Westport House is well managed and well run. It has all the amenities you could ask for, with resources to get every aspect of your life back on track. The management and staff cares about you, and that's important when trying to better yourself. They really give you an upper hand. I hope I don't need to, but I would recommend anyone to stay here to get their life back on track, and I would again in a heartbeat.

After years of trying everything we could think of, my wife and I finally found Westport House. Our son was admitted quickly and efficiently, and, from that point on, our experience was incredible. After a couple of months we saw a noticeable change in our son. The staff was very timely in their correspondence with us and always treated us appropriately. During his time there, our son became actively involved in Alcoholics Anonymous, obtained employment, and began treating us and others with a level of respect we did not know he was capable of. He stayed there for 7 months, and I can say, it was very much worth every penny. Our son is still sober today and continues to attend the AA meetings that he went to during his time at Westport House. We cannot thank Westport House enough for giving us our son back. After 7 painful years, the change that he was able to make in his life is incredible, and it is all thanks to the great staff and services at Westport House.

After being in and out of many different rehabs, it was at Westport House that I learned how to live a brand new life. The staff was kind, loving, and compassionate. They showed me the way up and out of the horrible rut I was in. They also helped my family understand addiction, and what they needed to do to help me, and themselves. The atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable, and the incredibly supportive! Being able to see their therapists and clinical team was also essential in aiding my recovery. I'm so grateful for the life Westport House gave me.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for the start of my recovery journey. Turnbridge Westport has excellent, knowledgeable, and kind staff who really care about their patients. Their IOP and OP programs have been extremely helpful for me, and the one-on-one therapy sessions have also helped me tremendously. Furthermore, they have an awesome psychiatric nurse practitioner on staff who has really gotten to know me as a patient and didn’t just push pills on me. I would give them infinity stars if I could!!

They played a huge part in saving me and helping me start my life over again and I couldn't have done it without the help of their more than helpful and caring staff and the best therapist, Nicole!!!!!! Took me two times to go through their program and I finally got it right, thank you Turnbridge Westport and thank you so much Nicole for helping me find myself again 🙂

Our family has had a relationship with Causeway Collaborative for a number of years. They are able to guide young men including those who are neurodivergent and their families through the issues that many young men face today. They were able to identify our son's challenges and connect with him immediately. Additionally, they have included our entire family in the process and it has benefited each of us. We would highly recommend Causeway Collaborative for those young men and their families who are struggling.

I stayed here on two separate occasions, once for 9 days, and once a year later for 14. On the second occasion, when I was in the ER for panic attacks, I specifically requested St. Vincent's. This place doesn't deserve all these negative reviews. If you go there focused on yourself and bettering your mindset, you will find improvement. Just don't be rude to the staff and follow the schedules. The nurses really do care. Be honest with the psychiatrists, and your whole care team, and they will do what's best to make you feel back to being yourself. I was in a seemingly endless spiral of anxiety/OCD, which turned into acute psychosis. I have been getting better and better for the months since i've been out of there and I couldn't have graduated high school or found the new job that i'm starting soon without them. I owe my life to the wonderful people at St. Vincent's.

The emergency department here took very good care of my wife and considered her needs and comfort during her stay. On a side note, whoever is in charge of culinary services has a better grasp on salinity than most restaurant chefs. Nice work on the shepherds pie and ratatouille over quinoa. I would have rather eaten both of those things again over some recent meals I’ve had out.

This was my one and hopefully only experience, but I am incredibly grateful that I chose Retreat (New Haven). My therapist was PHENOMENAL! If you are willing to do the work, commit to yourself that YOU are worth the time & energy needed that it takes to truly recover, and remain sober then I highly recommend you give Retreat a try. This experience can be scary and hard to navigate without knowing what to expect in an environment full of strangers discussing your private life. But I have to say I’ve been attending classes for about 5 months now. And since my initial evaluation with Milissa Flores, one of the lead counselors, she immediately made me feel comfortable and accepted. Walked me through every step of what to expect in classes and from the program as a whole. She makes each person feel welcome and especially as a female in some classes full of men, opens her door to make you feel safe to come to her with any concerns or issues. She leads her groups with an honest open approach, where you can talk about anything - judgment free, while learning the skills needed to move forward coping with triggers and stress without the means of alcohol as a solution. She really gives every person the opportunity to speak at their pace and not push them to feel forced. I can’t say the same for every counselor there, or other programs. I’m truly thankful for the ease she has made me and others feel, and her help in my continued path of sobriety. She really goes above and beyond always with a smile and positive energy!

This review is long overdue. Today marks five years of sobriety, and when I reflect on my journey, KPC shines as a crucial part of my success. The support, education, and care I received there were instrumental in helping me understand the root causes of my substance abuse and providing me with the tools to address them. Outstanding Surgical Experience at Yale Bridgeport Hospital I would like to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care I received at Yale Bridgeport Hospital. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Dr. Collen Murphy, who performed my laparoscopy, was truly outstanding. Her professionalism, skill, and compassion made me feel confident and at ease throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I understood the procedure and felt completely comfortable every step of the way. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to her assistant, Sharlene, whose warmth and kindness made me feel like family. She went above and beyond—not only offering emotional support, but also making sure all of my paperwork, including prior authorizations and insurance approvals, was completed and processed smoothly. Her thoroughness ensured there were no surprises, and her attention to detail made a stressful time so much easier. Sharlene’s, friendly demeanor and attentiveness truly stood out and added a personal touch that I will never forget. The entire surgical team was incredibly supportive, kind, and dedicated. Every staff member I encountered treated me with care and respect, and their commitment to patient well-being was evident in every interaction. I felt safe, valued, and genuinely cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend Yale Bridgeport Hospital, Dr. Collen Murphy, and her entire team to anyone in need of surgical care. I am beyond grateful for the exceptional treatment I received and will always remember this experience with appreciation and trust.

The place has changed drastically (for the better) since APT took it over. Parole and Probation would not allow people to come here otherwise. Lots of Food, amenities, an outside smoking area, gym, cell phones allowed, Good staff etc etc. There's now full fencing with locked gates around the facility. It's amazing what there funding has done to the place now that new management is NOT stealing it. Which was the case yrs ago when it was called "Crossroads". If your new to the logistics of getting in here then ask ask ask questions. They don't freely tell you much of anything without asking. Possibly due to the high number of return clients. I was already on the right track before entering this problem but so glad I went in with an open mind. Ariel has helped me in my progression as a man realizing I'm a human being who needs to be valued. I see the bigger picture now because she makes things so easy to understand. She never makes you feel judged she has all my trust. That needed to be said because I'm going tomorrow at 4 I look forward to it because I'm always better when I leave. I owe it to her in helping me get over that last hurdle to get my life back. It feels good to be present
