This place saved my life. Plain and simple. I just left in late October 2025.
And just like any AA / NA meeting, rehab requires action and work. RCA might not be a Malibu Passages (which rehab isn’t suppose to be some fantasy, sleep and get massages all day land) but they helped me crack the code in how not to give up, bc I wanted to and I was tired.
But the experience I had, leaning into it and embracing it? Yeah, I got so much from this place. Family. Friends. Knowing I’m not alone. It’s huge.
So thank you RCA.
And a massive shoutout to Pastor Ken. I could not have asked for a better therapist who just knew how to help me, I can’t explain it. Bridget, my Case Manager has a bigger heart than I thought was possible to have; Brittany, Marcus and Tammy (3 of the staff whom I was really counting on being there, and they were! I owe them so much)
And Ms. Sherry T….Ms. Sherry is a damn godsend to the patients. One of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met and will ever know. ❤️❤️

The IAFF Center of Excellence Saved my life . The Staff, BHT's, Therapist, Doctors, Cooks, and even the cleaning crew are also nice. Everyone and I mean everyone is there to help you. My husband suffered PTSD for many years. It was left undiagnosed and mistreated for a long period of time. It took a lot of trials and tribulations for him and the loved ones involved, especially with me being I was the closest one to him and was susceptible to his symptoms. I also started picking up his symptoms, like I was suffering from it as well. Kinda like second-hand smoking. tHe went to a couple of recovery center which did not help him at all. But when he went to the IAFF COE, it was like a switch was turned on. It took a while for the treatment to really take effect or to see any results. But he made it through. I can't begin to express the gratefulness the family has. I wish I would have found a way for him to get there sooner and start his treatment. I was following the center since the beginning. But things happen a reason. When the day came that he was ready to feel alive again, you all helped him find his life again. I am now also finally starting my healing process.

My experience there was nothing short of life-changing. The staff and clinicians gave me the tools I needed to come back home and face my problems head-on. I learned how to communicate better in my relationships and handle challenges in a healthy way. The environment was supportive, understanding, and full of people who genuinely care about your well-being.

This place is full of love, compassion and dedication to helping patients become their best selves. The Jude House has creative outlets for the patients like open mics where they can sing, play drums, guitar and share their songs and poetry. There is always a lot of laughter and support. They are investing even more into The Jude House now offering trauma informed yoga, music and art.

As a mom who's been through this more than once with my son, I was truly moved by the care here. The staff were respectful and really knew what they were doing. My son finally opened up in therapy, which hasn’t happened before. Meals could be better, but the focus on aftercare and involving the family made a big difference. I felt supported, not just him.

Pride Detox honestly saved my life. As a non-binary artist, I really felt safe. The gender-inclusive space and LGBTQ+ affirming care made healing real for me. I just started going here a couple months ago. Dr. Edmonds has been thorough and very helpful to me. Dr. Jordan was very helpful as well. The administrative staff, nurses, and techs have all been polite, professional and helpful. With phone calls, on site appointments, referrals, etc. I think these folks at the Southern PG county clinic are doing a great job helping veterans. Thanks everyone!

I go to therapy due to me having Macular Degeneration and health issues that has me totally stressed out. I sought help. My health has declined and I was so overwhelmed with everything. People please protect your mental and your peace. I am fighting a battle in which many people do not understand, unless it is happening to them or a loved one. A battle in which I do not wish upon anyone. Its me today but can be you tomorrow. This world has no compassion or empathy for those whom are suffering. My disease is a hidden disability and because I do not look like I feel I am judged and criticized. I feel so sick, alone, afraid, and helpless. Despite all the medical evidence that proves my claim they still think its not true. I am really suffering behind most often a painted smile. However, now im tired. Crying and screaming within. Why is all this happening to me? I never have time to catch my breath. Being blind or legally blind is not easy. One day I could see and then suddenly you can barely see anything. The world changed just like that. Shame on those who do not have a heart and who is trying to break mines with their opinions. Who do you turn to when there is nowhere or noone to turn to? I came here in 2018 when I was at rock bottom and finally ready for a change and today I can say that it was life changing for me. I've been clean ever since and have rebuilt a happy life down in Florida near the beach. I don't remember names but my counselor was amazing, and there was another really pretty lady in heels who was a Capricorn that was amazing as well. Anyways thank you guys for facilitating one of the most pivotal moments in my life. Will be forever grateful.

Walden has employees who are very dedicated & compassionate where adults in their care are concerned. Thru covid nightmares making a huge hindrance in allowing group meetings for some time, dedicated staff realized the importance of interaction with others who have walked the same nightmare. National shortage of trained help I am sure impacts their jobs, but I sincerely feel Walden's employees work there for the right reason..often saving a person's life. Their satisfaction at times when in the future seeing one of the 'flock' leading a normal, happy life when they run into them in public tells me they are there to make a viable difference. Thanks to all of Walden's angels in disguise for this!

I’ve been the the ER here several times, was seen quickly. Medical staff were kind and patient. Have had a run in with the occasional rude enlisted airman but the medical officers and civilian staff were phenomenal.

Tranquility Woods is an exceptional rehab facility that truly cares about their clients and wants to see them succeed. The staff are very friendly and the facility is beautiful. I am not sure if I was just lucky but the group of people that were also clients at the time of my stay have become close friends of mine after treatment and many, including myself, have remained sober. I know that all the counselors were generally well liked by the clients and almost everyone says that theirs was the best. But I would have to say mine was the best (thank you, Luke). He helped open my eyes to AA and I am well on my way to 90+ meetings in 90 days and having a lot of fun doing it. That is hard to believe given that a month and a half ago I was completely against the idea of going to AA for various reasons. Those reasons have since been debunked.
I also want to add that the food is excellent. The chefs know their stuff and are happy to share their knowledge with you.
