Reluctant to try Polara Health due to the reviews, I tried another facility first. With a poor experience at that facility, I again consulted my primary care office and they said other patients had a good experience with Polara, so I booked some appointments. So far, everyone I've encountered there has been great, but especially my therapist, who is the reason I came here to do a review. Eileen, who is an intern, has been nothing short of amazing! I've seen about 8 or 10 therapists in my life, and she is on a whole different level. She is compassionate, professional, incredibly focused, intuitive, appears to be genuinely non-judgmental, and knows what to say, and when to say it. She has even given me effective advice on things to try for my chronic pain, that many primary care physicians, and pain specialists have been unable to help with. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a therapist.

| Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona is a residential rehab for teen girls. Specifically, it’s for girls ages 12-17 who are struggling with drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and other behavioral health issues. Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona is a residential rehab for teen girls. S | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was sent here at age 16 from another treatment facility. My experience wasn't too bad at all. They supplied me with the necessary items upon my arrival and a color coded uniform so others understood I was new. Different colors came with different treatment. I made some decent friends and unfortunately lost touch with them. Honestly, this place isn't for kids who just simply have bad attitudes, this place is for kids who don't know when to stop acting out and only get worse over time. I've met some girls here who had made scarier choices than me. From my experience the staff only confronted or restrained those who continued giving them attitude or tried to fight them or other girls. I personally wouldn't consider it torture, but things could have drastically changed since I've been there. They had a good amount of activities to keep every one busy and allowed the girls to make a small amount of money by working in the kitchen or other small duties. The group homes they have weren't bad at all either unless, again, you acted out massively. This place taught me that life is what you make of it and that actions will have consequences. Not just for you, but others around you as well.

I don’t remember it being like any of these reviews.
I saw things I never would’ve seen if I had not been placed there. The town of Jerome, the copper mines, we saw the Grand Canyon at least 6 times when I was there. The staff Ms. Burgess taught me to crochet. When I started to learn anll the other girls were interested and did as well. All the other staff members were like hippies, not like anything I had experienced in Cincinnati Ohio at treatment centers. So, nice. I didn’t like the psychiatrist much but in all it was an adventure there. I now have two companies. Lydia’s Lawncare and Empowered Lady Llc here in Cincinnati Ohio. Things may have changed since I was there but I don’t have bad memories of this facility.

Jordan saved my life. I thought I had passed and was entering through the gates of Heaven, being greeted by none other than one of the Lord s angels. My fears banished, pain removed, scars healed, Jordan s loving care restored me to return to strength and keep brawling the grand brawl. Before Jordan took notice of me, helped me with his warm touch, I felt alone and hopeless each time I had cried out for assistance before. I went to Wolf Creek about 2 years ago. I struggled the whole time I was there but it wasn't really their fault. Some rehabs like to keep you occupied/busy so you can keep your mind off of your life outside of rehab. Shocking your routine is a must. Wolf Creek does do that for sure. They like to keep you on a tight schedule. For the most part rehab to me is just the same just about anywhere. You know what the answer is already but you're just not doing it (for me anyways). It takes work. That work may not always look the same to everybody else. I like the counselors I had. I like the house managers. Some of the things I would have liked to have seen done more was management within the home. Their idea was for us to keep each other accountable which can be quite stressful when you're trying to get better. The one thing about any rehab that I've never really quite understood is when there is people there that are obviously not trying to get better and they still keep them. That's going to effect every single person in treatment. Possibly cause others around them to relapse. (I get some cases are harder then other but damn)Maybe a little bit more than $75 a week from Fry's would have nice as well. It was quite the struggle for some of the people that didn't have any extra money. So us other patients/clients would pick up the slack.Remember this was 2 years ago. Rehab is what you make it. You can choose to take those obstacles that you see everyday while you're in treatment and be negative about it or you can see it as practice. Those times where you don't get the Monster Energy drink that you want that morning. Sit with it. Realize it's not the end of the world. You're there to get better, not get pampered. Put in the work and be nice to the people there. All rehabs are businesses but the people make the place and the people there are awesome love you guys. Some tips for going--Get an mp3 player that does not have wifi access ( music saved me )- get it before you go and upload music to it.- FMLA and stuff like that is much easier to do and start before you leave for Rehab. Trust me on this. Check with your HR department at your job to make sure you know how to file FMLA properly. Some companies will give you short-term disability but they require a lot of stupid little loopholes you have to go through. That will not be wolf Creek's fault just remember that.- if you have meds already. Try to get all doctors information beforehand it will make things much quicker for everybody else in the officeTrust me I know it's hard to think of any of this stuff when you're in the dark but you got this

