I was a little nervous about going to a psych hospital that was an hour and a half from where I lived, but I have nothing to say but good things about this facility. The shrink wasn't the best, but the nurses and support staff were amazing. I spent a little over 2 weeks there, and it really helped. Not my preferred psych facility, but they really helped. So, if yr having trouble dealing with mental health, and in need of help, this place won't do you wrong. And the food was very good. Once they realized I was a vegetarian, I got great food. This place helps you put things into perspective. After my stay, I know I won't need to go anywhere else. They made me understand that I'm ok. And that's a feeling I haven't had in a while.

I was very hesitant to go but knew that I needed help. Found out that they had a military program and it made it a little better being able to relate to others. Though the days are long and a lot of information is taught and passed, it was well worth my time. Everyone is very professional, polite, easy going, and knowledgeable. I would say I'd go back but in reality it's not something you should strive to do. That being said, it helped me tremendously so I don't need to go back, that's the whole point! Thank you to the staff and the guys I was there with. Stay strong!

Great staff, got to hand it to them. They have quite the patience with the folks that come into the detox unit. Its never easy. But they do a wonderful job. Get to get outside everyday. They saved my life and gave me a life I never thought would be possible. If you're questioning getting on the program then please give it a chance it's worth it. I went from homeless and jobless to having a beautiful home a beautiful career and a beautiful family and most importantly of all I'm actually happy. The only time I encountered issues with this program was when there was issues with myself that I had to work on. Once I figured that stuff out, the program became very useful resource for me, in fact the most important resource in my recovery has been ROOT and CCAR combined. So grateful this program exists!

I joined this program almost 5 months ago (6/15/23), and so far I am very pleased with the services that they provide. I have been on 2 other programs (New Era in Bridgeport and CT Counciling Center in Danbury) prior to my joining the Root Center, and in my experience, the Root Center is a far better program. The nurses, the councilors, and the rest of the staff are extremely professional while maintaining a warm and friendly atmosphere for their patients. Unfortunately, I did have a couple of false positive urinalysises. However, when they saw how upset I was over the error, they believed me, and approved my take home bottles anyway. That would have NEVER HAPPENED at the other programs I have been on. If you are struggling with addiction and are considering joining the Root Center, do it. Today could be the day that you begin to turn it all around. Make the call. God bless!! It has been a couple of months since my last review. In that time I had my bottles recalled for another false positive. There's been a lot of talk at the program about this issue. Apparently this isn't a "me" problem. It's a "we" problem. Because a high (no pun intended) number of clients are complaining about false positives, and to me, that's a problem. I can't speak for everyone else, but in my case, I know that I haven't used since 6/23. It's now 1/24. I shouldn't have any drugs left in my system. The Root Center really needs to address and fix this issue. Not only is it unfair to be treated punitively when you are innocent of wrongdoing, it is also dangerous to the addict. It's the sort of thing that can topple someone's recovery.

I had a CTscan yesterday. Everyone I had contact with was very professional and cordial,from security on. I especially wish to thank your technician for her help in getting me to the cafeteria and on my way home. I hope that she sees this. Thank you ❤️

I had ambulatory / outpatient surgery on my knee here last week, and dare I say, it was actually a pleasant experience! Every employee I encountered was professional and polite, from security, to check-in, to nurses and doctors. Staff was very caring and thorough, which is refreshing these days. Because of my ride situation, I arrived about an hour early, but they accommodated me with no problem. The surgery went smoothly, and the recovery room nurse was excellent. Discharge also went smoothly, and it was easy for my ride to park close to the building, so an attendant could wheel me out to the car. I'd rate them a 10 out of 10.

I came here at 3:30 PM on a Saturday and I was out by 5:30 PM. The staff were friendly, professional, and caring.

If you meet Shawn Christine Kathleen Eileen jess or a Dominican sister Who works late shifts and more staff that I unfortunately don’t remember the name, i promise you, youre in good hands the people I named are amazing and are a blessing if you put in the work they will give you their all highly recommended you come here I pray for your healing and for the wonderful staff in this facility, amen.

My family has used the ER twice in the last few weeks and have nothing but good things to say. Of course, expect to wait if your condition isn't immediately life-threatening, but that's given at any hospital. Staff, treatment, and facilities are all very good. My 81-year-old mother's indoor cat bit her & her hand swelled up so she went to Atmed urgent care in Johnston RI where the dr told her she probably has rabies & could die & needed to go to the hospital for rabies treatment. She went to Fatima & they couldn't believe the dr told her that. All she needed was a tetanus shot!! EVERYBODY from the receptionist, the nurses, & Dr Lawrence was wonderful 👍 this is the kind of place you want to go to when you need medical help! 5 stars for the receptionist, nurses, & Dr. Lawrence!
