good experice just wish they let me stay longer and didnt depend on the parent more so me the patient because they let me go just because my parents lied and said they would do family therapy which they had no interest in at all. next time I hope you guys focus on what the patient needs not what their parents say because i know for a fact they lied to my doctors just to release me. now I'm still struggling and my parents are not helping at all i am 17 years old now I was 15 when I went and I wish you kept me longer. It sucks that every night i went i had to call my parents an every time i did it made me have a mental breakdown because how toxic they were when i went. Who says to their child that everything gonna change when I get home? That's a fucked up thing to say to someone who struggles because of her home life. I'm glad the third night I stopped calling my parents and it helped me feel less stressed I wish i was their longer i was not ready to leave

First Step at Lakeview is an amazing place to go. The staff is absolutely amazing, you have Ashley Brett and Jan who go above and beyond what they need to to make us feel comfortable and at home. My experience was personable because of them and I really can't thank them enough.

My husband got hurt in a trauma accident at work and was life flighted to Research Medical Center. From the ER to Rehab, we had nothing but amazing workers! Everyone came in with a smiling face and some awesome dance moves! Huge thank you to some of the nurses he had, Stavia, Jenny, Daniel for making our day and nights as enjoyable as possible. Huge thank you to Jay the physical Therapist for being such a motivator for Cole. Huge Thank you to Danielle for always keeping his room clean and having some awesome dance moves every single day!Huge thank you to all of the surgeons and pre op ladies who made sure my boy was well taken care of. Huge thank you to all of the wonderful kitchen staff for always preparing meals for everyone. Huge thank you to the labatoray workers and the techs for being so kind and helpful. A huge thank you to everyone in rehab. Everyone was so helpful and had a main goal of getting my husband home. We loved seeing everyone’s smiling faces and always making sure we had everything we needed! 10 out of 10 recommend this facility. Thank you guys so much! God bless.

I was in the cardio unit at the hospital. Dr Darden and the team were great. Ashley in the rehab area was amazing. I had bleeding issues and she worked hard to correct it. I had to spend the night because of the bleeding and Nurse Mary, on the floor, did a great job. The only issue with the hospital was my daughter went to the cafeteria and ate a Caesar chicken salad. She got so sick and had to go home. My granddaughter came and took her place.

GOOD FOOD, I WAS IN PAIN NIGHT BEFORE CHECK OUT, I BUZZED NIGHT NURSE TOLD HER I WAS IN PAIN ,AND ALSO NEEDED ANOTHER BLANKET, SHE ANSWERED OK, BUT OVER 2 HOURS LATER, I HAD TO BUZZ HER AGAIN WHEN SHE NEVER CAME, WHEN I BUZZED HER SHE CAME TO THE ROOM AND ASKED ME CAN I HELP YOU,...... I AGAIN TOLD HER I WAS IN PAIN AND WAS COLD, SHE GAVE ME 2 TYLENOL TABLETS, LATER THE PAIN WAS SO BAD I VOMITED STILL NO BLANKET

Mccallum place Kansas city was amazing. Although we all had rough days the staff new how to help and calm patients down. I transferred from residential where I didnt have a good experience and we werent sure how PHP would go for me, but they gave me more insight and opportunity on recovery. They truly cared for patients and continued showing us the road to recovery. Im forever greatful for getting to go to Mccallum KC for my recovery process, im forever indebted to the people there.

McCallum offered excellent care to a family member of mine. The staff created a safe, comfortable environment for my loved one to heal. They offer equine, movement groups, yoga, art groups, and meal challenges in addition to weekly therapy and dietician meetings. This program saved my loved one’s life. If you or your family is considering treatment, I encourage you to take the next step and go! My family was so nervous, but we can not recommend this program enough.

This program helped my family. The staff there was so knowledgeable and communicated weekly about my daughters time in treatment.

Best place in KCMO if you know someone looking for housing/counseling for drug addiction and/or mental health problems. They also help out veterans. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I tried to go to the pantry on Tuesday 01/21. It was extremely busy and they kept piling people into the lobby. There was no organization. I was squeezed on all sides by strangers. The people working kept yelling at us to move, and we literally couldn't. After 30 minutes of watching them let people who came after me, get to skip ahead of me. I tried to leave. As I was making my way through the mob, the man working the door literally shoved me out. If I didn't keep my cool, things could have went a much different direction. They need to have a plan. Why have rows of seats, if you don't use them? Have some sort of plan in place if it's busy.