I just transferred to the northern AZ VA system and I have been floored with how great and attentive they've been. I have mental health issues and the primary Prescott location has been super quick to get me in and talking to someone. The psychiatrist I talked to listened to me and suggested some things for me to try.I am now on a weekly therapy and different meds, when I asked them to check in after I start the meds they scheduled weekly appointments.I had my labs done last week, super quick and really easy going tech.Today I saw nurse Sara and she was lovely! Completely at ease and fun to chat with.I then saw Dr Gallagher and she was delightful. She knew my records, she asked questions and she offered some other treatment options for me. She made sure I had the assistance and appointments all down correctly and said if I need anything to reach out.I've been in the VA system for about a decade and this has been the best experience so far. Oakwood GA clinic was great but cottonwood has surpassed them. Thank you all for being there.

I especially remember Anthony, who is an excellent communicator. Also the nurse with the Russian accent, who exhibited exceptional medical and leadership skills. Dr Duane Lambert is listed as my attending physician. He is an excellent geriatric doctor, although way too overloaded. All my care providers should be listed on the VVMC discharge papers, so I could thank them individually. I am certain that they saved my life!

In the pre-dawn hours of Friday September 6th, 2024, I arrived at the Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, Arizona. The air was heavy with the scent of disinfectant and antiseptic, but my senses were overwhelmed by the excruciating pain that radiated from my abdomen. As I was rushed in by ambulance, my vision was blurred and my mind was dizzy - a result of both the pain and the fear that gripped me.Over the next few days, two figures stood out like beacons of comfort and compassion - RN nurses Mapel and Sam. Their gentle voices and soothing touches immediately put me at ease. As I lay there, feeling like something inside me was dying, their caring presence gave me strength and hope. It was as if they were not just treating my physical symptoms, but also tending to my shattered spirit. In fact, every member of the medical team worked tirelessly to ease my pain and bring me comfort. Their dedication and selflessness instilled in me a newfound sense of faith in humanity. They were my angels in scrubs, working tirelessly to heal not just my physical wounds, but also my emotional ones. For that, I will be forever grateful.

I received great service here, came in with elevated blood pressure and a bloody nose. Everything from checking in and being seen by a doctor was well done professionally. Would not hesitate to going back with any medical issues

We HIGHLY recommend StoneRidge.A little history first. Our daughter has been in many facilities in her life and let s just say they were less than subpar. Most of the time we, my husband and I, wouldn t hear from her for days, let alone know if she was ok. Over the years, we had MANY sleepless nights when she was in a facility. Now on to StoneRidge. Dr. Collin s and the entire staff are wonderful. Our daughter received excellent care and was treated with dignity. Not only did she receive excellent care, she said the food was really good, which is vital as well. Her first few days there she had a lot of anxiety but as time went on she calmed down. We had a constant flow of communication with her the entire time of her stay, serval times a day we talked to her, and we notice a huge difference in her demeanor, a positive difference. At StoneRidge, the Team cares about their patients and it shows. My husband and I greatly appreciate(d) the fact that our daughter was treated like a person and they listened to her, adjusted her medical treatment accordingly and she was not just a number in the system. With all this being said, we knew she was ok, safe, being treated properly, and fed edible food; we never had a sleepless night while she was at StoneRidge. This place is truly amazing!
