Turnbridge an incredibly positive experience for our entire family from the first phone call through the last phase. Their long term, holistic approach to recovery has been working well for us. Love the way the staff is super helpful and really seems to care about the patients getting better! My councelor is awesome and the doctor is the best! We haven't had such a great staff in years past... But now it's absolutely wonderful! The people still hang out in the parking lot - but it's a good, healthy environment inside!

Whether you are a 1st time treatment/detox seeker or have relapsed and are searching for a new facility, this is your place. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond for the patients. This was my one and hopefully only experience, but I am incredibly grateful that I chose Retreat (New Haven). My therapist was PHENOMENAL! If you are willing to do the work, commit to yourself that YOU are worth the time & energy needed that it takes to truly recover, and remain sober then I highly recommend you give Retreat a try. It is a welcoming community and hopefully you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was about the services available, especially if you are a first responder or an active duty/veteran service member.

Waited over an hour in line for a Covid test on 12/23/21. Though the wait was long, the entire staff was amazing. This van from Wheeler Clinic is great. They are equipped with even a heart monitor. We need more of these. I made an appointment at a doctors office that the earliest is 6 months away. There have been urgent care facilities opening up everywhere in the state. It's like the medical field is getting ready for a major health problem. The nurses can read a major amount of my health records and even re-ordered my vitamins that I didn't even know I had a script for. Just saying thanks.

Helping book appointments, housing, food, shelter, help finding outside doctors like specialists that your primary can give you referrals to, coordinate rides and more. Spring harbor hospital is awful and should be shut down. They abused my son, staff punched my 12 year old son in the head that was caught on camera, and found during an investigation. They repeatedly gave him dairy which he cannot have, also gave him above legal limits of meds, all findings through an investigation. Then negligently discharged him with no plan in place and dropped him in a parking lot with no medicine givin, or able to get. my son had to be admitted to an ed. Nearby Keep your kids away!!!!!!!!

My counselor was respectful, responsible & made me feel comfortable whenever I was talking with him. Receptionists at the front desk are always so nice, the whole place, in general, seems more caring willing to talk instead of simply pushing pills into your system.

Went there today to talk to my doctor about my medical appointment outcome and scripts and was informed that I have to make an appointment to be able to do this.I informed the receptionist that I call and no one answered the phone. The calls are sent to west haven.This is not a consistent problem.we as veterans need to make sure we act professionally when dealing with them to set by example..I was called back by someone and everything was straightened out and dealt with in a professional manner.did not give it five stars do to the behavior of the front desk receptionist..

This place is a joke. They treat you like a child. In the 6 months I’ve been here I had my “weekly” individual therapy less than ten times. Their clinical groups are far from beneficial. They say they provide childcare during groups so that you can actually participate but 85% of the time they don’t. They’re a mom and baby program but they’re not breastfeeding friendly. They literally want to to use a cover when breastfeeding during groups “in case a man comes in”. They take 75% of your food stamps for house food shopping but give you very little say in what is bought and on top of that staff eats from our food. They did provide the means to be reunited with my daughter but kicked me out 3 days before my anticipated discharge date all because I was struggling with not smoking and was caught with several e cigarettes. They gave me 24 hours to figure out where me and my 3 year old would go. There’s plenty of other GOOD programs in CT. Don’t waste your time here.
