NIRC has helped me in countless ways and I owe a lot to them for helping me get where I am today. The staff is amazing, they will do anything in their power to support you in recovery and go out of their way to help in anyway they can; they truly want to see you succeed and helped me be sober for 4 years. Groups are helpful in that you are able to be vulnerable and get so much information to help get you through any situation - the therapists are there to help walk you through at any stage of your recovery. Clients are more than supportive and understand what we are all going through; they want to help not only themselves but everyone around them. NIRC is like a little family and with all the help we get, we can all make it through the challenging times.

I am not sure i can properly put into words how important my time at footprints was. I do believe they helped me save my life. The entire staff is full of love, care and kindness. They were professional and diligent in my treatment. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone facing struggles with mental health and addiction. I read a few negative reviews before deciding to check myself. I am so grateful i ignored them and checked into footprints.

This place saved my loved ones life. Seriously. He was Deep in addiction when he got here and I was fearful because of the reviews and because his addiction was just so bad I didn’t know if anything was going to help. Before footprints, I was planning to bury my loved one. He is now healthy, clean and sober and has a career. I can never thanks footprints to recovery enough. All the staff was very kind to me when I went to visit and drop stuff off for him. The only reason we’re missing a star is because my loved one had some issues with a staff member named Quan(?) who was being weird to patients. Other than that, amazing experience for my loved one. Thank you guys for saving his life and brightening up mine.

I am consistently blown away by the care that SunCloud provides for individuals specifically with co-occurring disorders. They have a new adolescent residential program in Matteson, IL where care is literally non-existent. Colleen Kestel is their VP of Operations and is very selective on who she works with. I’ve trusted Colleen as a dietitian for many years, as well as Dr. Kim Dennis. I highly recommend SunCloud, especially for those with co-occurring disorders, who need a higher level of care!

Extremely helpful couple working the mid-counter were able Guide me to the secondary eye clinic, Brenda was super friendly getting me checked into the acute Eye clinic. Additionally while I waited the workers at the coffee lounge we're exceedingly helpful and very cheerful. There was a new female who was very cheerful and was thanking the veterans for there service. In ( the main eye clinc) Dr.Dessler was very thorough ask and educating me on the 4 treatments. Both eye clinics were very transparent. And that is something to be stated. I highly recommend the eye clinics here. 11Nov2025 Downgraded to 1 star Review After " Alexis " (Women Clinic) left a voicemail attempting to get me into an appointment. Alexis left me on hold for 10 minutes. Then lied about an open December appointment. Utilizing words like we only have one doctor that can see people "like you". She then stated that they only have openings for late February. I have never asked for services as a female or Transgender. I'm a guy, period. There is no reason for gender stereotyping because I choose to dress or look a certain way. As such the TSP CPT Dr.Jefferies chose to act with violence during one of our sessions. This is very vindictive behavior. Other than the outstanding lab department & Dr.Riz I do not recommend this location for now. ---------------------- 3Jul2025 (5 Five Review) A great man walked these halls. DR.B will be remembered and mark a standard of care that is yet to be seen at this location. No ceremony for a person who did the right thing always. What a joke how you treat a Doctor who served Veterans for 10 + years. Go to the back where the staff & doctors are sleeping sprawled out on all benches ( like hobos) specifically built gazebos for veterans. You should be ashamed of yourselves for taking a space designed for veterans especially ones that are homeless. ----------------------------- Old Review LGBTQ + Communities are out of this world. Had oral surgery at Hines yesterday. While it still hurts some my experience was positive. Dr. Shahbazian is just fantastic. The procedure was painless and went a lot faster then I thought it would. The people working in the Dental clinic really care and treated me wonderfully. Unfortunately, after the procedure I had gauze in my mouth so I couldn't thank them as much as I wanted to.

This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

After a terrible night at advocate Lutheran ER I came here and I was a little nervous but the man working reception was really nice. Then dr cohen was also nice, caring and helpful. I stayed in Crisis Residential for a month (I got an extended week) and I learned so much and had SUCH a great time, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're in need of a timeout. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard. Once again, thank you Ecker, for helping me learn to manage my anxiety and various other symptoms. You've done a great job for a lot of people! 10/5 stars!

I went to bridge house after going to an inpatient. Going to Bridge house for the first time was an life changing amazing experience especially being there for the holidays up until about 2 weeks ago when i graduated the program. They offer groups I never thought I would get into yoga and meditation. I now enjoy doing both because of bridge house. They have awesome food that I used to always cook they actually care about what you're interested in making they buy all the ingredients for you to cook for the house on your scheduled day .They have very good groups and peer support groups. I enjoyed playing the drums and the keyboard that they have to offer as well. So shout out to bridge house thank you for all your support loving and caring attitude towards me always. I've been here twice... Certainly the best 28 day program in the area. Two amazing counselors who educate residence on addiction and push and motivate them to be better. I am grateful to this place however ashamed that I relapsed again after two stays here. They certainly did there best... And do not take into account the bad reviews. If you've been to several programs and treatment centers around Chicago then you know HAS is one of the better ones. HAS, Keep up the good work and thank Hose for giving me so many chances, you guys help those who want it. I hope I can visit on better terms someday!

I had an incredible experience delivering my baby at St. Joe’s this time last year. This was my first baby so I was obviously extremely nervous and didn’t know what to expect. The L&D nursing staff I worked with were all some of the most amazing, smart, and kind humans I’ve ever come across. Notably Reilly and Ren, I don’t think I could have had my baby without their support and compassion during the most vulnerable time of my life. My wishes were always recognized, I was allowed to labor in different positions when appropriate (needed assistance moving once I had the epidural) and when I was feeling numb only on one side they were also quick to work on fixing that. Very clean and spacious delivery room. Great nurses in postpartum area too. All in all a great experience and I would give birth here again if I had to do it over!

WOW…. The team at Compass Mental Health in Northbrook is incredible! Dr. Alex Timchak has soooo many extraordinary qualities that make him a leader in the field of psychiatry. He communicates with clarity, respect, compassion and optimism. Also, he is open-minded and willing to offer a logical explanation about the treatment plan he recommends. Most importantly he has a " wealth of knowledge " due to his extensive professional expertise. Also, James Drake ( therapist ) is a " breath of fresh air". James delivers a supportive, comfortable and healing environment at every session. His active listening makes me feel “ truly heard “. James is able to foster a trusting bond through his compassion and deep understanding of the individual needs that are needed to promote healthy mental growth. What an amazing team they make !
