NIRC has helped me in countless ways and I owe a lot to them for helping me get where I am today. The staff is amazing, they will do anything in their power to support you in recovery and go out of their way to help in anyway they can; they truly want to see you succeed and helped me be sober for 4 years. Groups are helpful in that you are able to be vulnerable and get so much information to help get you through any situation - the therapists are there to help walk you through at any stage of your recovery. Clients are more than supportive and understand what we are all going through; they want to help not only themselves but everyone around them. NIRC is like a little family and with all the help we get, we can all make it through the challenging times.

All of the staff are super friendly and their goal is to help you be successful. The PA listens to you carefully and he will suggest and prescribe medication to aid you to reach your goals. The counselor will work with you to set up a plan for your recovery and listens intently to you to help you reach the goals you have set. She has helped me in numerous ways to overcome anxiety issues that were blocking my path. I believe the whole staff have truly saved my life.

I went to bridge house after going to an inpatient. Going to Bridge house for the first time was an life changing amazing experience especially being there for the holidays up until about 2 weeks ago when i graduated the program. They offer groups I never thought I would get into yoga and meditation. I now enjoy doing both because of bridge house. They have awesome food that I used to always cook they actually care about what you're interested in making they buy all the ingredients for you to cook for the house on your scheduled day .They have very good groups and peer support groups. I enjoyed playing the drums and the keyboard that they have to offer as well. So shout out to bridge house thank you for all your support loving and caring attitude towards me always. I had just gave birth to a Beautiful baby girl!!! In the time of our homelessness, the shelter we were staying at refered me to them!! I called them and made appointment. When the time came I went to the appointment and they were so sweet, understanding, and very resourceful!!!. I was amazed, and happy!!! First off, it's a blessing itself to have a facility FREE OF CHARGE!!! They help step by step, to get your life in order and back together again!!!♥️ Nicasa has truly been a blessing to us, and always will be!!! We are still with them still this day!!! Ms. Cindy is 1 of the few and rare woman I have ever met. This woman was a Huge BLESSING!!!! THE THINGS SHE DID FOR ME WAS RARE!!! She not only encouraged me to continue my education, but also helped me get my driver’s license and supported me through the process of having my background expunged. Because of her kindness, professionalism, and dedication, I have been able to put my life back together in ways I never thought possible. I also want to recognize her supervisor, Ms. Sindey, whose support and understanding made a huge difference. Both of them carry a genuine heart for the community and give their time, energy, and compassion to help families across Lake County. It's all in the name "Recovery home". . Rosecrance recovery home is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. Not to mention the intelligence of some of the staff is amazing. Life skills are very important. Rosecrance recovery home put you on a healthy path for everyday living. Woodstock recovery home is run by caring attentive staff. The homes are beautiful and kept nice and clean. Anyone looking to establish a network of good people in the sober community should consider this program. The place was very clean, took care of me put me under and talked about fun stuff with me when I went under fixed my arm and did a very good job except when I went to IBJI highland park didn’t put padding down on my cuts and the gauze got stuck and had to use rubbing achohal to get off and it really burned. Nurses were very nice, place was clean, only in there for a couple hours and I was very happy. Gave me food and water and got I’ve in first try. Didn’t take long took me out on a wheelchair with very very very nice hot blankets and stayed there while my ride came

