I had an amazing experience at Newport ct . I was at double hill the residential for two months . Through out my time I made a lot of progress. I have to thank the cc s that were there while I was! I felt like I was impacted the most with the conversations I have with care coordinators, and also fellow clients . I learned many coupling skills and experienced full support for the first time in my life . While my stay at Newport was great there were ups and downs. Healing comes in waves. Or as they say at Newport healing is not linear!

We had to send my daughter to Newport after it was recommended by an acute place that she needed residential and longer treatment than acute care. I didn t have the best impression when I first contacted them. I was mislead and thought I could pay a certain amount to send her closest to us in the Charlotte location but turned out that was not accurate and had to send her to the Connecticut location. Then reading the Google reviews scared us. That s why I wanted to share my experience. My daughter was in the dragonfly group. Everyone was truly amazing. Alexa was always in constant communication with us. She was our family therapist and dealt with all our concerns. She was always there for us when we needed her. Her teacher Tea was in constant communication with my daughter s school and us. My daughter clicked with her personal therapist Amy which helped my daughter a lot. Lisa her roomSupervisor was great with dealing with issues. She got sick a few times and was well taken care of. This place never made my daughter feelinstitutionalized. She enjoyed her MMA and equine therapy. They took them offsite for allDifferent activities including church. When it snowed they went outside and went sledding and snowball fights. All the assistants and aids were so friendly and caring. My daughter truly loved being at Newport and because of them my daughter is on a good healing path. I felt so comfortable with her being so far away. I would highly recommend this place to someone with a child that needed help.

I have to say this clinic is the best clinic I've been on and I've been on a few for the last 15 years . everyone is treated with respect a Westfield HCRC, they go above and beyond for you . Kristin is the lead supervisor there and she always makes sure she returns my calls and every problem I've ever had she always takes care of it . This place (The staff, their modalities, the location) Saved my life. The only reason I have contact w my family is because they focused on the holistic approach. Seeing the low reviews breaks my heart. I hesitate in breaking my anonymity and protected healthcare information from when I was a teenager. A lot of people who had good results maybe don t wanna put their name out there for a good review because they ve gone on to bigger and better things because of Wellspring. I was a resident in 1992 to 1994. Wellspring helped me tremendously. Especially the Adventure Program where we would go on hikes. I found a love of nature and friendships for a lifetime. The current director, Dan Murray was my therapist and he was so gentle and caring. He cared a great deal about all of his patients. Many of us are still friends and remember him so fondly.I also went on to Angelus House at 18 and finished my senior year of high school at the local public high school. The transition helped me gain confidence and lifelong friendships from there as well.Thank you for the lessons. Many sunk in much later in life, but you helped plant the seeds.

This is absolutely the best of the best medical offices I have ever been to for medical assistance. Every person who works there is friendly, helpful, and polite. I have been a Connecticut resident most of my life, but I have lived in Pennsylvania for a few years, Texas too, and have used their VA medical centers as well. I was very happy to have learned of this establishment. Many insurances are accepted like Medicaid and Medicare, although certain counselors accept certain insurances. The scheduling coordinators are very friendly and work with you to receive the help you need. My mom has been seeing Dr Foreman for at least 10 years and she drives 30 minutes for him even though she's nervous driving. She's always said how nice all of the receptionists are. I left a message yesterday to get an initial appointment but haven't heard back. I'll be calling again tomorrow because I absolutely hate where I am currently. And my mom's the most critical person ever and for her to like this place for over 10 years and STILL have great things to say says A LOT!

I think the Carlson center was awesome. They medicate you so you are really comfortable. Their food is incredible and you can get seconds too which is helpful when you are starving and coming off alcohol. Every time I relapsed I went there because I knew they would give me another chance. You should go to groups but yes you can sleep if you re tired. I remember the first time I went there. I was in serious alcohol withdrawal. I had the best sleep after being medicated. Their staff is great too. They saved my life. They wake you up for vitals early but you may need medication. They have punch in the tv room which I drank like no tomorrow. Snacks too. I ve been there like 7 times and they always treat me great. I wish I could say my name but can t. You will always get a second chance there

Hi my name is Kevin . I have been receiving treatment at Wheeler clinic for ten plus years. To be honest I have had a few bad experiences at Wheeler clinic but mostly all good . When I was at my lowest mentally I turned to Wheeler for help. I must admit that it was hard in the beginning. I was very reluctant in accepting help, but the staff at Wheeler was very patient with me. As time went on I began to open up. I started realizing that they are here to help me and not make me do anything I didn't want to do. As years passed I became a better person to people around me and most of all to my self . No more self harm or thoughts of worthlessness. Thanks to Wheeler clinic I am still here for my kids and family . Thanks to the Wheeler clinic staff.
