrasound & in less than 3 hours Dr. Nagaraj advised me the I needed surgery to remove my gall bladder which took place the next day. Next day the surgical nurse prepped me & assured me that Drs. Faulkner & Nagaraj would be the ones he would want to do his surgery. Afterwords the recovery room team as well as the team that handled my comfort that night were superb. Each shift’s caretakers worked together as a team whose main focus was my comfort and speedy recovery. One super efficient nurse from Virginia helped with the nausea and medications I needed to take. Another sweet nursing student worked tirelessly all night helping me to try & find a restful
position. And, a kind & caring nurse’s aide from Minnesota brought humor to my otherwise awkward hospital gown situation. All in all the medical team that cared for me was the best. We drove an extra 30 minutes from Munds Park to Cottonwood as we realized that I’d wait for hours in Flagstaff’s ER. Best decision ever!
