(FULL REVIEW BELOW) The breakdown: Pro's: -Renovated resort on a spacious piece of land that includes a lake patients can fish on, walking trails, a full basketball court, and large open fields for activities -Nearly all direct support staff is in recovery -Food is home-cooked style and every meal includes seconds if wanted -Nicotine products allowed (vapes too) -Guitar, piano, animal therapy (they literally have an Australian Shephard and like 10 chickens to interact with), plant and flower garden patients can contribute to, pickle ball, corn hole. -Large donation room for patients coming with no clothes -Medicaid insurance allowed -Alumni program that includes an app that helps connect all the patients post-discharge Cons (Based on opinion/personal exerience): -My biggest complaint is no PHP/sober living housing being available. From the moment I walked in they were kind, helpful, caring, & gave me so much encouragement throughout my time there. If at any time I needed something or had a question they would help get me what I need or find someone who could. The community of clients really made the experience wonderful as well. I learned so many different skills from the staff and a lot about myself. They really took the time to get to know each individual person and also shared their stories with us. I would never have been able to get through my recovery if it wasn’t for BOCA and continue moving forward in my recovery without their continued support even after leaving the facility. No state pay system riders at boca, all professional tradesmen, firefighters, athletes, etc.... as far as patients. Staff if is AMAZING. So professional in every aspect. They handle every aspect from medical to mental health in addiction treatment. Legal issues are handled for you so you can concentrate on you. Day to day life is comfortable and you feel like a vip. The techs, nurses, therapists and case managers REALLY care! I have to give a special shout out to the techs that really took time to pour into each client individually. The food is great and if you come there with just the clothes on your back they will make sure you have everything you need and more. NA/AA meetings are brought into the facility multiple times a week and you are given the option to go to an outside meeting every week day after lunch. The nurse's peer Coaches and texts i'm like some amazing people there Troy Smith 2 years ago So let me start off by saying I was court ordered to come here & was not happy at first, they have that saying if you don’t want to truly get clean it’ll never happen, well I'm here to prove that’s not true. I didn’t want to be at rehab, but I just took it day by day. The staff is incredibly welcoming & loving and that makes all the difference when trying to get clean. After a few days of detoxing I got Medication-assisted treatment, and started feeling better each day. This is a small rehab so you really get to know the other clients and leave with long term friends and get to know the staff as well - like your therapist for example, so you actually feel comfortable opening up and not just sharing because you have to. I also loved the AA/Na speakers they have come in - I was really able to connect with each speakers stories and they give you hope that if they can stay clean for that long through everything so can we! I also loved the fact they took us to outside AA meetings everyday so we get a chance to just get out and interact with new people. The CRT staff goes above and beyond to help any individual who wants to change their life for the better. The staff is always available and always ready to lend a helping hand anytime out of your 24 hour days. There's never a question that cannot be answered, and if there is the staff again will go above and beyond to get you the correct answer. The 90-day program provides structure and discipline to an individual's life who wants to make a positive change and continue to live a full sober life displaying the best version of yourself. At the end of the 90 day program Ms. Gatz and her staff will provide each individual further recovery by helping the individual who wants to say sober and continue to live with further housing. I moved to Bloomington in January 2024, I had never stepped foot in Bloomington, Indiana and I knew absolutely nobody. The staff at CRT helped me get all the correct documentations that I will need to get a job, driver's license, birth certificates, any other documents that I needed to further my life and Recovery. After the 90-day program and I moved on to a different sober living being Courage to Change the staff of CRT was still more than willing to help me with any other things that I needed or had questions for. Also after I graduated CRT I used to think the staff on the consistent basis for saving my life. They assured me that I saved my own life and they were just grateful to be able to give me the tools the structure and the discipline to change my life so that I can save my life. Me myself I can go on and on about CRT about all the wonderful things that they have to offer but I know 100% that there is not enough time in one day to speak on all the great experiences that I had at CRT. I would recommend to anyone out there who wants to make a change in their life and is willing to make the effort to meet CRT at least halfway to contact them you won't be disappointed believe me when I tell you. While crying out for help and being ignored had become the norm at other facilities, the crisis intervention team and staff at LifeSpring in Jasper began rallying around our family. They built a wall of safety around my loved one who needed care, a showed him (and us!) that we are not alone. They faced many “no’s” when trying to help us find additional critical care, but that did not deter them, even after hours, and they were able to find additional resources to help our family. I truly believe that thanks to their caring, determination and tenacity in ignoring the roadblocks and finding other avenues to take that they saved a family member’s life. They also followed up, after hours even, to make sure that the family member’s life had the support and care they needed. I will always be grateful for this group being put in our pathway.
