At first I was like, no way is this for me. But Grayson totally got where I was coming from. The groups were super age-specific and chill. I learned how to set boundaries and say no without feeling weird. They helped me prep to go back to school too. Food was decent and the space felt safe. UPDATE***. You see the original comment, they stood over my shoulder as I typed it. Landmark recovery on fern valley rd is a JOKE!!! The comments you see about the CEO not giving a crap about what goes on in her facility is true!! Let’s just say there was a survey that went around and baby I filled it from front to back, corners and all! I had so much to say that I got to sit down with the CEO & Co-CEO to get a fill for the new things & better opportunities that were getting ready to be put into place. As I read the comments I see that was a lie. Also the whole paper thing was suppose to be anonymous but they matched my hand writing to the daily check ins we did. YOU WILL BE TAKING COLD SHOWERS WITH SEWER FLIES!!! The water supply is a 5-gallon igloo bucket thing with the spout at the bottom which is very important bc when it’s time to be refilled, guess what, it’s rolled into the bathroom & filled with sink water. For the amount of money spent here, things could go be sooooo much better & still be the bare minimum experience. They’ll answer the phone to get you in the door, sell you a bunch of lies about the “the state of art facility” and it’ll sound good. & look good to upon first entry and where the family meetings and public eyes can see. But once you cross that wooden door, it’s a all a lie. Welcome to hell! I would never recommend anyone to go here. I will say, the names mentioned were definitely great people, I would reconnect with again. But that place, is one of the reason I have remained sober. I refuse to go back, please go with a different facility if you can. This place will definitely be investigated one day!! Best wishes to you all.
First time going to rehab and landmark was a great experience. The staff are welcoming and the patients here are very welcoming as well. Made me feel love and supported as soon as I stepped onto the wing. They definitely feed you so be prepared to gain a few pounds. Also huge shoutout to Gary A, Jackie F, & the PES Britney, Randy, and Matthew they are all amazing. There are plethora of different backgrounds here so if you find yourself here please take the opportunity to get to know them and use the knowledge that they give you. Overall a great experience and I recommend.

Everyone was amazing. To bad insurance doesn't allow you to have contact with them after treatment they helped me when I was unable to see the good in my self. They All lifted my spirits and gave me something I thought I had lost along time ago back. I'm alive truly alive to day and ready to look towards clearing away the wreckage of my past setting and goals for my self to be able to become a productive member of society.

Hospital is amazing! They took great care of me and brought me back to being healthy. They made my wishes come true! I recommend this hospital to those who are struggling in life!
Update: there were volunteers that were hired that were abusive towards me, I would get aggressive back. I think that there should be measures to protect future patients as well as when I stay there next time. I just want to bring this up so that future visits can be as good as the previous ones.

Someone can actually quit what they are addicted to and rest and be ok while they are not using...... I was nervous at first but realized how many wonderful clients there was. everyone was so kind even though our circumstances were what they were. We all became close as we were being cared for and introduced to recovery and safety from drugs and alcohol and the outside conditions we were experiencing. The staff was so attentive and helpful and were always on time with our treatment and medical needs. Each specialist and therapist and nurse became a comfort and a friend of mine . I recommend this facility as the best short term residential treatment program.

The Bridge to Recovery opened my eyes to what needs to be put in place to live a happy, meaningful and positive life. The group interaction, is one that I’ve never experienced before in therapy, I felt “a part of” instead of “a part from”. Upon arriving, I never have felt so welcomed and a peace of knowing this is exactly where I need to be and where I want to be. Had a great time getting sober here and I miss the staff. This is a good place to get sober with great staff that really care about their patients and many of them are addicts themselves in active recovery. Made a lot of great friends there. Fun times!

Shawnee Baptist Church certainly holds a place in my heart. This church is great. All the people that attend from my experience are great people. Pastor Steve is an amazing Pastor. He certainly has a calling on his life to share the gospel and help others come to Jesus. He and his wife were nice enough to show up to mine and my wife's house in Louisville and talk with us. He baptized me and even though I'm in Texas, he still reaches out to this day. They also help many people with a food pantry I believe is every Friday morning. I believe that you will find so many people who love Jesus at this church and you can find Jesus there and accept his as Lord and Savior at Shawnee. This church certainly has had a great influence on my life and can change yours. God bless.

The Pastor always preaches from the Bible, The fruit of the Spirit "Love" is evident here, everyone is friendly and inviting, Sunday School for all ages, Nursery for younger ones by loving members, youth and teen program, support of missionaries, busses to pick you up to attend services, food box giveaway, addiction program, it's not a perfect Church but the involvement and work being done speaks for itself. They love the Community. Join them for a service Sunday morning or evening