This was a VERY good experience for me being a first time surgery patient at the age of 43. I was scared out of my mind. Didn't know what to expect. My nurse Grace was just about as pleasant as nurse as you could possibly want. If you're lucky enough to have her at your bedside, you're stay will be way more pleasant. I don't know if I would have made it through this without having such a great nurse. Grace, thank you so much for everything. I was there a few times. The LAST AND FINAL time was about 12 years ago. I was meant to be there. I actually met my husband there. Lol. These people care... they do care, if you care. Counselors can only do so much to help someone who is NOT ready for help. This was state funded. I don't understand all the bad reviews. It's better than Cook County Jail, Lake county Jail and McHenry County Jail. People lived in gutters slept on sidewalks, did anything necessary to fullfull our addictions and then go to a state funded place and complain that it is an awful place. I'll take ATP over active addiction any day. People don't realize how stressful counselors jobs are. They are dealing with some of the worst, entitled people America has to offer. A place can only do so much. They can only help you as much as you want it. If you have found yourself in ATP and are ungrateful for whatever they have to offer, you are not ready. They treated me better than I treated myself. Before he was my husband he was my bf and I got pregnant and we had a baby. When our baby was about 2, I relapsed and he ended relapsing also. He overdosed and almost died. We have never used since. He was meant to be in my life and has changed my life in soooo many ways. That's only because we were both ready to stay clean. The last thing you do is meet a man in a treatment center but God put us together there and now we have an 11 year old that has her Mom ans Dad alive and not just surviving, but thriving. It was one of those Love at first sight things for me. God told me he was meant to be in my life. Married, seperated or just co-parents, he saved my life. My memory is really bad however I still remember seeing him for then first time and I immediately loved him. So, I learned alot from ATP. It's not a full on rehab. It's more of a first step to sobriety. THANK YOU ATP FOR TAKING CARE OF ME BETTER THAN I CARED FOR MYSELF. YOU TOOK ME IN WHEN I NEEDED IT THE MOST. ILL NEVER FORGET WHERE MY SOBRIETY BECAME A POSSIBILITY AND THEN REALITY. NEVER THOUGHT ID GET CLEAN. EVER. IF I CAN DO IT, ANYONE CAN! THANK YOU AGAIN ATP FOR SHOWING ME RESPECT WHILE I WAS GIVING IT ALSO. The last in the reviews that said she got hit, I guarantee, you got him to that point. I've seen alot of disrespect and patients who think they are owed the world in a STATE FUNDED 2 week stay. (If I remember correctly it was 2 weeks.) YOU get back what you put out into the world. Suncloud: Prioritizing Profits Over Patients' Well-being My 4-week experience at Suncloud was marred by several disturbing issues: Medication Errors: Nurses repeatedly attempted to administer the wrong medications, and on occasion, there were significant delays in obtaining essential meds, leaving patients without proper treatment. Neglected Hygiene/Bioharzards: The shower facilities were left in a deplorable state, with a nicotine patch remaining affixed to the wall throughout my stay. My attempts to address this with staff were dismissed. Privacy Violations: Certain treatment coordinators irresponsibly shared explicit details of past patients' traumas, including sensitive information about sexual experiences. Missed Activities: Due to inadequate staffing, many scheduled activities were routinely canceled, despite Suncloud's monthly charge of $50,000. Safety Concerns Ignored: Both staff and fellow patients frequently expressed feelings of insecurity. Shockingly, these concerns were met with indifference and dismissal from upper management. Ongoing Gaslighting: Throughout my stay at Suncloud, I often felt as though my experiences and emotions were invalidated. When I inquired about other PHP programs upon my discharge, I received a discouraging and unsupportive response. Fortunately, I have since found a remarkable PHP program where I am finally receiving the help and support I need.

I came from out of state to attend this program. Their reputation is that they are one of the highest quality providers of integrative out patient treatment in the country. They did not disappoint me or my family. Cared for with compassion and forgiveness, highly individualized, groups of no more than 10, plenty of time with my therapist, my doctor there and the nutritionist, treated medically, psychologically and spiritually by a well trained, well educated and highly experienced care team, I got all that I could ask for and more. This is a place to consider for both behaviors and trauma. The fact that they are in network with my insurance company was a bonus. I don't think I will need treatment again. If I do, however, I would go back in a heartbeat.

SunCloud did help me in a lot of ways, but they are so organizationally bankrupt that i cannot recommend that anyone else go here. i won’t go over every single little thing - i was moved up to their residential program a month into my treatment (which is something i still disagree with, but i understand why the decision was made), so my treatment at this location was split into two parts. when i first came here, i thought that i was in the wrong program. there was nothing but addiction and 12 step programming the days i came in, and i was initially interested in SunCloud because of OCD, and the prospect of maybe getting TMS. i later learned that, no, i wasn’t in the wrong program, and they just have that much addiction programming for everyone. their philosophy is that putting everyone with many different issues together helps build community between everyone - which i do understand, but… i did come wanting a lot more 1 on 1 therapy, which was only provided once a week (where i got actual work done). about a month of being here, i was suddenly told one day that “SunCloud recommends” i move up to residential because of concerns around my weight (i didn’t and never have had an eating disorder). i initially declined and thought that i could work on it in PHP (as it would also be a lot better for my depression and OCD), but then learned the next day that SunCloud’s “recommendation” actually means that they will force you to do it or else not treat you anymore, which… would’ve been nice to know earlier. a lot of terrible things happened in residential which is a whole different thing, but when coming back to this location, i had requested a different therapist here. this never happened. i had also requested psychological testing here the first time around, and two months later, i was told that it would be next week. next week rolls around, and i’m told it’s happening next week. next week rolls around, and i’m told that actually, sorry, SunCloud can’t test me for DID here. this was a bit of a shock to me, considering that i wanted to do testing for ADHD and autism? eventually this miscommunication got cleared up - i couldn’t do testing here because i have DID and they can’t factor for that - but there have just been so many examples of mismanagement in this organization that it’s impossible to name them all. i also have a lot of issues with my personal therapist, hence why i mentioned wanting to switch earlier. i won’t get into why, as i do think he works well with others and his style doesn’t match with me, but this situation should’ve been handled before i felt like i couldn’t even talk to him anymore about anything. now, my OCD did improve quite a bit while at SunCloud. but, i think this is moreso due to medication changes (the psychiatrist here is quite good) and pushing myself personally, rather than any therapeutic work that they did. the community connection can vary, but i did feel like i could relate to people here - especially with them having a dedicated LGBTQ+ group which was helpful for me as a lesbian :p but.. the organization itself? i simply cannot recommend SunCloud to anyone. please seek treatment elsewhere, and i hope whoever is reading this finds success on their treatment journey c:
