I was struggling with my alcohol use and going into treatment with NIRC changed my life! The staff, techs, facilitators and therapists are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable with many of them having real life experience giving them a place of empathy and advocacy to serve from. In-patient housing, outpatient PHP and IOP options allowed me a platform to move through early recovery at my own pace. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. Individual therapy helped me to work through to the root issues underlying my addiction through self-directed mentoring, alternative methods and connections with medical and psychiatry professionals on-site. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. I was connected with so many community resources to continue my recovery journey and at nearly 4 months sober, I am a version of myself I haven't been connected with in years! I am a better wife and mother, but I also have found my purpose and become a student, a friend, a coach and a productive, self-confident and SOBER part of my community. I owe it to NIRC and I hope to, one day, give back to the organization that has given me a life I am proud of and excited to live every day! Thank you!!

I had a good experience and learn a lot from this program. The staff worked really hard to get me a place to go. I am now in sober living. I enjoyed my time at this treatment center. Everybody did a great job and excellent job..it’s the best I’ve ever been . I came here on a grant .Now the journey continues

I am not sure i can properly put into words how important my time at footprints was. I do believe they helped me save my life. The entire staff is full of love, care and kindness. They were professional and diligent in my treatment. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone facing struggles with mental health and addiction. I read a few negative reviews before deciding to check myself. I am so grateful i ignored them and checked into footprints.

This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

Great experience and staff. The only thing I had a problem with was using the phone. We were allowed to use our cell phones 2 times per week for half an hour each time. Other than that it was a great facility and beautiful area. You won't be disappointed.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They saved my lyfe for sure and are currently saving my girlfriends lyfe. I can not say enough good things about this place and trust me if it was wack I'd put them on blast. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. If your struggling with anything this is the best possible place for you. They truly save lives.

I can’t say enough about Micawla and Cliff! We came over from the professional building after hearing some disheartening news. We needed further lab tests, one for a C-T scan. We were told we would have to make an appointment and return at another time. Just so happens that Cliff, who actually does the test, walked in while we were waiting to set up the test. He over heard our situation and immediately said he would fit us in his schedule. With help from Micwala, we were able to do the test the same day. Their overwhelming kindness and compassion were second to none. I would highly recommend Holy Family for their available services and will definitely schedule any further testing with them. This is the way we should treat each other!! Thank you both for your time and support.

I stayed in Crisis Residential for a month (I got an extended week) and I learned so much and had SUCH a great time, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you're in need of a timeout. Lots and lots of groups, very well structured, the rules are really easy to understand and follow, and the staff genuinely cares about how you're feeling during your stay as well. You get to see your psychiatrist once a week to make sure your medication is helping, and the psychiatrists they have on staff are wonderful, as well as your therapist and if you're in the substance abuse program, they're kind too, from what I've heard. Once again, thank you Ecker, for helping me learn to manage my anxiety and various other symptoms. You've done a great job for a lot of people! 10/5 stars!

They said we needed to be admitted due to our complications. They were taking care of us until we were transferred to inpatient unit.

I was on a long weekend birthday vacation with my adult daughter when unfortunately my life-long auto-immune disease decided to flare. I had to go by ambulance from our hotel room to the ER. We were told our best chance of being seen quickly was a drop off at St. Joe’s. Turns out, that was the only bit of fortune I had that weekend. I have been to many ERs and have endured hundreds of in-patient stays over the course of 50 years. St Joe’s in Chicago, Illinois, is the only hospital I’ve ever felt moved enough to leave a review. In general, I only take the time to leave feedback when what I’m reviewing is extremely positive or extremely negative. From the doctors and nurses in the ER to my 3-night stay on the eleventh floor it was a good experience. Everyone was very professional and compassionate. I guess I could say that St. Joe’s was my birthday gift. Every bit along the way I felt seen and heard. I was in pain and extremely dehydrated, but I felt very safe and truly cared about in every department I had to deal with. I was treated with respect and kindness. My room was kept clean, linen changed when needed and when I pressed the button for a nurse, I didn’t wait more than 5 to 10 minutes. If you know you know how quick that is. I never felt I was burdening anybody with my needs. My discharge went smoothly and quickly, which is also rare. As I’m writing this, I’m aware it sounds like I’m leaving a good review for a hotel, but it’s really important that I let others know where I received such empathetic and professional care.

I can’t say enough about Micawla and Cliff! We came over from the professional building after hearing some disheartening news. We needed further lab tests, one for a C-T scan. We were told we would have to make an appointment and return at another time. Just so happens that Cliff, who actually does the test, walked in while we were waiting to set up the test. He over heard our situation and immediately said he would fit us in his schedule. With help from Micwala, we were able to do the test the same day. Their overwhelming kindness and compassion were second to none. I would highly recommend Holy Family for their available services and will definitely schedule any further testing with them. If your child struggles with anything mental health-wise, Compass is a godsend. It’s like school where the teachers are all expert doctors and therapists who genuinely care about your child and your family. We’ve gone back almost every year for a refresher of all the skills they teach our son. Literally nowhere better and we’re so grateful they gave us our son back. I cannot say enough amazing things about this office. I have seen 3 doctors and now currently see Emily Jensen NP. All have been wonderful and actually care about getting to the root cause. The reason for my review is actually for someone from their administrative team. I had an issue this week and Barbara went way above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. I have never had a negative experience with this office! Thank you to the entire team!

Bridge House my life for the better and when I really started to change I could see everything in my life finally made sense and that is because of Tish, Colleen, Mike, Luis, Mrs c.,Joe, Delores and Steve. They showed me the way life could be if I worked for it. I am grateful for the staff. Everything I learned will always be apart of me and my sober journey. I went to bridge house after going to an inpatient. Going to Bridge house for the first time was an life changing amazing experience especially being there for the holidays up until about 2 weeks ago when i graduated the program. They offer groups I never thought I would get into yoga and meditation. I now enjoy doing both because of bridge house. They have awesome food that I used to always cook they actually care about what you're interested in making they buy all the ingredients for you to cook for the house on your scheduled day .They have very good groups and peer support groups. I enjoyed playing the drums and the keyboard that they have to offer as well. So shout out to bridge house thank you for all your support loving and caring attitude towards me always. Thank you Dr Guerra Thank you Ms Leticia and Ms Colleen for all of your support, one on ones and the advice you have all way given me. I am now in a sober living independent home thriving and doing well while maintaining my sobriety.
