I was a client here a few years ago, and attending Turnbridge was literally the best decision I have ever made. It saved my life.
The staff at Turnbridge truly care. They go above an beyond to make sure that the clients are comfortable and most importantly safe. They work here because they care. The clinical and psychiatric staff challenged me like no other providers had in the past. I was in and out of therapy for many years, but never genuinely engaged with a clinician until I came to Turnbridge. They helped me rebuild my relationship with my family. I learned how to be a good son, a good friend and I learned how to be a productive member of society. I built lifelong friendships during my time at Turnbridge. Yes, the program can be pricey (as is literally any reputable long term treatment program). But it was the best investment my parents ever made.

North Haven, Connecticut | APT Foundation is a program for adults located in New Haven, Connecticut. They offer a variety of services such as primary care, mental health, and substance use. Something that stands out to me is that they offer same-day care regardless of the ability to pay and then you are provided with voluntary treatment options. Their main forms of substance | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I've been in apt for 11 years, when I came I was addicted all opiate and alcohol. I haven't touched any opiates other than the methadone. I'm 11 years I haven't had a drink in seven. when I got here I was on a high dose, after about a year I weaned myself down to 39 mg. Once I got down I realized how much of my chronic pain the meds were masking so I made the decision to stay on the 39 mg. Instead of either having to go on disability or be put back on painkillers again. The apt foundation bought me the time to save myself. At the beginning I was on a really high dose and that kind of gave me the room to pretend I was still kind of high and gave me time for my brain to situate itself again. it takes about ayear for your brain chemicals to sort and for you to start feeling normal emotions again so it got me through that time. the counselors and financial people are very kind and willing to work with you and the North Haven clinic is very clean. I would recommend this place.
I've been at apt for 7 years. It has been uphill battle for me. I went up to120 mg and am tapering now. I'm at 50mg and have a plan. It's probably been the only plan that I have worked on. Life has it's own plan.
I'm still going to the APT Fondation, I been going for almost 4 months now, They have helped me a lot.. It was hard at first but when they got my dose up to the right level I haven't used any drugs except what my Dr ordered at the pharmacey.. I feel great and I can't wait to get takehome bottles so I won't have to go every day...The people that work there are very friendly Kind & Caring.. I recomended the program to a few of my friends so they can get help, But you can show someone the way it's up to them to do it.. The thing with drugs is You can't make someone change The person has to want it to change...

I was a little nervous about going to a psych hospital that was an hour and a half from where I lived, but I have nothing to say but good things about this facility. The shrink wasn't the best, but the nurses and support staff were amazing. I spent a little over 2 weeks there, and it really helped. Not my preferred psych facility, but they really helped. So, if yr having trouble dealing with mental health, and in need of help, this place won't do you wrong. And the food was very good. Once they realized I was a vegetarian, I got great food. This place helps you put things into perspective. After my stay, I know I won't need to go anywhere else. They made me understand that I'm ok. And that's a feeling I haven't had in a while.

I’ve had a very good experience with InterCommunity Health. The staff is welcoming, respectful, and genuinely cares about patient well-being. From the front desk to the doctors and counselors, everyone takes the time to listen and provide support without judgment.

IOL has been there for me when I was at rock bottom. My first time there in December 2023 was ok, the staff was kind except for one tech from the adult unit... When I went back last December, I ended up staying for Christmas, and the staff did their best to make us happy with gifts, games, etc. I stayed for almost a month and started becoming myself again with help from my favourite tech and my favorite nurses. This was the first place that actually treated me like a human being while being in a psych facility. Rushford Glastonbury truly has something special going with their evening IOP program. Everyone I have had the pleasure of working with has gone the extra mile to help me in my journey. From the director, to the clinicians, to the provider, to the administrators.
The evening clinicians are extremely insightful and kind. I have worked with many clinicians over the years and have never made progress like I have with the ones at Rushford Glastonbury.
The provider has worked with me closely to get me back on track with my medications.
I cannot recommend them enough.

Wonderful programs full of caring, patient, and respectful clinicians. Their IOP program was top notch. Rushford also has an in-house medication provider that was very accessible and responsive to patient needs. Highly recommend Rushford for anyone looking for a new way of life 🙏❤️
