7.64 / 10 | MedMark Treatment Centers Morgantown is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Morgantown, West Virginia, specializing in evidence based care for opioid use disorder. Located at 53 Don Knotts Blvd, the program offers medication assisted treatment (MAT) combined with counseling and supportive services to help adults achieve long term recovery. Wi | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have been going here for 3 years and never had a problem until Madison, the counselor, showed up. I would give Madison 0 stars because she doesn't follow HIPPA. She has a big mouth and she has been running her mouth about me all over town, even things that were said in my private sessions with her. I give Medmark 5 starts, but Madison gets zero stars. She'll be the reason I leave Medmark. She's trifling and always trying to not schedule me so that I'll have to have longer sessions with her. I don't want to talk to Madison at all and sit in her office pretending to be happy about it. I brought up the rumors she started and she laughed.

This clinic actually treats their patients like they are human beings. Unlike acadias clinics which they own all of the clinics in wv but this one. I haven’t even talked an Acadia clinic in the town I live in but I drive an hour to this clinic just so I don’t have to go to the Clarksburg treatment center.

Lauren DeWitt and her teammates at Ascension Recovery Services have gone above and beyond to now help two of my friends. The first for loss of spouse and the other for alcoholism.
They take it very personally as if they were finding treatment for their own family member. Lauren set up a family intervention and even personally flew with my friend to the treatment center.
This world is a better place because Ascension Recovery Services and I hold them to the highest regard.
God bless you Lauren and your team!

Morgantown, WV | Adults, adolescents, and children can recieve treatment for addiction and mental health issues at WVU Medicine Chestnut Ridge Center, located in Morgantown, West Virginia. Their programs include general outpatient (OP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and inpatient programs as well as residential treatment services. Their addictions or dual disorder | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I feel sad seeing these other reviews speak negatively of this place. Especially since I've had such a good experience. I think this is 100% due to my psychiatrist. He seems to be the only doctor who actually reads and responds to messages as soon as he's able. So much so that I've had to label some messages as not important or I'll say "this can wait until your not busy" and he will still respond quickly. I'm not saying all the doctors need to multi-task like mine does. What I'm saying is when I see my doctor he really shows how much he cares about his profession and his patients. He puts a ton of effort into ensuring his patients get the care they need. The other doctors are like doctors you see in the hospital. It takes forever to get any response from them and when you finally get to see them, your in and out so quick that you can hardly remember what, if anything, you discussed.

Morgantown is the 96th most expensive city nationwide for addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $58676. This is comparable to the average cost of $57881 for addiction treatment in West Virginia and comparable to the national average cost for drug rehab of $57,193.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Morgantown vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of medical detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and medication assisted treatment. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below. There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Morgantown. Most rehab treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Morgantown that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here's the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment near Morgantown.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Morgantown, with 5 treatment centers in the city accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 5 treatment centers accepting it followed by UnitedHealth Group in 3rd accepted by 5 drug rehabs.
Morgantown has the 364th highest rate of drug use nationwide among nearly 400 cities surveyed. This number reflects the combined use of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana, displayed individually below. The percent shown for each drug represents the number of residents in Monongalia county that have reported ever using the following drugs, so these numbers should not be interpreted as direct evidence of current drug use in Morgantown or Monongalia county as a whole.
In 2023, Morgantown had the 290th highest number narcotics violations out of 330 cities nationwide, with a total of 87 reported drug-related incidents that year. This includes cases of public intoxication, drug arrests, narcotics found during house calls and traffic stops, and any other drug-related crime.
Keep in mind these numbers are dependent on accurate record keeping and reporting laws by local police and sheriffs, and may not fully reflect all drug related crime in Morgantown. All values are per 100,000 population.
